(RAFFAELE'S POV)
Krystal and I walk side by side as we leave the building, heading toward the cars.
I'm quiet.
Not because I have nothing to say… but because my mind is somewhere else entirely.
I can still feel her lips on mine.
It's ridiculous.
We're already outside, the moment has passed, but my lips still tingle like she never pulled away. Every time I think about it, the feeling comes right back as if it just happened a second ago.
I try to keep my face neutral but it's pointless.
I can feel the smile sitting there.
It's been a long time since we kissed.
Too long.
And this time… she was the one who leaned in first.
That thought alone makes something warm settle deep in my chest.
I glance at her briefly before looking ahead again, the smile pulling just a little wider.
Yeah. I'm not getting over this anytime soon.
We reach the cars.
I open the door and slide into the backseat while she circles around to the other side. A second later, she gets in beside me.
