The trio went to the designated location of the mission. Specifically the Hero's Graveyard located within the Monastery graveyard. Upon seeing the monastery graveyard, it's gate was rotten by rust and vines were presently entangling the gates. Protruding on it were thorns and the place smelled Death.
Its presence was worrying the camp as it was just nearby and was teeming with rotten undead. Some were Skeletonized Rotten and were faster than it's normal type.
Also, the wind battered the catacombs of the fallen heroes and it created a howling abyss-like ambiance. The fog was also not helping in their current situation.
The feeling within was cold and the Cavern of Evil paled in comparison when it comes to its horrors and ambiance. The three proceeded and Ren felled two rotten undead. He immediately summoned 2 skeletons. One was using one handed sword and one was two handed. Both attacked in the same pattern as Ren. Making him impressive just to look at the two.
Rick on the contrary, used Elemental vines and Treant. Making his enemies ignited, burned, frozen and poisoned in the process. His attacks were enough to light up the darkness of the night and the two bided their time till they felled more and more of them.
Luckily, there were no elites that has elemental damages that could be a problem for the three. It was a smooth sailing ship until they arrived at the graveyard of the Heroes.
It was a place that has a heavy Aura of death and the three corrupted heroes were already waiting for them. They stood there for many years now and they were restless. They were the beloved heroes of the past and it infuriated the citizens of the injustice of the evils.
Still, it was what the norm was all about. "The Darkness is always a step further than the Light and Darkness was always winning. Where the Hell is a broad road and Heaven is a narrow path. And where the Good has lost to Evil."
They were the fallen heroes of the past. But what about it? He could reap their souls and make them his Shadow Lords! Making Ren to drool in sheer excitement.
But the problem was, how? They looked like they were still in their prime even with them in their undying forms. They still looked strong and were lively even in their deathly pale expressions.
The thing was, they could still fight like fighting the Primordial Evils. Though with their deaths, they were slightly in their insanity and not yet sober and unclear minds. Tainted with evil and without their sober minds, they were like walking monsters and their humanity was stripped off from them. The thing was, without their past minds, they would be the same as walking corpse without their battle instincts and combat style.
With that theory in mind, Ren thought that they would be easier prey than a predator. A disadvantage and handicap from them could be used effectively and efficiently.
They sized up the enemies and still, they were standing in the graveyard like guards. Upon sensing them, they were immediately angered like hounds that were territorial to their territory. They entered the enemy territory and then those eyes that were cold became like fire burning with rage. They angered the three and then Ren, Rick and Roan immediately went on guard.
The Roan immediately attacked the Swordsman hero and they immediately clashed with their swords.
Ren attacked the Legendary Ranger and then it rained arrows to him. Rick faced the Arc Mage and they clashed with skill to skill.
The Sword Saint clashed Roan and the skeletons of Ren. Though even with Ren's battle style, they proved to be having difficulty. The one handed sword skeleton focused on facing the swordsman and distracts the Sword Saint then the two handed skeleton attacked in some times when it was distracted and that it saw that has chances to attack. But still, it could block even without looking from its back.
The two skeletons danced like in synced and attacked like two Rens but the Sword Saint was able to negate every move. The one handed skeleton attacked with more speed and thrusts his sword in rapid succession and the two handed skeleton slashed from his back and attacked in his blind spots. Though the Sword Saint repelled every single attack and then singlehandedly soloed the two.
Roan then dashed and their weapons clashed. The two skeletons also were able to assist him with covering his blind spots.
Ren on the contrary was rained with arrows. Some were magic arrows and some were poisoned ones. Making Ren dash to the side to just evade them. Making him leap towards her in a back flip then was fired with arrows while above her.
Ren then slashed and parried the arrows that came rushing towards him and then slashed towards her. Making her frozen on the spot. Though her health was still tantamount and Ren has to hit her multiple times. And also, if she fired arrows in point blank range, it would be difficult to parry her. And so, Ren used soul blast and freezing attack in succession.
Rick on the other part, was having difficulty. The enemy used all types of magic and he on the contrary was only using several types of them. He was used with force field, telekinesis, spatial, Ethereal, Elemental, Healing, Buffs, Support, Time, and Psychic types. Making him to have be easily defeated.
But before he was defeated, he made a huge explosion to make his enemy's life to half.
Ren then defeated the Ranger and then attacked the Mage. He used drain and the enemy attacked him with spells. He healed himself and then used time stop on Ren's area. Making him to evade it and then still used the time to dash to him.
Immediately, he slashed him but his attacks passed through the body of the Mage. Making an ethereal spell was high tier of magic mastery. Same with spatial.
The enemy teleported on his back and used a binding spell on him. Ren on the contrary was able to negate the skill by interrupting it. Making the enemy to get hit but has elemental shield so the freezing effect was useless for now. Still, he was wounded and used heal again. But Ren's Drain skill was able to churn down his enemy's health, stamina, and Mana. Making him to have difficulty.
His mana regeneration was great but it was only being stolen by Ren.
Though using Drain skill in huge lengths of time was a great burden for his mind and the toll was great. Making him hold on for just winning the fight. And it proved effective as the enemy has almost used up his mana for using high tier skills.
Ren then dashed and slashed his head and then it was flung on the process. With it, he thought that it was finished but the time spell activated and time went back a bit for him. The time when his head was still intact. Making Ren to repeat the same process and the enemy rewinded the time couple of times before it stopped as the mana or the spell of the enemy has run out.
Same with the Sword Saint, his stamina was worn down by the skeletons as the skeletons doesn't have stamina and were in full energy ever since the battle begun and as it has ended. Roan and the skeletons decapitated and butchered the Swords Saint like it was a monster. The enemies were all fallen and then Ren saw a notification.
