Chapter 114: Avada Kedavra

---Harry POV---

"How long was I unconscious?" Harry muttered as he blinked, realizing he was lying on the cold floor. His head throbbed, and his vision swam before slowly coming back into focus.

"Great Master Harry Potter, please don't move! You are still..." Dobby began, but Harry cut him off.

"Where's Dudley?" Harry asked sharply, forcing himself to sit up. His scar burned again, but it was bearable, maybe he had simply grown used to the pain by now.

"Master Dudley is fighting them!" Dobby squeaked, his face filled with panic and worry.

Harry clenched his jaw and tried to stand. "Then I have to help him, Dobby."

"But Great Master Harry Potter, your body..." Dobby started, only for Harry to interrupt again.

"Dudley's in danger. I can't just leave him alone."

His hand went to his wand holster, drawing it out ready to face Voldemort. Before the battle began, Dudley had explained the plan clearly, Harry would cast a spell directly at Voldemort, forcing a Priori Incantatem effect, while Dudley would take that moment to strike from behind.

But something had gone wrong. Harry had blacked out and now Dudley was facing Voldemort alone.

"But master," said Dobby.

Harry used Petrificus Totalus so the house elf won't do something stupid like knocking him out, knowing Dobby character well and he feel this is what Dobby will done. He had even injured him in second year forcing him to Madam Pomfrey.

"Please… don't die," Harry whispered, steadying himself before limping toward the echoing thunder of explosions outside.

When he reached the living room, his breath caught in his throat. Dudley stood amidst a storm of chaos, surrounded by Death Eaters, dozens of them being strike by the thunder Each movement he made was a blur of light and he teleported on the battlefield, his body are like a stone and what scary is every time he moved, several Death Eaters fell lifeless to the ground being struck to the ground

Harry froze, awe mixing with dread. He knows Dudley are strong because of the duel with Professor Snape, but he didn't know Dudley are this strong.

He scanned the battlefield for Voldemort but didn't find where Voldemort location and then he suddenly feel it.

A flash of green went towards him, he wanted to dodge but couldn't, the green curse had only one meaning, it is The Killing Curse.

Before Harry could even react, the world tilted. Pain flared through his scar, and everything went black again, his body was hit by the killing curse before he unconsciouss.

---Dudley POV---

Dudley attacked madly, striking down everything on his path. Only five Death Eaters remained when he noticed Voldemort looking toward something behind him. Dudley followed the Dark Lord gaze and froze.

Harry was standing there.

Across the battlefield, Amelia Bones was also staring at the scene. Her wand was raised, ready to shield against any incoming attack, but she hesitated, unsure whether to intervene or not. She had seen Dudley drinking something and suddenly his body turned into stone and there is some strange thunder on top of Dudley.

Her battle instict told her that Dudley would be more powerful if he is alone and she will become burden if she joined the fight.

Harry, however, looked dazed. He was turning his head left and right as though searching for someone. Then, before anyone could react, Voldemort raised his wand and aimed directly at him.

"Avada Kedavra!"

The flash of green light struck Harry squarely in the chest. Dudley didn't move to stop it, he couldn't because he knows the only way to destroy Voldemort Horcrux is by Voldemort himself destroying it. This was the only way to destroy the Horcrux inside Harry body without killing his cousin.

The spell hit. Harry fell limp to the ground. Voldemort staggered, his expression contorting in confusion before his body collapsed.

For a heartbeat, silence filled the air.

Then chaos returned. The remaining Death Eaters screamed in panic, some believing their master had triumphed, others realizing something had gone terribly wrong. Dudley watched as Voldemort's body hit the dirt. His sharp gaze flicked between the Dark Lord and Harry, when he saw Amelia running toward Harry and kneeling beside him, checking for a pulse. He used remaining time to search for Nagini.

Then the familiar blue text appeared before his eyes:

[Congratulations! Fourth Horcrux has been destroyed.]

[The vessel has survived.]

[Reward: Voldemort's Lifetime Mastery of Dark Arts.]

Dudley blinked, momentarily stunned. He didn't question the system, he had no time for that. Harry Horcrux had always been the hardest to deal with and somehow winning Voldemort master of Dark Arts is worth it. He mentally commanded the system to withhold the reward. Now wasn't the time to lose focus.

Suddenly, a flash of bright light appeared roughly a hundred meters away. Dudley's eyes narrowed. The source of that light, he recognized it instantly, it came from the Iron Mage armor's lightsaber.

He saw in his minimap and saw Kreacher icon flashing near Nagini. Without hesitation, he disengaged and sprinted toward the signal, using Swift Move to instantly appear on Kreacher Location.

The Death Eaters hesitated, momentarily confused as Dudley vanished from their sight. Some turned to check on their master and found Voldemort still breathing, unconscious but alive. Relief rippled through their ranks.

Meanwhile, Kreacher was locked in a brutal duel. He had already tried twice to decapitate Nagini with his lightsaber. Both times, the snake severed head reattached itself, the dark magic restoring her in mere seconds, this is Horcrux it can't kill those who had become horcurx.

When Kreacher saw Master Dudley approaching, he stepped aside immediately. He knew this was beyond his ability.

Dudley's expression hardened. He raised his wand and channeled his magic, summoning the fiery serpent of Fiendfyre. The cursed flames twisted through the air, devouring Nagini completely her body disintegrating into ash.

[Congratulations! Fifth Horcrux has been destroyed.]

[Reward: Parseltongue Unlocked.]

Dudley exhaled sharply, accepting the new ability without hesitation. With the fifth Horcrux gone, Voldemort was weaker than ever. He turned back toward the battlefield, using Swift Move again to return to his previous position.

But as he appeared, Voldemort body stirred. The Dark Lord's eyes opened.

Gasps erupted among the remaining Death Eaters. "He lives! The Dark Lord lives!" Bellatrix cried in mad delight.

Voldemort pushed himself upright, still pale, his breath uneven. "Did I… kill Harry Potter?" he demanded.

"Master, your curse struck him! He fell over there!" Bellatrix pointed toward Harry's still form, where Amelia stood protectively in front of him.

Voldemort red eyes narrowed. His lips curved into a faint smirk but it faltered when Harry suddenly woken up too.

"Impossible…" Voldemort hissed.

Before he could move, the air was filled with the sound of dozens of Apparitions just outside the broken wards. Dumbledore had arrived alongside McGonagall, Flitwick, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Mad-Eye Moody and a squadron of Aurors and Order of the Phoenix members.

"Fall back!" Voldemort commanded, fury and calculation flashing across his face. "We are not ready for this battle."

The Death Eaters immediately obeyed. Those who could still move lifted the Anti-Apparition wards. In seconds, one by one, they Disapparated into the night, leaving behind scorched ground, broken stone, and the ruin from the battle.
