Dahlia's POV
Ivana's head snapped up, her eyes blazing with disbelief as she fixed her stare on me.
"Dahlia, I understand your hatred toward me, but you cannot fabricate lies about Cobb," she declared, her voice trembling with indignation. "Even in your desire for revenge against him, you should never make mockery of family elders."
I cocked my head to one side and released a bitter laugh.
"Leave. Now. I need rest."
I didn't wait for her reaction before settling back against the hospital pillows.
The physician who had been observing quietly finally intervened. "Ladies, this patient requires complete rest for her recovery. I must ask you both to cease this disturbance immediately."
Cobb moved toward Ivana, offering his arm to help her stand. As they made their exit, he cast one final look of contempt in my direction.
