Dahlia's POV
Bill's eyes burned with contempt as he stared me down in the hotel corridor. His face twisted with disgust while he spoke through gritted teeth. "Ivana almost died because of you. If she hadn't shamelessly clung to Cobb back then, you think he'd have any shortage of women?" His voice dropped to a menacing growl. "What happened, he finally kicked you to the curb so you ran straight to a hotel to spread your legs for someone else?"
I felt my eyebrows draw together in irritation. Meeting his hostile gaze with cold indifference, I replied with measured calm, "Oh, so staying at a hotel automatically means someone's here for sex? Then what exactly brings you two here together? Planning some family bonding time?"
The suggestion hit its mark. Bill's face flushed red with rage as he took a threatening step forward. "Say that shit again, I dare you."
