Chapter 8 - The problems never leave me

Chapter : The problems never leaves me

Next day…

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!"

"Mam! What happened? Why are you screaming so loud? Are you okay?"

Natasha rushed in, panic all over her face.

"My… my… ahhh no…" I groaned.

"Mam, should I call the boss? I'll call a doctor!"

"No, it's okay…" I said, tears slipping down my cheeks. "My stomach… it's hurting so badly."

"Okay, okay! Did you eat something different last night?"

"No, you— my stomach—"

Natasha was asking questions, answering them, and panicking at the same time.

"It's so painful…" I managed to say.

"Ahh right! I knew it. You got your periods."

"Yes, yes, my love. You're right."

"Aha! I'm always right." She said proudly.

"Should I get painkillers?"

"No! No painkillers. I can handle this. I'm a 20-year-old brave woman. Realiana, you deal with this every month—you'll survive these four days too."

"Oh dear, I understand you," she said softly. "I'll make soup. You'll feel better."

"Yes… you're the only one who understands me. Now go—fast!"

Just then—

"What's happening here? I heard your voice,"

Leo appeared at the door.

"Yeah, me too," Jack, Johsan, and Smith added.

"Are you okay, honey?" Leo asked with a small smile.

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?! YOU BASTARD, GET OUT—IDIOTS!" I shouted.

They all ran out instantly and slammed the door.

Outside the Room

"Fuuuu…" Leo exhaled.

"This is your fault," Smith blamed him immediately. Jack and Johsan nodded dramatically.

"Boss, I suggest… don't ever call her 'honey' again," Smith added.

"Hmm… hmm…" Jack and Johsan agreed.

"Fine, fine. I won't. But why did she shout like that?"

"She shouts like that every time," Smith replied calmly.

"Yes, yes," his very loyal partners nodded.

"I CAN HEAR YOU, YOU COWARDS!" I yelled and threw a book at the door.

They ran—again.

In the Kitchen

Natasha was crying.

"Hey—what happened to Realiana? Why is she acting like this?" Leo asked.

"You will never understand. All men are the same!" Natasha snapped.

"What??" all four of them said together.

"You broke up with your boyfriend?" Smith asked innocently.

Natasha froze.

"Huh?! Are you out of your mind?! GET OUT OF MY KITCHEN!"

She threw a spoon; they escaped instantly.

"Are you an idiot, Smith?!" Leo yelled.

"What?! I didn't do anything!"

"Why would you ask that? Don't you know she's been single her whole life?" Leo said.

"How would I know?!" Smith started crying.

"It's your fault," Leo declared.

"Yes, yes," Jack and Johsan switched sides again.

"You guys betrayed me…" Smith pouted. "Fine. I'll talk to her."

Back to My Room

Knock, knock.

"I SAID DON'T COME AGAIN!"

"It's me, mam."

"Oh… come in."

"Are you okay? Drink this—you'll feel better."

"Yes, my honey," I said with a tiny smile.

"Yes, my darling."

Outside, all four men were listening.

"But she doesn't like 'honey' and 'darling', right?" Smith whispered.

"We don't know. We've never had girlfriends," Jack said.

"Me neither," Leo admitted.

"Really?" Smith raised a brow.

"Shut up! I can't hear anything," Leo hissed.

"Realiana, feeling better now?" Natasha asked.

"Yes, much better. Thanks."

"By the way… when I was making this soup… I was crying."

"What?? Why?"

"Because I felt your pain."

"…What's the truth?" I asked.

"My date is tomorrow," she whispered.

Then we both started crying together.

"Aww, they're so sweet," Jack said outside.

"Is she going on a date?" Smith asked.

"No. She didn't tell me anything," Leo said immediately.

"Why do you care?" Johsan gave smith side-eyes.

"WHAT? I don't care! Why would I care?!" smith looked away.

"Shhh! Quiet!" Jack hissed.

"So what happened next?" I asked Natasha.

"Then these four idiots came and asked if I broke up with my boyfriend."

"What did you say?"

"I said—'But I don't have a boyfriend!'"

She cry

"Me too…" I sighed. And we both started crying again.

"Ladies, we are standing here! You don't need boyfriends!"

Leo barged in confidently.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"If you want a boyfriend… I'm here."

"…No. No thanks. I'm happy being single forever. Get lost."

Sometimes I question why he's the boss.

"Sometimes I question it too," Smith muttered.

"What did you say?" Leo asked with his mafia glare.

"NOTHING, BOSS!"

"If they don't want relationships, then why are they crying about being single?" Johsan asked.

"We'll never understand girls," Jack replied wisely.

"Natasha, thank you for the soup. I feel better now."

"It's nothing."

We both started laughing.

"Wait—they were crying a minute ago… now they're laughing?" Smith whispered. "That makes no sense."

"Why does every problem come to me?" I asked Natasha.

"Because we were born to be problems."

"Yeah. We're girls."

Leo peeked in with the others.

"This is our chance. Let's go."

They all entered.

"What do you want NOW?" I asked.

"What happened to you?" Leo asked.

"Nothing. I just got my periods."

"Ohhhhh. Girl problems," all four said.

"So… no big issue," Smith added.

"No big issue?!" Natasha's tone turned deadly.

"N-no… it's a BIG issue. A HUGE issue. We must… uh… GO!"

"We are sorryyyyyy!" all four shouted as they ran.

Now they are happy with each other let's go to work. Leo said .
