Chapter 1 – A New Morning in the Nohara Household
The alarm clock buzzed loudly.
"Shinchan! Wake up!" Ai-chan's voice rang out, sweet but firm.
Shinchan, sprawled on the futon, groaned. "Five more minutes… Action Kamen is fighting in my dreams…"
A tiny voice piped up beside him. Their five-year-old son, Shinta, wiggled his bottom proudly."Papa, Papa! Look! Butt-butt dance attack!"
Ai-chan hid her laugh. "He's just like you…"
"Correction!" Shinchan shot up, striking a pose. "He's my sequel! Shinchan 2.0: The Butt Awakens!"
From the crib, the newborn daughter wailed. Ai-chan rushed over, while Shinchan puffed his chest."See? Even my daughter's applauding my performance!"
Just then, Shiro trotted in, tail swaying, followed by two fluffy puppies: Shira (the calm one) and Shiru (the naughty one).
Shiru yanked Shinchan's blanket."Hey! Don't steal Papa's heroic cape!" Shinchan cried, posing like a fallen samurai.Shira tilted her head, as if sighing, 'So immature…'
Misae entered with a breakfast tray."Grandmaaaa!" Shinta ran to her arms.
Misae kissed his forehead warmly. "My little hero! You'll save the world one day — but first, eat or you'll faint before saving the fridge."
Hiroshi peeked in, holding a toy car."Superhero? You can't even wake up without Ai-chan."
"Grandpa!" Shinta clung to him. "I'll be Super Butt-Man! My sidekicks Shiro, Shira, and Shiru will fight evil with me!"
Shiro barked proudly. The puppies yipped in chorus, circling Shinta until he spun and landed on his butt.Everyone burst out laughing — except the baby, who cried louder.
"Don't worry, princess." Shinchan scooped her up, rocking her clumsily."Daddy's here. Time for a concert!"
He sang dramatically, switching mid-verse like a broken karaoke:
🎵 "Poopy-poopy pants, dancey-dancey ants!" 🎵🎵 "Milk bottle power, cry-cry shower!" 🎵🎵 "Shiro, Shira, Shiru squad — barking like a hero squad!" 🎵🎵 "Butt-butt beam, ultimate dream!" 🎵
Ai-chan covered her face. "Shinchan! That's noise pollution!"
But the baby suddenly giggled. Even Shiru barked along, like backup vocals.
Ai-chan's heart softened. Since childhood… I was always drawn to him. Even when others rolled their eyes, I liked his honesty. His craziness. That's why I married him.
Shinchan caught her gaze, winked, and declared,"Don't worry, Ai-chan. With my charm, your brains, and the triple-Shiro army, our kids are destined to be legendary!"
Ai-chan blushed.
"Oi, stop embarrassing my daughter-in-law with nonsense!" Misae snapped, smacking Shinchan's head.
"Ouch! Motherly violence detected!" Shinchan rolled dramatically on the tatami.
The chaos swirled — Shinta playing with Hiroshi, Shiru chewing Shinchan's socks, Shira tugging Ai-chan's slipper, Misae trying to feed everyone, and Shiro supervising like a wise old boss.
Outside, Kasukabe bustled as usual. The morning sun shone.
But as Shiro glanced out the window, his ears perked up. Somewhere beyond the cheerful town, a faint shadow moved.
This was no ordinary family.And tonight… their secret life would begin.
