The village square thrummed with anticipation, every child who had come of age stood in line, hearts pounding waiting to place their hands on the crystal of awakening , for each of them this was the moment their destinies would be revealed.

one by one childrens approached the stone altar each placing a hand on the stone, rio went first an intense darkness covered the stone altar, darkness! everyone gasped ''one of the primordial elements" someone whispered
The elder gave rio a kind smile before announcing " rio primordial darkness rank 6" another wave of gasps spread across the crowd when they heard the rank, you should know rank 9 was the highest rank of affinity the twin moon world has ever seen.
A tall boy went next and successfully awakened the earth element before he left he faced daniel arrogantly''try not to embarass yourself trash" daniel didn't reply he just looked at him with his eyes that looked like it could see through the void
next came Leina who awakened dual elements also leaving the crowd flabbergasted " how does this small town awakens two top level genius" someone said with surprise
then it was daniels turn, he took a deep breath then placed his hand on the stone altar, he reched inward just as directed to commune with the world essence but there was nothing, no sign, no color just utter stillness
Rio frowned "nothing? really?
"i guess..." he muttered "maybe i wasn't cut out to be an elementalist afterall he said while trying to keep the smile on his face
"dont worry child there are a lot of jobs for those who didn't awaken, you can just be like any mortal" master Damian comforted Daniel, but Daniel only nodded he felt deep within that it wasn't going to end like this.
