Chapter 1 - chapter 1. New life, New beginning

Disclaimer: I don't own dragon ball's and Naruto. This book was created base on the original setting of the anime series.

The roar of the Ten-Tails was a sound etched into Sakura Haruno's very soul. Dust and debris rained down, the air thick with the acrid scent of scorched earth and death. Her own body screamed in protest, every muscle fiber tearing, but her mind was a laser focus. Naruto and Sasuke were faltering, their last reserves tapped. Madara's next attack would be the end.

"Concentrate! Just a little more!" she rasped, her hands glowing with brilliant green chakra, channeling the last, desperate strength of a hundred seals into a colossal barrier, reinforcing Obito's dissolving shield. But it wasn't enough. The sheer force was overwhelming. Cracks spiderwebbed across the shimmering dome.

"Sakura-chan, no!" Naruto's voice, raw with anguish, pierced the din.

A shard of rock, massive and jagged, tore through the barrier, aimed directly for their exhausted forms. There was no time to react, no one else to move.

With a final, desperate surge, Sakura hurled herself forward. Her green-infused fist, imbued with every scrap of chakra she had, met the rock. It shattered, but the impact was devastating. Another, larger chunk followed, propelled by Madara's malicious intent.

A searing pain, a blinding flash. She felt her body tear, felt the chakra reserves empty, felt life drain from her as if a plug had been pulled. Her last thought was of Naruto, of Sasuke, of the village… of peace. Her work was done.

Then, nothing. An infinite, echoing void. No pain, no sound, no light. Just pure, serene emptiness. For a moment, she was content.

The peace shattered like glass. A jarring lurch, a sudden rush of air, and a suffocating pressure. Her eyes snapped open.

She was falling.

Not through a void, but through a bright, sun-drenched sky. Below, a patchwork of lush green forests, towering mountains, and a winding river shimmered. Her body felt… tiny. Fragile. Panic flared. She instinctively tried to gather chakra, but found only… emptiness. A different kind of emptiness, though. An unfamiliar energy pulsed beneath her skin, foreign yet potent.

She hit the ground with a painful thud, rolling down a gentle incline of soft grass and wildflowers. Her breath caught in her throat. Every limb ached, but nothing seemed broken. She scrambled to her feet, her child-sized hands brushing off dirt. Her vision blurred, then focused. What was happening? This wasn't the battlefield. This wasn't even her world.

Then, a faint, translucent blue screen flickered into existence before her.

[WELCOME, HOST. POWERHOUSE SYSTEM INITIATED.]

Sakura stared. A system? What was this, some kind of genjutsu?

[USER: SAKURA HARUNO (CHILD FORM)] [CURRENT LOCATION: EARTH (DRAGON BALL DIMENSION)] [ENERGY TYPE: KI (UNREFINED)] [AVAILABLE SYSTEMS: [BASIC NINJUTSU (LOCKED)], [MEDICAL NINJUTSU (LOCKED)], [SUPER STRENGTH (LOCKED)], [CHAKRA CONTROL (KI ADAPTATION) - LEVEL 1]] [CURRENT OBJECTIVE: SURVIVE AND ADAPT. MASTER KI CONTROL (BASIC).]

Her mind reeled. Dragon Ball Dimension? Ki? Regressed to a child? This was real. Every fiber of her being screamed denial, but the evidence was overwhelming. She was alive, somehow, in a new world, a child again, with a strange system telling her what to do. The trauma of the war, the sacrifice, the loss… it all crashed down, threatening to overwhelm her. But years of ninja training, years of being forced to make hard decisions under pressure, kicked in. Panic was useless. Adapt. Survive.

She took a deep, shaky breath, tasting the fresh, clean air. It was so different from the pungent, metallic scent of battle. She needed food. Water. And a place to hide. This world, whatever it was, felt powerful. She could sense faint, almost imperceptible flickers of immense energy far away, energies that dwarfed even the strongest Kage.

She started walking, guided by instinct, following a faint trail. Her limbs felt strangely light, her new body surprisingly resilient, though utterly weak compared to her adult self. She focused on the system's first objective: "Master Ki Control (Basic)." She tried to feel the energy, pushing it, pulling it, just like she would with chakra. It was different. Rawer. Like a wild river compared to a tamed stream.

Hours passed. The sun began its descent, painting the sky in fiery hues of orange and purple. Hunger gnawed at her. She heard a rustle in the bushes and froze, instinctively ready to fight, despite her tiny form.

A woman emerged from the treeline, carrying a basket of wild greens. She had dark hair, pulled back in a bun, and wore a simple, practical dress. Her face, however, was etched with a profound sadness that echoed Sakura's own recent grief. It was Chichi.

Chichi had been searching for herbs, but mostly, she'd been trying to fill the gaping hole Gohan had left when Piccolo had taken him for training. Every day without her son was a quiet agony. She missed his laughter, his inquisitive questions, the sheer presence of him in their small home.

Her eyes, weary with longing, fell upon the small, pink-haired child sitting by the path. The girl was covered in dirt, her clothes torn, but her eyes – those emerald eyes held an ancient, stubborn light that belied her age. She was trying to lift a fallen branch, one that was clearly too heavy for her, grunting with effort. And yet, there was a strange, faint glow to her hands.

Chichi gasped, startled. The child looked up, startled herself, her eyes wide and wary.

"Oh, my goodness! Child, what are you doing all alone out here?" Chichi hurried forward, her sadness momentarily forgotten, replaced by concern. "Are you hurt? Where are your parents?"

Sakura froze, mind racing. She couldn't tell this kind woman the truth. "I… I don't know," she whispered, her voice surprisingly small and childlike. "I… woke up here." Her stomach growled loudly, betraying her.

