They went deeper to the caverns and the two travelled into the darkness. Luckily, Ren knew the Floating light spell in which he made it hover to Kenji and him. Creating two for their use with one each.
They passed the storage room and Roan ushered Ren to check the room first. To their observation it might have something to loot. Or even a gold chest was present. And to their surprise, it was full of barrels with wine or water. Until they saw another room that has a chest. Roan broke the lock and saw gold inside.
"Wow. Let me count the gold." Ren said to him. Upon counting it was 126 and so, they packed it inside their storage and then went on.
While traversing deeper, they saw more devil spawns. Red skinned and has horns of a goat. Small as a kid but has mischievous and dirty play in fighting. "Guys, let's kill them!" Ren announced.
"Yeah!" Roan and Rick energetically replied.
They attack and Roan went speedily dashing towards them.
Ren went slashing the Devil spawns and immediately eliminated 3 of them them. Some were running and attacking him then flee. Making Ren block and then annoyed by their movement speed.
He slashed one on the shoulders and it's arms flew before decapitated. Its ice damage triggered and it was frozen.
Making the others who were attacked into a frozen statue. He immediately kicked them and they shattered on the process. Roan assisted with a claw slash and they were shattered into bits. He also kicked them then clawed them as a finishing. Rick smashed his axe and lightning went scattering about. Sending electrified enemies instead.
As Ren was panting, he turned around and immediately, to his surprise. All of them were resurrected in an instant.
The three smirked after realizing what has happened after seeing a familiar enemy, the Devil Master. That bastards would heal devil spawns to full heal or even resurrect them. Making them to smile.
The fallen enemies rose once again and was in full health! Though they were only limited to their own kin and not other species of devils or demons.
Imagine having such powers and resurrects the Enemy Boss without breaking a sweat. It would be a disaster and an out balance to the power system itself. He immediately used his wand and sent soul blast at the devil master.
Sending forth in succession towards the devil master. To his surprise, the devil spawns were protecting their master. Making his soul fire to get wasted to bunch of idiots and cannon fodders.
Ren was annoyed and so he dashed towards the fray and went all out. Even though he was panting, he tried to exert precise movements without wasted effort or stamina. He slashed lightly on the 3 enemies making them frozen while passing them by. He immediately headed towards the devil master and then attacked him. Making the enemy surprised by his courage and daring act.
The other two then attacked and backed up Ren to his endeavours. They went finishing off the minions that rose.
Rick was also shocked at his change of tactics and it was one of the most dumb idea he has yet. But he was left with no choice but to kill their boss.
Ren rotated and slashed the minions that were blocking his path. Swerving into the cluttered enemies and assaulted the master. The devil master's eyes bulged as he did not expect to have a deathly glare at him. Maybe it will be his last moments or so he thought.
Ren slashed it once and it was a hit. Making the devil master froze. Making his enemy frozen was a nice after effects of the weapon and it made him have a duel advantage against his opponent. Making the other two to see how brilliant Ren was.
But to his surprise, the enemy has over 50 health. And so he has to hit him six times before he would get killed.
Feeling a sense of urgency, he has to kill it before the other devil spawns would shake off the freezing effect.
And so, Ren slashed twice in a flicker of his hand. Not even a second has passed but he already slashed twice. Still it was not enough, he kicked his enemy that produced a knock back effect and then dashed to follow the enemy.
Other minions have already unfreezes and he has to kill the master before he could get swarmed by them.
He immediately stomped his feet to dash and then slashed the Devil master. One slash and it froze again. Making another 2 and then another 2 in a second. The enemy has fallen. While he was combatting the master, the two already finished the minions with their skills. Rick used his lightning axe and Roan his very fast attack speed claw.
It was finished and Ren panted with such straining and taxing non-aerobic execution. It has left him nearly passing out with how small air he has breathed.
He was breathing high and low until he laughed hard.
Making Ren have a high five with them.
"Good job!" Ren shouted. "Leader, don't be hasty. You would die if you do that again," Roan was concerned.
"Yeah!" Rick agreed. The three then laughed.
While they were laughing, Ren saw a notification.

With it, Ren whistled. He did not know that it his problem was solved that easily. With it, they continued their travels deeper. But to their surprise, they smelled decay on the air.
He saw 3 dead adventurers by the way . They were only wearing leather armors and one was only a robed clothing. Rick felt sad for them but it was blessings for Ren. And so he looted the decaying corpses and he got 110 gold coins.
"Whohoo lucky!" Ren shouted.
Kenji blurted out. As for their voices, the louder the better. They need to clear this infested cave. The more enemies heard them, the easier to clear them out.
