Chapter 11 - Leo's sister

Chapter 11 : Leo's sister

"Hi there."

A cold voice sliced through the air. I turned my head and saw her — a stunning, intimidating woman I had never seen before. Her yellow-golden hair fell perfectly around her shoulders, and her dark, sharp eyes held a dangerous kind of beauty. Everything about her screamed power — her figure, her height, her aura.

I guessed immediately: Leo's sister.

So she's Realiana, huh…

I suddenly became very aware of myself. Brown hair, plain brown eyes, nothing special. My body was okay, my height was… definitely not matching hers. She felt like the type of woman no one dared to stand beside.

"So your name is Realiana?" she asked, her voice clipped.

"Yes, ma'am. And I guess you're Leo's older sister?"

"Yes, I am." She folded her arms. "So… you want to become a doctor, right?"

"Y-Yes."

"Why hesitating?" Her eyebrow arched in judgment. "Are you sure? I don't like women who depend on others or hide behind excuses."

Her words were harsh, but painfully true.

"Yes, ma'am. You're right. But even if I don't become a doctor… I will still become an independent woman."

She stared at me like I had cracked a joke. Or worse, like she was inspecting me as a potential wife for her brother.

Fine. Two can play that game.

I stared right back.

Before either of us spoke again, her voice suddenly echoed through the room:

"Hey! All of you! What's going on here? Why is everyone running? And where is your boss? Call him. Now."

The way she said it sent the entire staff scattering. She turned back to me with the same expression Leo wore in his mafia mode — except hers was far scarier.

But I wasn't scared.

I held her gaze, eyes locked with hers. She looked like a dangerous lioness… and I probably looked like a cute angry kitten trying to look tough.

Leo finally rushed in, noticing the tension.

"Sister—" he started.

"Sister, huh?"

"I—I mean boss. You came early. You said you'd arrive at 11 a.m… it's only 9."

She stepped toward him, unimpressed.

"What does it matter if I come early or late?"

"Ahh… let's have breakfast first," Leo said, forcing a smile.

"I'm not here for breakfast." She slapped the table, making my sandwich slide dangerously close to falling. "And definitely not here to watch a childish girl who's still eating."

"Ahhh! My sandwich!" I grabbed it quickly. "Thank goodness. Oh my baby—I love you. I will eat you. Promise. Just wait one minute," I muttered dramatically.

Then I stood up, looked her straight in the eyes, and said:

"Look, I don't care if you're a mafia boss or whatever. You don't have the right to tell me what to do. I appreciate that you're beautiful, but that doesn't give you the right to judge me. You might be a boss for everyone here — but in my eyes, you're just a strong, ordinary woman. So don't cross your line."

I took a deep breath and sat down.

She stared at me… then suddenly giggled.

"You know how to shout at your enemies," she said. "Was that a compliment… or were you angry at me?"

"You're not my enemy. We met only a few seconds ago," I replied, taking another bite of my sandwich.

"Alright. I'll talk to you later."

Her expression switched instantly — mafia mode on.

"So," she said, turning to Leo, "I gave you one job. Why isn't it done?"

"I'm working on it, Boss," Leo said stiffly.

"I don't care. I want that contract on my desk in two days. If he refuses… kill him."

"Yes, Boss."

"And don't give me any reason to come here again. Understood?"

"Yes."

She turned to the workers.

"This furniture is six months old. Why haven't you changed it? Oh—I see. You're changing it because I'm coming."

"No, I mean—yes!" the worker stuttered.

"Do it fast. I have other work."

"Yes, ma'am."

Finally, she turned back to Leo.

"And you—go to work. Don't waste time."

Then, slowly, she turned to me again.

"So… where were we?"
