Livestream?
Multiverse?
Past and future?
Hearing the cold, emotionless voice in their ears, Tony and the others were utterly stunned, their minds nearly grinding to a halt.
Something this unbelievable went far beyond their imagination.
What they didn't know was that everything happening inside this "livestream room" was being broadcast through the great screen in the sky—straight to Asgard and Kamar-Taj.
Even the announcements just now had been heard crystal clear by Odin, the Ancient One, and all the others.
At that moment, shock and dread swept through countless hearts.
Exclamations of disbelief rang out everywhere.
"Multiverse? What does that even mean?"
"Broadcasting the future? That's… that's impossible!"
"Hm?"
Odin's single eye narrowed sharply, his expression turning grave.
This mysterious system had not only snatched away his son right before his eyes—
it was now claiming it could broadcast the future!
Even as the All-Father, ruler of the Nine Realms, Odin himself could not peer into the future.
If this system truly possessed such an ability, then just how unimaginably powerful was "it"?
Kamar-Taj.
"The future???"
Mordo gasped, turning his head instinctively toward the Ancient One.
"Master, could this be the Eye of Ag—"
The Ancient One lifted a hand, silencing him, her face calm as still water.
Then, raising her right hand, she formed a strange mudra in the air.
At once, the Eye of Agamotto hanging around her neck began to spin, radiating a mysterious green glow.
But then—her eyes widened, and a soft murmur slipped from her lips.
"…How is this possible?"
She had just activated the Time Stone, seeking to peer into the future.
Yet all she saw was chaos.
Ever since the great screen had appeared, the future of this universe had turned into a blur of uncertainty—completely unreadable.
In other words, from this moment onward, the Ancient One had no idea what would happen next.
"Incredible…"
She drew in a deep breath, her heartbeat quickening despite herself.
Now she was certain: the system that had abducted Stephen Strange definitely possessed dominion over the domain of time.
And more terrifying still—
it had suppressed the Time Stone itself, preventing it from functioning!
That was simply inconceivable.
And then she remembered the words from the system's announcement: "the Multiverse."
A wave of deep unease welled up within her.
Could the hand behind all this… truly belong to a being of multiversal level?
Or perhaps… something even higher?
That would be catastrophic.
A multiversal-level being could not only travel freely across infinite parallel universes—
they could create or destroy countless universes at will.
And a being beyond even that… their power was so vast that words could not begin to describe it.
Just then, the cold, mechanical voice sounded again:
[Now inviting special guests to join the livestream chat group!]
[Thor has joined the livestream chat group!]
[Mordo has joined the livestream chat group!]
"Livestream chat group?"
Inside the strange, empty "otherworldly livestream room," Tony and the others were still utterly baffled.
Suddenly, a massive projection screen appeared before them. At its base, scrolling messages began to roll across the display:
[Thor: Loki! I can see you on the screen!]
[Thor: Don't be afraid, Loki! Father and I will bring you back to Asgard soon!]
[Loki Odinson: Afraid? Of what? And for the record, I never asked you to save me…]
[Tony Stark: Wait… we're sending messages onto the screen just by thinking? That's… weird.]
[Mordo: Thor? Loki? Are you saying you're gods of Asgard?]
[Stephen Strange: Master Mordo, do you actually know these people?]
[Peter Parker: Gods? You mean real gods exist in this world? ]
[Mordo: Well… you could think of them as a kind of extraterrestrial beings with superpowers.]
[Loki Odinson: Mortals, do not use your feeble minds to define what it means to be a god!]
At that chaotic moment, the great screen shifted, showing a new scene.
[Now playing: *Avengers Infinity Way – "The Coming of Thanos"!]
"Thanos?"
Odin's brow furrowed deeply.
As All-Father of the Nine Realms, one of his duties was protecting them from external threats.
Years ago, Thanos had once tried to invade Earth. Back then, Odin himself had driven him back.
So the Mad Titan was no stranger to him.
If this system was truly livestreaming visions of the future… did that mean Thanos would rise again to wreak havoc?
[In the depths of space, two starships cross paths.]
[The smaller vessel appears unarmed, desperately pleading not to be attacked.]
["Our crew are Asgardian civilians! This is not a warship, please don't attack us!"]
[But the massive warship shows no mercy—it opens fire directly on the Asgardian ship.]
[The camera shifts, moving inside the Asgardian vessel.]
[Flames consume the halls. Bodies of Asgardians lie everywhere, the ship turned into a slaughterhouse.]
[The guardian Heimdall lies gravely wounded on the ground, barely able to move.]
[A towering, purple-skinned giant drags forward the battered, one-eyed Thor, gripping him with his right hand, and steps toward Loki.]
[On his left hand, a gauntleted fist gleams with the light of a purple gem.]
[Thanos sneers coldly: "Dread it. Run from it. Destiny arrives all the same. And now, it's here. Or should I say... I am."]
Silence.
Inside the Asgardian great hall, the atmosphere turned terrifyingly still.
Tens of thousands had gathered here for Thor's coronation—citizens of Asgard, Queen Frigga, and the Warriors Three, all in attendance.
But now, every face was frozen in the same expression:
Shock.
Horror.
Overwhelming disbelief.
Their bodies went stiff. Their breaths caught in their throats. Their eyes stared blankly at the screen, mouths agape, struck dumb.
The sheer impact of that horrific image was like nothing they had ever known.
On that doomed starship, Asgardians—proud, noble Asgardians—were slaughtered like cattle!
And Thor, their prince, and Heimdall, the mighty guardian… were drenched in blood, broken, on the brink of death!
After several heartbeats of dreadful silence, the hall erupted in a storm of voices.
"Odin above! What in the Nine Realms is happening?!"
"That purple monster… who is he?!"
"Could this truly be our future?!"
"No! Impossible! This has to be a nightmare!!!"
The terror was so great that even their voices broke into distorted shrieks.
A wave of uncontrollable fear surged through every Asgardian heart.
