Today is like any other day for me I get up get dressed but today felt different somehow like my life was about to change you know that feeling you get where something feels different but everything seems the same well that was how my morning started maybe it was in the wind maybe it was the storm that everyone dreaded coming but something just felt off today so as I walked to my mother's room I tried to figure out if maybe deep down i had forgotten something but nothing came to mind so I slowly opened her door hoping she was still sleeping hoping maybe god took pity on her and took her to his kingdom with him but as I finally opened the door all the way I see her laying there machines hooked to her skinny to the point u see bones body eyes wide open like she knew I was coming. Good morning mother I say so faintly I dought she even hears me. Goodmorning my sweet baby girl she says so quietly that I think to myself it took all the energy left in her body to say. I walk over and sit down next to her grabbing her hand and ask her how was your night did you sleep well? she smiles at me and says I slept like a baby I smile at her and ask her is the pain better today or worst? It's a lot better my dear but don't worry about me. i smiled at her and kissed her hand as i stood up. mom i have to run into town to get some supply's before the big storm comes in tomorrow is there anything i can grab for you while I am there? No dear but don't forget we are having visitors. visitors? I question yes friends of your fathers they will arrive late tonight so make sure the guest rooms are prepared for them and food is put out they will most defiantly be hungry after the long run here. Run? I say looking at here like she has grown two heads. don't you mean drive? oh yes sweety it's this illness it's got my brain all in a frenzy mixing my left from my right just make sure there is food prepared and the guest rooms done for them. the look on my mom's face looked like fear like i caught on to one of her deep dark secrets of. I decided to just brush it off because after all I had so much to do before these mystery people show up. so, I said my goodbyes to my mother and headed towards town.
