Loud echoes of laughter and cheerful childish giggles could be heard as Charlotte and Ava parked their car in the school visitors/parents parking lot.
They both got out of the car and went straight to the reception.
The receptionist was surprised to see them both at once, they haven't really shown up together before.
It was either Ava was too busy at work to pick up Aurora then Charlotte will do so for her.
Both Ava and Charlotte were well known in Aurora's school so they didn't have to go through protocol to see the receptionist.
They both stated their reason for going there unannounced.
"Good morning miss Britez we are here to take Aurora home, she wasn't feeling so good when she left the house for school this morning".
Charlotte said to the receptionist flashing the sweetest smile at her.
The receptionist smiled in return and looked back at the laptop on her desk.
After some tapping here, the security footage of Aurora's class suddenly came up.
Then she pressed the intercom and said "please come to my office with miss ortez"
She commanded.
The receptionist looked at them and smiled saying "please just wait a little bit".
A few minutes later Aurora's class teacher came in with Aurora hand in hand, Aurora's school bag in her hands.
Immediately Aurora saw Ava and Charlotte, her dampened face lit up with excitement.
She ran to hug Ava and then Charlotte. "Mum! Aunt Charlotte, why are you guys here?".
"Thanks miss Britez we'll be on our way!" Charlotte said, reaching out her hands to collect Ava's school bag from the teacher.
She then turned to go with Ava clutching her pinky finger tightly.
"Mrs Cortez please wait! You'll have to sign here"
The receptionist said to Ava before she could leave.
Ava went to the counter where the receptionist was, took the pen the receptionist gave her and quickly put down her signature.
When she was done, she walked out of the reception to meet Charlotte and Ava that was already seated in the car waiting for her.
She got into the driver's seat put on her seat belt, maneuvered her car out of the school premises.
"Ava how are you feeling?" Ava asked Aurora looking through the mirror smiling at her.
"I'm a good mum, I'm perfectly fine. Why did you withdraw me from school this early?"
Aurora asked, still surprised at the sudden appearance Ava and Charlotte made at her school.
"We have a surprise for you" Charlotte said gently without turning to look at Aurora.
Charlotte rested her head and reclined the chair so she could feel more comfortable, her eyes were tightly shut.
"Really?" Aurora asked with enthusiasm.
"Yes honey" Ava said with a smile getting the hint, the truth is they were taking Ava to the hospital.
"What's the surprise?" Aurora blurted out in excitement.
"Uh oh it's no more a surprise if we tell" Ava said, chuckling a bit.
"Okay then I'll wait," Aurora said.
Ava smiled while shaking her head slightly. Deep down she was really sad.
Charlotte didn't tell her the anything about the case of Aurora's glowing hair.
Charlotte said she couldn't pinpoint the problem.
She insisted that they had to go to the hospital.
Ava didn't really understand why Charlotte insisted that they went to the hospital.
As high ranking as Ava was in her breed, she knew absolutely nothing about the wolves or being a werewolf.
When she found out that she was a werewolf she freaked out for a whole month.
She thought she was a monster and was going to die soon.
She's never heard anything about werewolves before or knew that they were such things as werewolves.
She finally had courage to tell her Best friend Charlotte. Charlotte was very surprised and happy.
Charlotte was also a werewolf but didn't let anyone aside from her family or pack know about it, not even her best friend Ava, because it was forbidden.
Charlotte was born and brought amongst werewolves.
Her dad was the alpha of crescent moon park, her mum was an omega, her brother were both betas so naturally she wasn't a novice about werewolf stuff.
Ava was a complete novice; she didn't know a thing about the werewolves.
She wasn't brought up by any parents, just her grandfather, who died when she turned 18.
He didn't speak to her about werewolves or anything related, she didn't even know her parents.
She just knew that her mum and dad got separated when her mum was pregnant and her mum died immediately after giving birth to her.
Charlotte told Ava that she went out of control the previous night.
That she transformed to her werewolf form and went out of her house in a trance.
Charlotte actually went to Ava's house minutes before the full moon.
she never missed it for anything because she didn't want Ava to be alone in times like that.
Anytime it was a full moon, Charlotte would go over to Ava's home, they would both transform and then go to the vast field behind Ava's home to train.
Charlotte trained Ava every day and mostly intensely on full moon, she was sure and knew that Ava would surely have enemies.
Charlotte didn't really know Ava's pack but she knew that her special Wolf meant something.
Ava could hide her scent, every single werewolf had a particular scent that they carried about wherever they went.
Hiding of scents was very difficult and almost impossible but not for Ava. Ava could do it without stress.
It was something she did naturally, she would just connect with Emily and then boom!, no traces of the scent
Ava didn't know how to transform on her own except it was a full moon.
Charlotte had tried to teach her severally but teaching someone to transform was really difficult.
It's something that's supposed to be done freely between you and your wolf.
Charlotte saw that Ava was already transformed and was standing in the middle of the room staring at the full moon with glittering eyes.
Her Red and silk fur was shining more than usual. Yes! Her fur was Red. So very unusual yet pure.
She had golden and pure eyes that shone greatly even in the dark.
Charlotte transformed and also worked to where Ava was standing.
When she got to where Ava was, she looked at her eyes and felt something.
Charlotte had a gift of knowing what was wrong with anybody she touched or came in close contact with.
Charlotte was a half witch and a half werewolf. She went real close to Ava and touched her gently.
Charlotte discovered that Ava was in a trance, she was in her subconscious mind.
Her eyes were lost, her soul was so very far away from her body as she stared at the moon.
