The sky was covered in dark black clouds, raining heavily.
A room was cluttered with garbage, dirty clothes scattered across the bed, and empty instant food packages strewn everywhere. In front of a computer sat a young boy, about 20 years old, slouched on a chair, dark circles under his eyes as if he hadn't slept in days.
On the computer, he was playing multiple games at once, but he wasn't really doing anything—he just stared at the screens intensely. All he noticed was the money increasing in each game. He sat idle, watching the numbers rise, and muttered,
"Is it possible to earn money like this?"
This young man was Arin, 21 years old. He had been rich just a few months ago, but everything had collapsed. His family business had gone bankrupt, and as time passed, everyone left his side. Now, he was a shut-in who barely left his room.
His family had been in an accident but, fortunately, survived and were now in the hospital. Arin and his family were surviving on the money he had left after selling all his property. Yet, even now, he just stared at his games, mesmerized by the rising numbers.
"Money, money, money. It's always about money. Everything needs money," he muttered in frustration, slamming the keyboard. "If I could earn money just like in the game…"
Suddenly, his computer was struck by lightning. As Arin was in contact with it, a high-voltage shock surged through his body. He began to faint.
"So this is how I'll die… this pathetic death," he thought as darkness took him. But he couldn't leave his family in the hospital alone. He resisted, thinking if only he had enough money to ensure their treatment, maybe he could die without struggle… but still, he fainted.
When he opened his eyes, he was no longer in his messy room. He didn't recognize the surroundings. He looked around and realized he was in a hospital, the same one as his family's. As he took everything in, a police officer entered the room. As he processed everything, a police officer entered the room. Arin was confused.
"Mr. Arin, do you remember being struck by lightning? Are you experiencing any discomfort?" the officer asked.
Suddenly, Arin remembered. "Yes, I remember everything," he said, surprised. But strangely, even though he had been struck by lightning, he felt no pain. Instead, he felt refreshed; this was something he hadn't expected.
Then, something extraordinary happened. A blue screen appeared in front of his eyes with a message:
