The trio went on and the road was still clear. No enemies showed up yet. They traverse a road that has deathly ambiance. The forest dried up and dead trees scattered on the surroundings. Roan paled as he was having tension and fear enveloped his mind.
On the contrary, Ren was just humming while they jogged on the road towards the cave. The trio went in a snaky like and swerving road the ran in a straight road. Making the trio arrive at the mouth of the cave.
The three observed that the place was in a festive mood. Chants of unknown language was heard even from the outside. There was a light glow from their perspective outside.
Ren was energetic now, as he has consumed the bread with the other two. Making him have ample energy to fight. He shared the food to the others so that they will have energy too. Thinking about it, they could last another day.

The trio entered the entrance and there has no guard on the gateway. Making the trio have a smooth drive inside. With the current situation, whether they assault the cave in a skirmish or a brawl, neither sneak assassinations will be time efficient. And so, they decided to use the brawl one. As far as the two wanted to go back immediately for the handsome rewards.
After they entered, they saw a red star on the floor made with blood. There were small tents littered on the side of the cavern. Small barrels were scattered within.
As they observed, small red creatures called devil spawns were dancing near the bonfire that they made.
Kenji whistled at them and he grabbed their attention. Looking at him with shocked expressions. To think these three would challenge a hive that they were numerous in numbers.
Ren drew his sword from the scabbard. Signifying that he was now ready for combat. He equipped the wand on the other hand and then threw a spell.
Soul blast!
The magical fire was sent like a projectile towards the enemies. He threw spells at them and the devil spawns were hit on the process. They were down with just one hit!
Ren saw that they dispersed upon the chaos he unleashed. They were caught surprise by the attack. To think that they have ranged attacks. Rick used his spell summon elemental vines and then launched an attack. He slashed his weapon and then sparks of lightning was emitted.
The enemies immediately ran away from them after the sparks stunned them. Summoning their courage, they attacked again. Roan then smirked upon their wrong choice. Ren used Bone armor and he was enveloped with bones from head to toe. Making him armored to the teeth.
He immediately ran towards them thinking that their attacks were nearly useless for him. Their damage were 2 to 4 but his armor blocks damage up to 10.
Making Ren smile as his worries were solved.
He hastily dashed as he went all out. Slashing the enemies from left to right. Their heads were separated from their bodies as he slashed with speed. Their necks were exposed and it was easy to slash them as Ren was an expert at precision.
Roan dashed and then clawed them killing one after another with only one hit. Making their ranks to diminish in numbers.
Ren slashed one and the Ice damage was triggered. Freezing the devil spawns on the process. With it, Rick took the opportunity to assist. He barraged with vines attacks towards the freezing enemies.
The others could resist but still, they were slowed for 1 second. Though that 1 second was enough to slash the second time around.
Some of them froze and shattered immediately. He entered the battlefield with just a few seconds and they were eliminated immediately.
Still, it was taxing as stamina was still low in this levels. Come to think of it, stamina was under vitality. Meaning, he would get panting with just few slashes.
"Damn, I am doomed. I direly need stamina as I focused on speed," Upon realizing that his weakness was stamina and not health was very disturbing. He has to be very careful from now on.
That was why, Necromancers has minions, to help them as they battle.
And so, he realized, he needed a skeleton. He raised one and with a skeleton that has a sword on its hand.
With it, he saw that burning eyes of its summon. Making him impressed with the majestic scene. Thinking about it, it was maybe the feeling Xule had when he first used a summon which was a Skeleton.
He watched the battle finished after he saw Roan and Rick finishing off the remaining enemies.
He immediately saw that his current situation was not even a glass Cannon but a Cannon fodder. A more worst kind, as he was useless in the long run of fighting. He could not last in just a small skirmish. His stamina was a problem. And so, he thought of more options at the moment. Whether to be a warrior build of a necromancer. Or what to call himself right now.
"Sword-wielding Necromancer!" Ren shouted.
"That is a good name!" Roan said, impressed.
