Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Almost immediately after the bell rang, students from Krenshaw high started coming out of thier classes. Some where excited and could not wait to get home, some had already promised to continue their conversation at home while minority of them acted cool about it and did not care. Among those student was a girl. She could be said to be rather beautiful. She had honeyblond hair that curled on her shoulders, a large eyes and thin lips.

She was not in the "excited-type part" neither was she in the "I don't-care-type". If she was to be put in a type it would have been a "I-am-sad-to-be-going-home type". It was not really noticeable, just faint. No student noticed it and did whatever it was they were doing.

While she was still lost in thought, a thin figure suddenly ran up to her. Joanne had always been her bestfriend since childhood. Unknown to her, while she was zoning out, her bestfriend had been staring at her from afar. She also noticed the sad look that had made its way to her face a while ago. With the thought of cheering up her friend, she walked up to her with a smile. "Everyone here is happy to go home after so long but why do you look like are are being sent to your grave. Surely it can't be that bad. I like you better when you smile. Pretty girl's don't frown.

Upon listening to her friend's remark she sighed and forced a smile on her face "See I am not frowning anymore. Are you happy now?" She asked her friend to which a nod was given as affirmation. They continued thier conversation till a black jeep pulled up signalling the girl to come over.

When she saw the jeep, she subconsciously stiffened before calming down, she bade farewell to her friend and walked up towards the car.
