'Ashh... If I tell Se-young about Jin, she would go deeper into the details. I had told her a different story to avoid conversation about him, and I can't let Hana know that I'm not her father. It would be difficult to handle her, at least not till I found him.'
Jinhwan was just smiling as Se-young and Suh-yeon looked at him curiously, waiting for his answer. Then his gaze fell on Hana, who had clung to Suh-yeon like a magnet to metal.
'She kept calling Suh-yeon Mama maybe her mother looks similar to Suh-yeon. It's a good thing, at least she wouldn't cling to me all the time. Suh-yeon would take care of her.'
Jinhwan looks at Suh-yeon as she is looking at him curiously to know about Hana then he looks at Se-young her gaze was cold, as if she would snap any moment she still has doubts about Koko and him done something in that world and have Hana which doesn't make any sense yet the flames of her jealousy keep getting wider thinking about it.
Se-young would be perfect for handling her since she has her younger siblings, she knows how to treat a kid. On the other hand, Suh-yeon doesn't like kids since they cry most of the time. It's like a miracle Suh-yeon didn't push Hana from her lap.'
Jinhwan sighed and then spoke.
"First of all don't look at me that way. Nothing happened between me and Koko."
He tapped his index finger on Se-young's forehead, making her close her eyes for a moment, then she opened them again, still her gaze clearly saying she is not convinced by his words. Jinhwan turned his face towards Hana and gently reached his hands around her, pulling her into his arms.
"Let's eat something you must be hungry."
He said in a playful tone as Hana clung to his arms with a smile on her face as she nodding to his words. Jinhwan stands up as he walks towards the door, leaving Se-young and Suh-yeon behind in the room.
"Which girl were you talking about?"
Suh-yeon spoke, her voice was not soft anymore, her eyes fixed on Se-young.
Se-young didn't say anything right away she paused for a moment before replying.
"No one."
Se-young said as she got up from the bed and walked towards the door to follow Jinhwan.
"Did you get replaced or something?"
Se-young stopped in the doorway as she heard Suh-yeon's words. Even without looking back, she could imagine her expression. She turned back, looking at Suh-yeon in bed.
"You're still dreaming go back to sleep."
With that, Se-young left the room. Suh-yeon clutched her grip tight on the bed sheet.
"Wait you little b... Forget it."
Suh-yeon got up and ran after Se-young as she left the room. She ran down the stairs, then looked around as she found Jinhwan sitting on a chair in the dining area. Hana was sitting on his lap, and Se-young was sitting beside him. On the other side of the dining table was Koko.
Koko was wearing a light yellow dress, her black skin was shiny as before, her silver eyes were glued to the meat on her plate, even though the table was filled with all different kinds of food, Koko just kept eating the meat.
Suh-yeon looked at Koko eating. She walked towards Koko as she stood beside Koko.
"So you're the alien that comes with Jinhwan."
Suh-yeon talks to herself. After a few moments of watching Koko Suh-yeon finally moved and reached out her hand as she touched Koko's left side cheek with her index finger and ran her finger on Koko's cheek before pulling back her hand as if she was trying to remove something.
Then Suh-yeon brought her finger near her face as she looked at her finger, but there was nothing on it.
"Oh, so it's your natural skin colour."
Jinhwan was taking a sip of water after feeding Hana as he heard Suh-yeon's words and saw how she touched Koko, he almost spat the water from his mouth in his glass again.
"Cough!! Hey Suh-yeon that's racist."
Just as Jinhwan said that Se-young smirked and spoke as she looked at Suh-yeon.
"What a spoiled girl."
Hearing Se-young's mocking words, Suh-yeon's face twisted in frustration, but she ignored her and looked at Jinhwan. Her tone was soft and gentle.
"I wasn't, it's just her skin is shiny, you know, so I thought it might be some kind of makeup or something, that's all."
Suh-yeon explains herself to Jinhwan, and hearing her words, he realizes Koko has shiny skin like silver dust has fallen on her.
"Mama."
Hana called Suh-yeon as she raised her hands towards Suh-yeon, waiting for her to pick her up.
Suh-yeon walks towards Jinhwan, then gently takes Hana's hands and pulls Hana into her own hands. Jinhwan looked at Suh-yeon's expression. He could tell from her expression that she didn't like Hana clinging to her.
'Maybe Suh-yeon cannot help but like the way Hana called her Mama. If I recall clearly, she won't even let her cousins come to her room, even though these kids behave well."
"Go on, Mama, feed your baby milk."
Se-young said in a teasy tone as she saw Suh-yeon's face, which did not look that good. And her words made her mood worse, but Suh-yeon didn't say a word. Suh-yeon pulled a chair and sat on it.
Suh-yeon pulled a dish, the same one that Jinhwan was feeding Hana just now, it's a sweet soup, as Suh-yeon dipped the spoon in the bowl and was about to feed Hana.
Hana covers her mouth.
"Hana doesn't wanna eat that. Hana needs something else."
Suh-yeon placed the spoon back in the bowl.
"So what you wanna eat?"
"Cake. Chocolate one."
Hana replied Suh-yeon looked around as she saw a maid walking downstairs.
"Tell Miss Cha to bake a Cake."
That maid nodded as she walked towards the other side of the kitchen. Suh-yeon then looked down at her lap to Hana, and then she said softly.
"It will take some time so do you wanna eat something or wait?"
"Hana will wait for the cake."
Haha replied her eyes filled with excitement.
Suh-yeon turned her head towards Koko as she spoke.
"What's your name?"
Koko didn't look up, she was continuously eating, her whole focus was on eating right now, and since she doesn't understand the language, she just ignored their words. Seeing Koko not answering Jinhwan thought.
'Now that I think about it. I have to do something about her language. I'll head to the lab and scan the watch, maybe I'll at least be able to know how the language translation works. And I have to collect the sword from that woman, she would have done the repair and upgrades I told her.'
"Her name is Koko. She probably wouldn't understand a single word of what you're saying, so let her eat. Oh and Se-young."
Jinhwan looks at Se-young.
"After eating, take Koko to her room if she needs something, try talking to her with signs. If it doesn't work, call me."
Jinhwan wipes his lips with a cotton handkerchief as he gets up from the chair. Seeing him getting up suddenly, Se-young asks.
"Where are you going?"
Jinhwan replies softly.
"I got some work to do. Bye-bye."
With that, Jinhwan walks towards the main door of the mansion.
