'Pillars, dead worlds, and now Jin. It's all making me overthink it, it's frustrating. First, I was after that person who linked gates to earth. But then came the Sixteen Pillars, I thought I'd find some clue, but none. I have to meet him again, but how? I didn't even know where he lives at all.'
Jinhwan [Lee Jinhwan the protagonist.] let sigh as the warm water falls on his naked form, one after another, rolling down on his skin through his hair to his nose to his chin. A few drops fall on the floor, and some cling to his body as hot steam makes a fog in the bathroom.
Then his gaze fell on his right hand wrist, his watch was there as always, but something else was there on his index finger, it was a ring.
A golden ring, its warped around his index finger perfectly, it's plain, nothing flashy, just dull and has a few cracks. And just beside his watch, there's a thing of black fabric of cloth, more like a bracelet, it's not noticeable, it hides behind the watch.
Jinhwan raises his right arm gently as the water from the shower keeps falling on him. His eyes bore into that ring and that bracelet.
'Divine ring, it's not what I expected, but at least it gives me access to a once gate whenever I want. Just one flick of a finger and I'll it will make a gate. Well, that's what it says in that window, but it's not appearing in this world.'
'That window system is weird, but the way that window triggered saying leave in ten minutes, it was weird, more like a person. Even if there's someone how would they know about Reverse? If that system knows about that ability, why does no one who returned from once gate have it?'
'These relics can't be seen by anyone besides the person who's wearing them. I thought I'd received it in some flashy way, but it's just in my hand when I cross the Once gate.'
'Jin... Jin... Jin... [Lee Jin. Twin younger brother of Jinhwan.] Fuck it all, but how the hell did he have a kid? That little shit is six minutes younger than me. If I calculate Hana's age, she must be around five or maybe six years old. If I cut eighteen by five, it's... Thirteen?"
'...did he do these things when he was... Thirteen years? ENOUGH OVERTHINK!!'
Jinhwan turns off the shower as he grabs a towel to wipe his body.

After a few minutes, he walked out of the bathroom, standing at the doorway of the bathroom. His purple hair is dry and messy, covering his forehead. He was wearing a white T-shirt and dark blue track pants. He gets to change his clothes into something comfortable after a long time, even though it was only a few days, but wearing that school uniform was not that comfortable.
"Mama!! You're here too. Hana missed you."
Suddenly hearing Hana [Lee Hana. Daughter of Jin.] voice and calling someone Mama makes Jinhwan look towards the bed, where his eyes fall on Hana, who is hugging Suh-yeon tightly with her small hands.
Suh-yeon [Moon Suh-yeon. Childhood friend of Jinhwan.] Who just woke up from her sleep, is now looking confused, watching a small, adorable kid on her lap. Hana's crimson eyes are looking at her face. There's a huge smile on her face.
Suh-yeon turned her head around as she heard the bathroom door opening sound. As she saw Jinhwan, she froze, her expression blank, but there was a spark of light in her yellow eyes. As she was about to move.
"Don't Move."
Jinhwan said as he took a step closer to the bed, seeing Hana on her lap, her tiny hands wrapped around her, clinging to her as Se-young [Yoon Se-young. Girlfriend of Jinhwan.] She is still sleeping on the other side of the bed where Jinhwan placed her.
Jinhwan stopped as he reached close to the bed, and he continued.
"You just wake up, and Hana is on your lap. If you rush towards me, you'll just end up falling on your face."
As he spoke, he got on his knees as he looked at Hana.
"Hmm, you sure she is your Mama Hana?"
Jinhwan asked as he looked at Hana. Hana turned her head towards him and moved her head in a nod.
"Yes! Hana remembers Mama's face. Why do you ask Papa?"
Hearing Hana's words, Jinhwan didn't say anything, just smiled back. But Suh-yeon? She is in shock, she didn't say anything, nor did she move; she just stared at Hana, calling her Mama and Papa to Jinhwan. A smile appears on her face.
'What is it? I have a kid with Jinhwan? Did I wake up in the future? Is this how my life will be? I'm married to him.'
Suh-yeon had completely lost herself in her fantasy. Her smile just grew with each moment, her cheeks painted red now as she blushed.
'I WON!! See Se-young, I have claimed what's mine.'
"No you haven't."
A voice whispered from behind her back to her ear breaking her illusion in just a single second. Suh-yeon's smile disappeared as she looked at Se-young, who had just woken up from her sleep. Her golden eyes were looking at Suh-yeon's face as Se-young smiled.
"TaDa~ You're still in the present. Stop dreaming in daylight, Suh-yeon, specially not with someone else, man."
Se-young said as she stretched her hands behind her back.
"Wh-what do you mean?!! I wasn't dreaming of anything! And who said he is your man, you're not married to him, remember? He can break up with you anytime."
Suh-yeon replies, she looks startled by the sudden words of Se-young. Se-young leaned closer as she rested her chin on Suh-yeon's shoulder she looked at Hana.
"Keep dreaming."
It was clear from Se-young's tone that she was mocking Suh-yeon. Yet Suh-yeon just clutches her fist she didn't say anything.
"But who is this kid. Jinhwan? You told me it was just a child you found in that dead world..."
Se-young paused as her gaze fixed on Jinhwan, her tone changed.
"Don't tell... You really did with that girl you brought."
Her sharp eyes were looking at him.
Se-young looked at Jinhwan, her eyes widened slightly.
"Girl? Who did you bring with you? And who is this child?"
Jinhwan hopelessly froze on that spot like they're gaze captured him with cold chains. He forced him self slightly giving them a smile.
'This is going to be complicated.'
