Chapter 3 - The Oceania Continent and Luzvion Republic

In the year 2100, Earth is comprised of five massive continents: Eurasia, Amerasia, Afronova, Oceania, and the Polar Frontier. These continents contain more than 300 countries, and some of these countries have even transformed into kingdoms or empires. Within the continent of Oceania, there exists a nation called the Luzion Republic, with its capital city being Neo-Manila. The population of Luzion Republic has exceeded 250 million people as of 2100.

Luzvion Republic primary exports is Aether Crystals, Luzvion Alloy, and Hydro-Magitech Systems, the Luzvion Republic specializes on oceanic mana engineering, aquatic combat, and spirtual programming. Luzvion Republic play a major role in the world's Oceania (Aqualis Dominion) Continent, especially since it's strategically located between the Aurion Straits Federation and the Pacific archipelagos.

The History of the Luzvion Republic explains that the name change occurred in 2060 during an event known as the Great Mana Surge. This event resulted in significant tectonic shifts and rising sea levels, which fractured much of the old archipelago. The Filipino people adapted by merging floating habitats, elevated megacities, and deep-ocean platforms into a cohesive national network. By 2080, the nation was renamed the Luzvion Republic, transforming it into a maritime powerhouse and a critical gateway for trade routes between the Pacific and Oceanic regions.

The economic power of the Luzvion Republic lies in its status as a mana-tech hub, specializing in Aether Crystals, Leystone Reactors, and biotech coral engineering. The republic is home to the Magisterial Port of Neo-Manila, one of the busiest ports in the oceanic regions, where Class Users and Non-Class citizens work together harmoniously. Additionally, Luzvion is known for exporting Luzvion Alloy, a hybrid metal capable of storing both kinetic and mana energy. This material is highly valued for use in shields, armor, and power conduits.

The Military and Defense of the Luzvion Republic is primarily represented by the Luzvion Aegis Fleet, which patrols vital sea trade routes. This fleet utilizes Amphibious Mecha Vessels and Tideframe Armor—bio-mechanical suits powered by water mana. The Republic is also home to the UEF 7th Marine Division, which specializes in amphibious combat and disaster response.

The Ascension Alliance has established a small branch organization in the Luzvion Republic to assist with the management of the Class Allocation Terminal. With support from the United Earth Federation, they have also included the Central System Management Authority to ensure that all citizens aged sixteen and older receive their class specializations.

The Luzvion Republic Defense Force (LRDF) enforces strict military regulations, requiring all citizens, regardless of gender, to attend the Marine Defense Academy for two years. During this training period, they learn to patrol against amphibious monsters that threaten trade goods between the Luzvion Republic and its allies.

When citizens turn sixteen, they are either transported or guided by the CSMA Escort Agency to the Class Allocation Terminal in Neo-Manila. After receiving their class specializations, they are given a week to prepare before being guided by LRDF officers to the Marine Defense Academy.

Upon arrival, recruits are assigned to different groups based on their class specialization, which may include frontliners, defenders, supporters, backliners, among others. All new recruits are referred to as Marine Recruits, the initial rank in the military hierarchy. They are required to complete a set of core subjects along with one or two specialized classes related to their specific roles and patrol duties.

In the United Earth Federation Global Defense Forces (UEFGDF) a massive fusion megastructure housing the UEF's Command Nexus and the Central System Management Authority liaison branch has a primary purpose is to defend humanity's territories — on Earth, the Moon, orbital stations, and other dimensions — from external, internal, and interdimensional threats. The UEFGDF introduced five command hierarchy they are Supreme Defense Chancellor, Global Command Council (12 members), Continental Commanders (24 members), National Defense Directors, and Unit Commanders.

The Supreme Defense Chancellor holds the military rank of Primordial Supreme Overlord. This is the highest military position, granted only during interstellar and interdimensional threats. If such threats are not present, the Supreme Defense Chancellor reverts to the second-highest military rank, which is Titansteel Marshal.

The Global Command Council, composed of 12 members, reaches this level of military service. The ranks within this council include the Grand Magus General, Technomancer General, Archmage General, High Technologist General, Stormbringer General, Starforged General, Astral High Lord General, and Astral General, with each title representing different roles.

The Continental Commanders, consisting of 24 members, achieve their ranks through titles such as Arcblade Legate, Skyguard Sentinel, Moonshade Captain, Twilight Commander, and Luminary Commander.

National Defense Directors and Unit Commanders have no limitations on the number of military ranks they can assign. However, the ranks they can award are limited to the following: Spellshield Lieutenant, Dawnbreaker, First Master, Second Master, Arcanist Officer, Techno Officer, Enchanted First Officer, Enchanted Second Officer, Mystic Officer, Aether Blade Officer, Warden Officer, Guardian Officer, Silverbrand Bearer, Oathbound, Steelsoul, Stormblade, Glimmerfang, Iron Oath, Runeguard, Halosworn, and Ashenblade.

These are the official military titles under the United Earth Federation Global Defense Force (UEFGDF). While each country is permitted to use these ranks, they also create their own military ranking systems to avoid confusion with other nations.

The most notable magical classes in the Luzvion Republic include Hydromancers, Stormcallers, and Aether Technicians. Twenty years ago, in 2080, the Ascension Alliance made a significant breakthrough in class allocation through bloodlines and lineage. As a result, the Class Allocation Terminal introduced a system that allowed future generations to inherit these classes from their ancestors.

However, this breakthrough led to a significant issue known as the "Collapse of Equality." Ordinary citizens, who lacked a magical background, could still pursue class jobs but were unable to advance further due to limited resources. Despite exploring dimensional gates and hunting monsters, they faced obstacles in their progress. Meanwhile, powerful and wealthy families accumulated resources and passed them down through generations from 2085 to the present.

By the year 2110, conflict arose, and the entire Luzvion Republic turned against the Ascension Alliance, aligning instead with the Human Preservation Front (HPF). This shift in allegiance resulted in disrupted oceanic trade routes and affected valuable resources, such as Luzvion Alloy, which are essential across the Oceania Continent.

The United Earth Federation, the Central System Management Authority, and the Black Reign Syndicate remained neutral during that event. As a result, there were no changes regarding the 7th Marine Division, which is currently stationed in the Luzvion Republic. On Earth, the Ascension Alliance supports a total of 150 countries, while the Human Preservation Front supports 101 countries. The remaining 50 to 75 countries have been annexed by the Black Reign Syndicate, which operates under an Anarchist government.
