TUESDAY
Today is definitely not making it into the 'good times' tab in my brain. And that's 'cause the 'stand-in' principal, Ms. Pamela, is actively trying to take away my sanity.
Let me explain.
Principal Angela, who's like, the best principal ever, is on a vacation out of the country. I heard she has relatives in Dubai, so that's probably where she went. She has to be an undercover billionaire mafia queen or something, 'cause she's always going on some random vacation to some random expensive place.
Which reminds me, I haven't even finished drafting my plan to convince her that I'm her long lost sibling. Believe it or not, that's something I'm seriously working on...
...It's illegal for her to be doing so much all by herself. OMG.
Anyway, the point is— every time Principal Angela's absent, her gremlin twin sister, Ms. Pamela fills in for her! And today wasn't any different.
Ms. Pamela is the complete opposite of her sister. She's such a dictator, and she's literally the most ANNOYING person on earth. Well, that's if we ignore that moose, Bethany, and every other person I've called annoying.
It's all the more reason I need to carry out my plan, 'cause clearly, somebody needs a new twin.
Ms. Pamela has done so many twisted things to us at school, but something about today made me feel like she'd had a whole month to plan.
The first thing she did when she got here was CANCEL break! Girl, I know. Every teacher that taught today told us, "It's for your own good. Use that time to study and develop your IQ."
I have no words.
Like that wasn't enough, this woman randomly barged into maths class, and issued a mortuary science test... I'm not kidding. She just came in feeling like Beyoncé, threw papers at us, and yelled, "Your time starts now." How in the absolute %#@ did she expect 10th graders to answer a mortuary science test? Hell, I almost forgot what that means.
Obviously, Gregory Mathias was not an option, and my girl Helena was seated far away from me. Guess why? Because Ms Do-too-much thought it would be a good idea to reshuffle our seats.
And as fate would have it, the nearest person to me was FIONA. I know, isn't it great? Another test to flunk.
At that moment, I didn't even know if I was mad at that Beyoncé wanna-be, Bethany, the test, or the whole school building. All I knew was that I wanted to throw something into a black hole so bad.
Now, I low-key wanna know what Ms Pamela would've scored if she attempted the test. I'm guessing maybe a 1 outta 10, 'cause no offense, she doesn't look very smart to me.
Just when I thought my day couldn't get any
worse, IT DID. I wouldn't even wish what happened to me on my worst enemy.
So... Helena and I snuck out of class. Yes, we did.
We couldn't take any more English.
I mean, can you blame us? Our regular 50-minute classes were extended to 3 WHOLE HOURS. A lot of my classmates already snuck out the window before us, by the way.
...You'd expect that we'd hide in the girls' bathroom or something, but NOOOOO. We went to explore the theatre room. I don't remember which one of us came up with that idea, but I wish the other person was smart enough to discourage it.
When we got there, we met annoying Bethany, stupid Fiona, and ugly Dre - all from my class. That was the first sign that we should've left... and the last one.
I don't think I've mentioned Dre before now, which is actually surprising.
You know that two-faced, problematic, must-have guy in every movie? The one with personality as thin as sandpaper? That's Dre.
I know you're wondering, "What's her issue then?" Well, it's actually genuine this time!
He's always flirting with me, which, eww.
And he keeps doing that dumb thing boys do– bugging a girl just to aura-farm. Just writing about him right now is making me CRINGE. I'll tell you more later, girl.
The point is, Helena and I should've left the theatre room. We didn't—and the janitor accidentally LOCKED us IN.
Now, we were stuck in the same room with the Creep Squad. Excellent.
I actually confirmed the universe despises me, 'cause there happened to be NO signal reception at that moment too. I know that sounds pretty convenient to you, and honestly, same.
That didn't last long though, 'cause the janitor came back to pick his bucket a few minutes after. Then he ratted us out to Ms Pamela, and we spent the rest of the day together re-cataloguing the library.
