Chapter 97 - Chapter 97 Island

He had already considered these things.

He had even thought about finding a chef, replicating a memory, and then using Life Alchemy to create a puppet to cook for him.

However, he hadn't tried this operation before, so he didn't know if it would work.

"Alright then, I wish you a smooth move into your new home." Mira thought for a moment, feeling that Ezreal had considered everything quite thoroughly, so she said nothing more, bent down, and retrieved a small fruit cake from the counter, handing it to him.

Ezreal thanked Mira, turned, and walked over to Cana and the others, who were chatting animatedly. He pulled Laki aside, explained his requirements, and then paid a 100,000-yen deposit.

Afterward, he headed straight for his rented room.

Opening the door, a faint smell of dust wafted out.

After three months away, there was a considerable amount of dust in the room.

Ezreal stood at the doorway and cast the cleaning magic he had specifically learned for housework.

A gentle breeze mixed with water swirled through every corner of the room, carrying away all the dust.

Ezreal took a big leap onto the sofa and lounged for a while. After he had rested enough, he got up again to pack his various small items.

There wasn't much to pack, just some small objects he had bought and a few changes of clothes.

Although Ezreal's Shurima-style adventure suit was his most frequently worn outfit and had magical enchantments, he grew tired of always wearing the same set of clothes.

So, he also bought a few other outfits with magical enchantments and put them in his wardrobe.

It must be said that these clothes with magical enchantments were quite expensive; even the cheapest one cost over a thousand yen.

After a simple tidying up, Ezreal returned to the bedroom and immediately fell asleep... The next day at noon, a well-rested Ezreal tossed his packed luggage into Summoner's Rift.

He then took his rent and rental contract to Aunt Jerra to complete the lease termination.

After finishing all of this, Ezreal returned to the guild.

Laki and Mira were chatting at the bar, and the guild was still packed with people.

From the moment Ezreal entered until he reached the bar, he greeted about ten familiar faces.

Upon closer inspection, the main characters and most of the supporting characters were all in the guild.

After winter set in, everyone's frequency of appearing at the guild had increased.

He even saw Laxus drinking alone on the second floor.

"Hi, EZ," Mira and Laki greeted him warmly.

"Good afternoon," Ezreal replied with a smile.

Laki took two cards from her white coat pocket and handed them to Ezreal.

"All the furniture you wanted is here. This is the best batch I've made all year."

"I also had a friend make the large palace design blueprint you requested. It requires a lot of materials, so it's best if you prepare enough stone yourself."

"For both, as a friend, I'll give you an 80% discount. The remaining balance is 290,000 yen," Laki said.

"That fast? I thought it would at least be until this afternoon," Ezreal said in surprise, taking the cards.

"The furniture was all made in advance. I just added a few pieces according to your requests last night. They were originally high-end custom orders meant for the furniture store after the New Year, but since you want them, I'll package them all for you."

"My friend has many design blueprints. Although palace designs are rare, some people still buy them, and he had some ready-made ones. They were delivered this morning," Laki explained with a smile.

"Thanks. Once my new home is built, I'll invite you all over as guests." Ezreal nodded, opened a portal, took out a stack of money, handed it to Laki, then waved and left the guild... Seven hundred kilometers east of Magnolia, there was a huge, uninhabited desert island.

From a high vantage point, the island's shape resembled a giant gourd.

In terms of area, it was astonishingly large, nearly twice the size of Magnolia.

The island was rich in vegetation, with vast forests, expansive grasslands, and two massive freshwater lakes.

Ezreal, riding on the Shadow Worgen, who had transformed into a giant wolf, arrived above a mountain peak in the center of the island.

With a flick of his wrist, Ezreal tossed a white energy orb into the air. The orb expanded with the wind, transforming into a white energy vortex, over a person's height, rotating clockwise in the sky.

A massive, gray Golem, with only a single blue eye and no other facial features, struggled out of the white vortex.

This Golem was nearly eight meters tall, with powerful limbs. Its single eye glowed blue, and blue light also emanated from its joints.

The Blue Buff, having evolved to A-rank, made its first appearance.

After crawling out of the white vortex, the Blue Buff plunged straight towards the summit of the mountain.

When it landed on the mountaintop, it slammed its hands onto the ground.

Earthen-gray energy spread from its hands across the mountain.

The hard rocks and soil began to soften and disintegrate, turning into a large pool of gray, cement-like substance.

The Blue Buff continuously outputted magic, and a massive amount of earth elemental magic spread downwards from the mountaintop.

The entire peak of the mountain had completely vanished under the transformation of its earth elemental magic, replaced by a cement swamp covering an area of two thousand meters.

When the cement swamp expanded to three thousand meters, a more intense earthen-gray light emanated from the Blue Buff.

The previously slowly flowing cement began to boil and churn like hot water under the Blue Buff's control.

The flowers, plants, and trees in the cement were crushed and pulverized.

The boiling cement gradually changed form, becoming rock pillars, stone walls, stone gates, eaves, corners, tiles... Ezreal watched clearly from above as a palace made of earth and rock rose from the ground.

Approximately ten minutes later, a magnificent, ancient, and grand medieval-style palace was completed.

The Blue Buff even thoughtfully created simple glass for each window using quartz sand. Although it wasn't very transparent glass, it had a somewhat antique charm.

Ezreal descended from the sky on the Shadow Direwolf, standing before the main gate of the palace, exceptionally pleased.

"That's it, the house has to be big. How grand this is!"

Ezreal dismounted the Shadow Worgen. The giant wolf's form erupted in a cloud of black smoke, reverting to its Worgen form, and followed behind Ezreal.

Ezreal pushed open the stone door and entered the palace.

The interior of the palace was quite spacious, with many rooms, but no furniture.

The Blue Buff stood in the center of the palace, bowing to Ezreal.

"My Lord."

Ezreal nodded in response, carefully inspecting the palace to ensure its design matched the blueprint. Then, he threw out two more white energy orbs.

The two white energy orbs expanded with the wind, transforming into two white energy vortices, each a person's height.
