CHAPTER 3: SPARK
After the ceremony ended some children went home with great gladness knowing that they are destined to transcend the restraints of their mortal bodies becoming celestials unbound by the world
while others wore expression of thick gloom with their family members either chastising them of sympathizing with them
But daniel stood behind, stood before the altar " so this altar just determined my fate? but im reluctant to accept this" he whispered, then he went back on the altar when no one was looking them placed his hand on it" still nothing huh i guess i'll have to give up" then he turned back to leave the altar when a dazzling silver light erupted from the altar
"huh whats that daniel was shocked " but suddenly the light faded that was when daniel saw clearly the altar, sacred and unbroken from ages before lid shattered on the floor.
"i better leave this place immediately or i'll be in serious trouble" daniel said while running like someone that was being pursued. he knew in his mind that his destiny had changed or maybe it didnt change it was always meant to be this way
when he got home it was already night, he had a hard time getting away from his emotional mum that kept on trying to comfort him with her words, hs dad disappeared when he was still young so it was only the both of them
when he was finally allowed to leave he went inside the room to sleep" i really want to see the element i awakened, what exactly was that silver light" he mumured on his bed "oh well i'll know tomorrow" he said before going to sleep.
