Seven years later, in the year 2070, while the world was engrossed in developing magic theories, aura theories, and technological advancements, a shocking event occurred. An individual, a citizen of the United Earth Federation, received his class job titled Astromechanic. When he explained to the receptionist the abilities associated with this job, the entire world went into an uproar. An Astromechanic is a magitech technician responsible for maintaining ships, satellites, and space-linked systems using mana-engineering. This meant he also had the capability to create spaceships designed with both advanced technology and mana-engineering. As a result, he was immediately sent to SPHERE (Space Program for Human Exploration, Research, and Expansion).
At the same time, the Human Preservation Front developed four power systems that could rival the class jobs and their abilities. The first was the Augments System, which provided physical and technological enhancements. The second was the Protocols System, designed for command-based functions that users could activate manually. The third was the Modules System, meant for installing subroutines into their gear or bodies. Lastly, the Sequences System orchestrated coordinated action scripts that combined human and machine efficiency. These systems were based on human capabilities and technology, entirely unrelated to magic and aura, creating a rivalry between them. The Class Allocation Terminal randomly selected class jobs, while the four systems heavily relied on technological advancement.
Between 2070 and 2080, an increasing number of notable individuals took on class jobs that would advance civilization. Some of these roles included:
Starseer: Individuals in this position could read cosmic alignments to predict future events and probabilities.
Aether Navigator: This role involved traversing and mapping dimensional space, becoming essential for future space exploration and terraforming efforts.
Gravity Engineer: These engineers designed gravitational stabilizers and anti-mass drones, which helped protect allies and manipulate terrain, leading to the emergence of floating islands and cities on Earth.
Void Warlock: This class was able to draw magic from the endless void between the stars, resulting in the creation of the Erebus Void Prison, regarded as the most inescapable facility due to its construction within a Void Realm.
Astra Teleporter: Individuals with this ability could teleport to different locations they had already seen. This technology became accessible to the public but was heavily guarded against hostile or dangerous threats.
These advancements and more contributed to significant progress in civilization during that decade. Many notable individuals are expected to continue making an impact in the near future. By the year 2080, a moon base has been completed, featuring three official cities, each governed by one of the three global factions: the Ascension Alliance, the Human Preservation Front (HPF), and the Black Reign Syndicate. At this time, the moon is 80% terraformed, making it completely habitable for humans. A major celebration marks the milestone of over 10 billion people living on Earth and 160 million on the moon.
Additionally, there is a new project underway to build a massive tactical satellite positioned between the Moon and Earth, as well as between Earth and Mars. This satellite will include a spaceship dockyard and a teleportation sector to facilitate easy travel, whether for emergencies or for leisurely journeys, allowing travelers to admire the beauty of space as they journey from the planets to the satellite and back.
In the year 2090, a decade has passed since the completion of the Mars Terraforming Project, which has allowed over 50 million people to reside there. However, 2090 also witnessed a catastrophic event when the Human Preservation Front seized control of several Class Allocation Terminals. Instead of using them, they kept the public from accessing these vital resources, ultimately leading to a catastrophic explosion. This explosion created a massive dimensional gate that unleashed terrifying monsters and unknown beings upon the world.
Fortunately, because most of the population had gained significant powers, only a few million people lost their lives during the Dimensional Gate Breakout. The aftermath revealed that a total of 50 dimensional gates had now opened, inviting exploration. This discovery brought both opportunities and challenges, as it offered access to various sectors filled with dangerous creatures but also abundant resources, including Mithril, Adamantite, Aether Magic Cores, and specialized magical minerals that could transform ordinary minerals into magical ones.
The explosion of the Class Allocation Terminal, while tragic, became a double-edged sword that greatly impacted the world and drew the attention of three global factions. They discovered that if the Class Allocation Terminal is not used at least once, it transforms into a dimensional gate. This alarming fact was based on studies by the Human Preservation Front, which did not anticipate this outcome.
As a result, the majority of the Human Preservation Front seized control of most of the dimensional gates, being the ones who originally obtained them despite not utilizing them. However, because of the dangers posed by these gates, they transferred the remaining ones to the Black Reign Syndicate. This move effectively barred the United Earth Federation and the Ascension Alliance from accessing these dimensional gates.
Soon after, the corrupted officials of the United Earth Federation revealed their true intentions by attacking the Human Preservation Front in an attempt to take control of some of the dimensional gates. In response to this aggression, the Human Preservation Front and the Black Reign Syndicate temporarily joined forces to defend the gates against the United Earth Federation and the Ascension Alliance. This alliance ultimately led to the outbreak of the first global war.
Before the first global war began, the three factions, along with the United Earth Federation (UEF), devised an innovative idea for how to conduct the war. They introduced the first-ever MagiTech Virtual World. The purpose of this virtual environment was to minimize their power struggles and maintain the safety of the real world, especially given the threat of monsters and unknown beings attacking Earth once again.
The concept shocked the entire world, marking the inception of the first-ever Simulated Virtual War involving the three global factions and the UEF. This unique approach meant that no casualties would occur; the simulation was based on territorial warfare.
The rules were simple: two teams—the United Earth Federation and the Ascension Alliance—faced off against the Human Preservation Front and the Black Reign Syndicate. They aimed to conquer multiple territories mapped onto a medium-scale version of the actual Earth. To win control over a territory, a team had to conquer one of the designated dimensional gates and successfully defend it for one day within the Simulation World.
Due to this innovative approach, the first global conflict occurred without any loss of life. Although it was a war, the developer and the team behind this idea became famous. The Simulation World is now being used to address real-world problems as well as for entertainment and gaming, giving rise to what is known as the Virtual Simulation of Earth. This simulation has two versions: the first is designed for real-world applications, while the second allows for unlimited imagination. As a result of these developments, we entered a new era in the year 2100, where a central character will emerge in a world that blends magic and technology.
