Chapter 113: Kreacher VS Nagini
The moment Dudley turned his back on him, Voldemort eyes narrowed with fury.
"Do you think you can ignore me?" the Dark Lord hissed.
His wand snapped upward. The air exploded with black fire.
Dudley barely rolled aside as the curse hit, a twisting coil of shadow scorching the ground where he had stood a heartbeat ago. Before he could recover, a second and third spell followed , each one laced with dark power strong enough to shatter the manor's outer walls.
Every pulse of Voldemort magic tore through the air like a violent storm.
Good thing my Gamer Mind is active, Dudley thought grimly. Without it, he would've panicked, the sheer pressure of Voldemort aura was suffocating, pressing him toward the edge of collapse but because of his game mode, he stood tall and easily dodge his attack.
Dudley flicked his wand upward. "Protego Diabolica!"
A ring of blue fire burst around him, roaring to life just in time to block a streak of green light that disintegrated half the field behind him. The flame not only devoured the incoming spells but wrapped around Dudley like a shield, flickering beneath Voldemort relentless assault.
Moving swiftly, Dudley slammed his hand to the ground. The stone beneath him rippled and rose, reshaping into a blade of jagged earth. He lunged and a Death Eater fell, his scream cut short as his head rolled across the dirt.
Gasps filled the air.
The Death Eaters erupted in fury.
From beside Voldemort, they surged forward, forgetting the unspoken rule that no one was allowed to interfere in their master duel. Their rage overpowered their fear.
"You may kill him," Voldemort said coldly, lips curling. "He deserve to be kill by you and I will help you too."
The Death Eaters advanced, and even Amelia frozen on the sidelines stepped forward in wanted to help. She just stunned, Dudley Dursley was holding his own against Voldemort. Mere 16 years old student manage to stand on ground against the wicked Dark Lord.
'Too many,' Dudley thought, eyes narrowing.
He opened his game interface and flicked through his inventory. Four shimmering vials appeared in his hand. potions that didn't exist in this universe.
No hesitation, he drink all of it
The Edurus Potion came first. It burned cold and metallic down his throat. His skin hardened, his muscles turned harder. The air around him shimmered as his body took on a stone-like resilience.
Then came the Maxima Potion and Focus Potion, flooding his veins with pure magic. His senses sharpened, his magic amplified.
Finally, he uncorked the Thunderbrew, a potion so volatile he could never use it with allies nearby. The name wasn't a metaphor. Thunder literally protecting him and it will also gonna attack nearby ally, that is why it need to be used in a fight one vs many.
When Dudley opened his eyes, they glowed white.
Round two.
A dozen curses screamed through the air. Dudley didn't wait. He moved.
His form blurred, a flash of motion faster than sight as he vanished from one spot and reappeared in the midst of the charging Death Eaters. The Thunderbrew ignited inside him, and the air itself detonated.
The explosion tore through the field. The nearest Death Eaters were obliterated, reduced to ash and scattered cloth. Edurus shielded Dudley's body from the worst of it, his hardened flesh withstanding the shockwaves and heat.
He reappeared again another detonation. Then another. Each swift move was followed by a thunderous blast.
One. Three. Nine. Eleven Death Eaters fell in less than thirty seconds, vaporized or shredded by storm and force.
Then the light in Dudley veins began to fade. The Thunderbrew effect was ending, its power lasting barely half a minute.
Across the field, Voldemort stared at the charred remains of his followers. The air around him darkened, his rage condensing into something palpable and terrible.
He raised his wand. "Crucio!"
The curse ripped forward but Dudley was already gone, sidestepping like a ghost.
He smirked, 'Isn't he ever gonna learn?'
---Kreacher POV---
After Master Dudley left him, Kreacher activated the Invisibility Rune.
His small frame shimmered and vanished from sight, leaving only a faint hum of magic in the air.
He had trained for this moment. The Desert Eagle, the commando drills, the boxing lessons, and above all, the Iron Mage combat routines... all of it had reshaped the frail old elf into something faster, stronger, and muscular. His body was now lean muscle and instinct.
Only one thought remained in his mind, his master's final order which is destroy Horcrux
Dudley had taught him about the Horcruxes, the cursed item that kept the Dark Lord still alive. The diary, tiara and the locket has been destroyed, the Ring and cup are not yet to be found and the snake.
He moved like a shadow through the smoldering ruins, searching for any trace of werewolves, trolls, or giants, the monstrous allies of Voldemort.
But then, the earth trembled, the air ignited in flashes of lightning and fire.
The duel between Master Dudley and Voldemort had begun and it was like nothing Kreacher had ever witnessed.
Even from afar, he felt the shockwaves. Spells collided in midair. Stones shattered and for a moment, the night sky looked horrifying.
Kreacher paused, awestruck. For three long minutes, he could only watch, frozen between pride and fear. Then, remembering his duty, he turned away. His master could handle himself, his task was to cleanse the monster enemies
But there was nothing, no wolves, no giants, no trolls, that means the Dark Lord only bring his death eater army.
Then he saw it.
A dark shape slithered through the grass, the snake was enormous, her scales gleaming like wet armor under the fractured moonlight. Kreacher froze, his heart seized with recognition.
Nagini, another horcrux
The one that should have been destroyed.
He leapt forward and swung light saber. The blade sliced clean through the snake neck but the body didn't fall. Instead, black smoke poured from the wound, swirling like ink in water. The head hit the ground, then reattached itself as if nothing happen. Flesh knitted, bones fused, and within seconds the creature was whole again.
Kreacher eyes widened, The saber could pierce a werewolf's heart and melt through iron but it could not harm a Horcrux.
