Wan Shi Tong watched as the four wrote down a piece of knowledge each, and his brows deepened as he looked at Norrak. This person feels different from anyone else he has ever met.
'It's like he already knows me... But that should be impossible since I only met him today...' Wan Shi Tong thought in his mind with confusion as the mystery of Norrak bewildered him.
On the table, Norrak looked down at the parchment with a thoughtful look on his face. His eyes narrowed before he picked out a technique no one else knows in this world except for Katara and Ty Lee.

Name: Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist
Create a current of Chi in your body, and with every strike, direct that flow into your blows, increasing the burst of damage exponentially for an instant. The blows can go through layers of defence, breaking and rupturing organs with precise shockwaves. It can also be used defensively to redirect blows from your body or redirect the blows back to the attacker with twice the power.

Norrak finished writing. Of course, he didn't just write down the name and effects of the technique; he also wrote down the methods for training and the steps to become a master at it.
Norrak stood up and walked to Wan Shi Tong, who quickly took the scroll from his hand. Opening the scroll, Wan Shi Tong read through it carefully, making sure to remember every single detail.
"Hmm... Interesting technique you created. There is nothing else like it in the world, before or now," Wan Shi Tong commented with an impressed tone, though a flicker of disappointment flashed in his eyes.
Wan Shi Tong doesn't just want techniques or knowledge focused on fighting and violence. He hopes to gain something else besides this technique, solely for violence.
Norrak looked at Wan Shi Tong's expression and frowned briefly before taking another parchment. He was uncertain if Wan Shi Tong would share the technique he sought, which was centred on violence.
'Since he doesn't like violence, I will just write down the manufacturing method for creating electricity.' Norrak quickly got to work, and his hands and pen started writing.
A minute later, Norrak stood up and gave the parchment to Wan Shi Tong, whose eyes widened in shock. Yes, the world will use electricity in the future, but through lightning bending.
Not creating electricity by changing another energy and converting it into electricity. So what Norrak gave Wan Shi Tong has the potential to change the entire world.
"Hmm. What information do you want, child? Just state your request, and I shall answer with the utmost knowledge," Wan Shi Tong said as he placed the scroll behind him, and it vanished.
"I will wait until the three are finished before making my request," Norrak said with a smile as he sat down, leaning against a bookshelf while resting his hand on his knee.
A few minutes later, Ty Lee was the first to stand up beside Norrak. Her knowledge involved blocking Chi pathways, which made benders unable to move or use their bending abilities.
Wan Shi Tong was impressed, but not as much as Norrak's water stream rock-smashing fist. Chi blocking is a good combat technique, but it's not as good as the water stream rock-smashing fist.
"What is your request, girl?" Wan Shi Tong asked with curiosity as he looked down at Ty Lee. Ty Lee sighed before thinking for a moment about what she wanted.
'I usually wanted attention from people, and to be recognised... But I now feel appreciated by Nrrak, Katara and Toph... I know Mai and Azula are also there, but the previous three are even better,' Ty Lee thought with a smile as she looked at the floor.
Her friendship with Mai and Azula is not bad, not at all. Most of the time, Azula views her and Mai as subordinates before seeing them as friends, and that strains their relationship.
This was the sole reason he decided to leave Azula and Mai to go with Norrak. Sure, her likeness for Norrak was the main reason, but it does not mean it was the sole reason.
"Well... I don't really have anything to ask, but I guess... Is there a way for a non-bender to be able to gain bending?" Ty Lee asked Wan Shi Tong with a shrug. She knows her question might not have an answer, but she doesn't really mind.
It would be cool to gain superpowers, though, since all her crew got one.
"Hmm... I can see that you are not asking for this to be able to cause violence... There is a way," Wan Shi Tong replied, and Ty Lee's ears perked up with excitement.
"You need to go to the Lion Turtle so he can unlock your spiritual blocks. But the only way to do that is with a bending unique to the Lion Turtle," Wan Shi Tong answered with a nod.
"Finished!"
Suddenly, Toph jumped onto her feet with a wide grin on her face as she finished writing on the parchment. The writings were somewhat messy. But Toph did it.
Toph moved towards Wan Shi Tong, who read the scroll with a nod of approval. Seismic sense can be used to fight, but it can also help blind people see, as evidenced by the girl in front of him.
"Tell me how to become the greatest Earthebender throughout history, not that I am not the greatest earthbending already," Toph loudly explained, causing Wan Shi Tong to frown.
"I don't have an answer to that," Wan Shi Tong replied, causing Toph to whine loudly with a frown on her face. Ty Lee and Norrak chuckled at the sight.
"Then, are there any sub-bendings of Earthbending?" Toph asked, surprising Norrak, who had already told her some sub-bendings. The only one he didn't say was lavabending.
"I have the answer to that. There is an ancient earthbendign technique that no one had managed to learn for generations. Well, except for the avatar, of course," Wan Shi Tong answered, and Toph's lips curled into an excited smirk.
"What is it?"
"It is called glassbending, and the last person to learn it was Avatar Kyoshi," Wan Shi Tong replied, and Norrak snorted at the answer. Make no mistake, Earthbending is the most powerful bending, with the most destructive potential, besides fire.
But glassbending?
What is that going to do when you only see glass in a city?
"What? Why would I learn that lame ass bending?! I will learn metalbending!" Toph replied with displeasure as she moved and plopped down between Norrak's legs, leaning back against his chest.
"You sure you don't wanna learn glassbedning? It could be useful," Norrak asked, and Toph snorted before shaking her head. Instead, she asked him to create balls of water around her feet.
"Do it, now!"

I am planning on giving Ty Lee a bending, but I am not sure yet. I guess I will decide once the group meets the Lion Turtle.
