All through the restless night, a single thought consumed my mind like a relentless flame.
Tonia possessed extraordinary knowledge in healing arts. If her skills could restore Bruce's strength, surely they could address my own condition.
Dawn brought resolution. I summoned her to my Pack office, despite having crucial business meetings waiting. This conversation took precedence over everything else.
Surprise flickered across Tonia's features as she entered the room.
"How did you rest?" I asked without looking up from my paperwork, keeping my tone deliberately casual.
"I... fine, thank you."
