ADANNA POV (Point of view)
There was no ground, no sky, no edges..... just space, endless and alive. The third core stood before me... not as code and not as structure, but as presence, something ancient, something aware and Orion....
It wasn't behind me, tt wasn't around me but it was everywhere. A network of intelligence stretching beyond anything I could see, and yet... it focused on me.
DARIAN POV (Point of view)
Her body hadn't moved, not once, but I could feel it, something was happening, something deeper than anything we had seen before.
I tightened my grip on her hand.
"Adanna…"
There was no response and Victor's voice came quietly.
"She's fully integrated now."
I didn't like the sound of that.
ADANNA POV (Point of view)
"You stand at the convergence."
The voice came from everywhere. Orion voice was cold, precise and certain.
"And you stand at the boundary," another voice followed.
