A living undead, a creature who devours blood, humans being their favourite.
These beings lived long before religions was known, different cultures wrote about them as ruthless, mindless, cold-blooded killers who sought blood of the livings.
Earliest known activities that were recorded were in the early 16th century though not enough evidence seems to validate this finding.
At the 17th century people who were fascinated by the story or rumors began to search for them and not long after the first novel that was written about them was published.
In modern media they are known or called vampires, their depictions were mostly pale, thin, charismatic beings who can bewitch people through their eyes and thrall their victims with the use of their voice.
Which is full of bullshit because I've seen so many grotesque looking vampires in the past. And most of them hunts human mindlessly.
I have to be honest, I never really liked living as a human, less a vampire at that. I would have preferred being killed than being turned into this blood lusting creature. But soon I'll have my freedom, just wait for me my Sire.
After all your time from this mortal plane is near.