Chichi's heart ached. The girl was clearly lost, perhaps an orphan. She looked so small, so utterly alone. So much like a lost Gohan would have looked. A surge of protective warmth flooded her. "You must be hungry! Come here, sweetheart." She offered a piece of dried fruit from her basket.

Sakura hesitated, then took it, devouring it in two bites. The sweetness burst on her tongue, a luxury she hadn't experienced since… well, since her last meal before the war.

"You can't stay out here by yourself," Chichi said gently, her voice firm with motherly concern. "Come with me. You can stay at my house. We have plenty of room." She reached out a hand.

Sakura looked at the outstretched hand, then at the kind, worried expression on Chichi's face. She could sense a strength in the woman, a latent Ki signature, far beyond what any civilian she knew in her old world possessed. But her eyes held no malice, only compassion. This was an opportunity. A safe haven.

She took Chichi's hand. It felt warm, calloused, and surprisingly comforting.

Life with Chichi was… strange. The house was simple, nestled in the quiet mountains, surrounded by nature. Chichi was a whirlwind of activity, cooking, cleaning, fussing over Sakura with a fierce, almost suffocating love. She called Sakura "Pinky" at first, then, after much thought, decided on "Rose" – a name Sakura didn't hate. It was different, a new beginning. She never pushed for answers about Sakura's past, simply accepting the girl's quiet "I don't remember" with a sigh and a renewed determination to care for her.

While Chichi was busy, Sakura trained. The system was a constant, shimmering presence in the corner of her vision.

[OBJECTIVE: MASTER KI CONTROL (BASIC). REWARD: UNLOCK BASIC NINJUTSU (KI-INFUSED).]

She practiced in the secluded forest behind the house, mimicking the leaf-sticking exercise, trying to channel Ki to her feet. It was harder than chakra. Ki felt wild, untamed, prone to bursting outwards rather than adhering. But she persevered, driven by the memory of her past failures and her resolve to never be useless again.

Slowly, painstakingly, she felt the Ki begin to obey. It hummed beneath her skin, a low thrum that grew steadier with each passing day.

[KI CONTROL (KI ADAPTATION) - LEVEL 5! OBJECTIVE COMPLETE!] [SKILL UNLOCKED: BASIC NINJUTSU (KI-INFUSED)!] [NEW OBJECTIVE: REPLICATE A BASIC NINJUTSU. CURRENT SYSTEMS AVAILABLE: [BASIC NINJUTSU (KI-INFUSED)], [CHAKRA CONTROL (KI ADAPTATION) - LEVEL 5]]

She closed her eyes, forming the familiar hand signs for a Kawarimi. "Kawarimi no Jutsu!" she whispered, channeling Ki through her hands, focusing on the mental image of a small rock replacing her. A puff of smoke, and she was standing a few feet away, a rock now occupying her previous spot.

A thrill coursed through her. It worked! Her ninjutsu, fueled by Ki, was possible!

Next, she focused on strength. She remembered Tsunade, her mentor, smashing opponents with a single blow. "Super Strength (Ki-enhanced)," the system called it.

[OBJECTIVE: TRAIN PHYSICAL STRENGTH USING KI. REWARD: UNLOCK SUPER STRENGTH (KI-ENHANCED).]

She found an isolated clearing and began. Punching trees, focusing Ki into her fists. Her small body ached, but the system provided continuous feedback, nudging her, guiding her. Days turned into weeks. She noticed her strikes growing more impactful, the trees groaning under her small, Ki-infused punches.

One afternoon, Chichi was struggling to move a massive boulder that blocked their path to a berry patch. "Oh, dear! This thing is too heavy even for me!" she sighed, wiping sweat from her brow.

Sakura, watching from a distance, felt a familiar surge of Ki. Without thinking, she walked over, placed her small hands on the boulder, and pushed. With a grunt, and a faint green glow around her hands, the boulder shifted, then slowly, agonizingly, rolled out of the way.

Chichi stared, mouth agape. "Rose! How… how did you do that?! M-My goodness! You're almost as strong as Gohan!" She laughed, a genuine, joyful laugh that made Sakura's heart ache with a strange mix of gratitude and longing for her own past. Chichi attributed it to childish strength, a quirky trait, not understanding the true nature of the power.

Sakura also began to dabble in her most crucial skill: medical ninjutsu.

[OBJECTIVE: MASTER MEDICAL APPLICATION OF KI. REWARD: UNLOCK MEDICAL NINJUTSU (KI-ENHANCED).]

She practiced on small, injured animals, carefully mending their broken bones, sealing their wounds with a gentle, green Ki. The animals, sensing no threat, tolerated her touch. The feeling of healing, of mending, was a balm to her own wounded soul. It was a purpose, a quiet declaration that she was still Sakura, the world's greatest medical-nin.

One evening, as the stars glittered like scattered diamonds in the inky sky, Chichi told her stories of Goku, her husband, and Gohan, their son. Of their incredible strength, their ability to fly, to shoot energy blasts. Sakura listened, wide-eyed, the scale of this new world slowly sinking in. Power in this dimension was on a cosmic level. Her Ki-infused ninjutsu was strong, yes, but it was just a tiny flicker compared to the suns that were Gohan or Goku.

A new resolve hardened within her. She wouldn't just be adequate. She wouldn't just survive. She would master this system, pull every single technique and power from it, until she was strong enough to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the heroes of this world. She had died once, protecting her village. Now, she had a second chance, and a new home, a new surrogate mother, who had given her kindness when she had nothing.

The system pulsed, a silent promise. The

Path to the Strength of a Hundred Seals, the Eight Gates, Sage Mode, even a Ki-infused Susano'o – it was all there, waiting to be unlocked. Sakura Haruno, a child with the heart of a warrior and the will of a Kunoichi, looked up at the moon. Her journey had only just begun.
