(KRYSTAL'S POV)
The second I step out of the car, Rafa's already walking toward me, smiling ear to ear.
I hug him as soon as he reaches me, and he wraps his left arm around my waist, pulling me even closer.
I rest my chin on his good shoulder and we just stay there for a moment, holding each other.
When we pull back I look past him at the house.
"Wow." I turn slowly, taking it in. "This place is stunning."
The grounds alone—the statues, the courtyard, the flower hedges, the way the whole property sits behind its walls like something out of a magazine—it doesn't look real.
He smirks. "Just wait till you see the inside."
He nods toward the entrance. "Come on."
"Hold on," I say, turning back toward the car. "Let me get my bags."
"Leave them," he says.
He glances at one of the nearby soldiers and snaps his fingers toward the trunk.
"Get her bags. Bring them inside."
"Yes, boss." the man says, already moving.
