In the first week of June 2121, Accel Reyes Valdezar began his preparations after unlocking his class job and class specialization. With this, he gained access to his status window. He found it quite strange in regard to what he saw there. Despite his usual laziness, he started training, but he questioned whether the results shown in his status screen made sense.
"Whoa... Is this my stats?" He scrolled down the holographic display with cautious fingers, his eyes scanning the well-organized list of attributes. He let out a sigh. "Okay," he muttered, squinting. "This isn't great."
He continued scrolling, and a new section expanded: "Defense Converter?" he read aloud. As the detailed description appeared, line by line—like a slow, cruel joke—Accel froze. His brain caught up about three lines too late. "Wait—minus one hundred percent?!" He frantically scrolled back up. "I have zero strength? My attack is only ten?!"
[System Notice: You are now fully optimized for defensive growth.]
Accel glared at the screen. "Optimized?! I can't even kill a level-one corrupted fish with this!" The interface flashed another prompt: [Correction: You can endure the corrupted fish attacks indefinitely.]
He groans, dragging his hands down his face. "Yeah, fantastic. I'll be the first player in history to outlast an enemy to death."
But then, as he looks back at the numbers—
500 Defense.
200 Health.
Only Level 0.
He exhales slowly.
"…Still. Five hundred Defense at level zero, huh?"
A grin tugs at the corner of his mouth. "Guess I really am built different."

In reality, Accel doesn't realize that this status window will transform him into the toughest player, boasting high HP, DEF, and Stamina for a level 0 character. The reason is straightforward: typically, classes in the Tank category start with 100 HP, 10 MP, and 50 SP, while their DEF begins at 50. In Accel's case, his HP, SP, and DEF are significantly higher, which means he won't take any damage from monsters that are usually recommended for players at level 15 and above. In fact, even a level one corrupted fish will inflict 0 damage on Accel, as his DEF is an impressive 500.
On the second day of the first week of June 2121, Accel announced to his family that he would be taking on actual missions instead of the usual tasks such as gathering, mining, or trading with merchants. He was eager to hunt sea monsters, as they offered significant rewards. With his mother's permission, Accel set off toward Turalis Isle #25, where the Guild House, Fishing Cross, was located. This small guild consisted of members specializing in various roles, including fishermen, hunters, and different types of combat classes.
When he arrived, Accel approached Receptionist Ray and said, "I want to take on this mission." He tapped the screen displaying a quest to hunt ten corrupted fish. Both Receptionist Ray and the other members of Fishing Cross knew Accel well; he had been part of the guild for three years, primarily focusing on gathering, mining, and trading missions. However, this time he was eager to tackle hunting missions.
"Accel, I can't allow you to take on hunting missions without your student-license player card," she began. Before she could finish, Accel handed her his student-license player card. She was a bit shocked, and the rest of the guild erupted in celebration as Accel unlocked his class job and specialization.
After a brief celebration, the Fishing Cross Guild accepted Accel's request to hunt ten corrupted fish. As a gesture of support, the guild gifted Accel a complete set of leather armor to protect him during his mission. However, Accel noticed something off: when he wore the armor, it only increased his HP and DEF by 10 points. He approached Receptionist Ray to clarify, asking, "Is this normal for the armor's stats?"
Ray responded, "Yes, Accel. That's typical for this armor."
Confused, Accel asked another question, "Is it normal for a Tank to have 200 HP and 500 DEF at level 0?" Ray took a moment to think before replying, "That's impossible. Typically, different types of Tank Class Jobs start with HP ranging from 50 to 100, and DEF usually begins around 50. There are no records of a Tank Class Job starting with 200 HP and 500 DEF. If that were the case, it would shock the entire world. Why do you ask, Accel?"
Realizing that revealing his status window could cause problems for himself and others, Accel quickly replied, "Oh, I was just curious if there's a Tank Class Job with those stats."
After that, Accel left the Fishing Cross Guild and made his way to the location where the corrupted fish typically appeared. These corrupted fish are usually found in the waters north of Turalis Isle #25, where the corrupted corals are located. The corruption in this area has occurred due to a small dimensional gate situated in the coral seas between Turalis Isle #24 and #25. This gate has infused the corals with mana, causing them to turn a dark blue color as they absorb more and more energy, which in turn corrupts the entire area, including the living beings inhabiting the coral seas.
Corrupted fish inflict 1 point of damage per bite, but the real challenge lies in their corrosive attacks. It is recommended that players take on this mission as Tanks or Healers. Tanks can rely on their defense to mitigate damage, while Healers can buff and heal other combat classes to prevent being debuffed by the corrosive attacks. The recommended level for this mission is between 1 and 5.
