"Why did you wanna go down there anyway? It's just a spring, not like anything special," Toph said with an annoyed glare as her feet landed on the freezing ice.
Toph's teeth chattered as the cold attacked her feet, ice slowly growing on her soles. Norrak, seeing this, picked up a startled Toph. The freezing mist vanished, and the ice receded.
Ty Lee let out a relieved sigh as she stopped rubbing her arms in a useless attempt to warm her body up. Katara was okay; her resistance to the cold was much higher than that of the two.
"Are you okay, Norrak? You have... Blood dripping down your face... What did you do down there?!" Ty Lee said with a neutral face, but her eyes widened in worry.
Katara's face snapped to Norrak, and she saw the frozen blood on his face, which had turned into red ice. She walked forward, her arm turning into a blur.
Slap!
Norrak's face turned sideways, his eyebrow twitching, before his face was turned to Katara, who kissed him. Her hands on the side of his head glowed, trying to heal him.
"Wow, never knew she was into the rough stuff... Did you know she was into the rough stuff?" Toph said with an amused snicker as she turned to Ty Lee with a teasing tone.
Ty Lee blushed at the question before shrugging her shoulders. She doesn't know what Katara is into yet, since they never had sex with Norrak at the same time.
"I mean, I guess she likes it tougher than the average woman..." Ty Lee responded to Toph, who chuckled in amusement. Toph was on Norrak's shoulders, sighing as she waited to be put down.
"Everyone! There is the culprit behind this! Get him!" Norrak swung around, while Katara let out an annoyed growl as she saw the people of the town surrounding them in a circle, weapons in their hands.
Norrak melted the ice around them and then placed Toph down, who suddenly smirked as she felt the wet mud underneath her feet. It felt... More fluid and easier to control.
"Calm down, everybody... This spring is no good for you, it was only making the area worse and worse-"
Norrak tried to reason with the townspeople, but he was interrupted when a stone was thrown at his head. He dodged. And he turned to look at the one who threw the stone.
It was a guy with a straw hat on his head, wearing worn and sandy clothes. Behind him, another dozen people were standing with their arms crossed.
"Easy for you to say, you're not the one living in a desert where food is scarce, water is hard to find, and sure damn hard for us to live in this heat," Li Tong said as he stepped forward.
His group of raiders and sandbenders also stepped forward, covering the distance between Norrak and them. The people surrounding them also moved closer.
"Calm down, big guy, no need to be in trouble. Besides, don't you see I already made a better spring behind me?" Norrak said with a hint of warning in his tone as he pointed to the ice behind him.
"We do not care about what that is. I can see that it's not the same as the spring from before; it's dull and lifeless. My business is going to be ruined because of you!" Li Tong said with an angry glare.
"Business? What kind of business do the raiders have in this town? Except for raiding, theft and scavenging." Norrak squid with an increasingly angry tone.
He literally saved the land from being sucked dry and turning it into sand in the future. The ground is already dry and cracking; without the bead, it can get better.
"We will let you go as soon as you give us that flying Bison a bit further from the town-"
Boom!
A mud whip slashed Li Tong in the mouth. Toph's angry glare was further intimidated by her white pupils, creating a tense atmosphere. Li Tong groaned, blood dripping from his face as a gash opened on his cheek.
Katara and Ty Lee glared at the people and Li Tong's group. Their Chi was surging as they got ready for a fight. Norrak was calm as he crossed his arms, not worried an inch as he watched the bandit group.
"You looked like you were thirsty. Did that mud taste good? Because that's what your dirty mouth deserves~," Toph said with a grin as she put her tongue out annoyingly.
"You bitch! Get them boys!" Li Tong screamed in anger as he glared at Toph. The people behind him rushed forward, the ground under them turning into sand with their combined effort.
Swoosh!
A tsunami of wet sand surged high into the air before trying to swallow Norrak and the girls. Katara sneered, an ice fan appearing in her hand as she jumped forward.
Boom!
A massive wind blade surged forward from the ice fan, cutting the sand tsunami in half, before another surge of wind blasted the falling sand back at the group.
Li Tong glared in anger, a growl erupting from his throat before stomping on the ground. Norrak stepped to the side, the sand under his leg trying to coil around him.
"Bitch, did you really just try to attack me? Out of everyone here, you choose to attack me?" Norrak said, dumbfounded as he looked at Li Tong as if he were a clown.
Swoosh!
Norrak vanished from his place, his enhanced body appearing behind Li Tong, who did not react to his speed at all. He was just a slightly stronger bender, tiers below the likes of Azula.
Boom!
Li Tong screamed in pain, a fist smashing into his lower back, snapping his tailbone along with his spine. His body flew forward, crashing into his subordinates and causing bones to shatter.
Groans and moans of pain echoed throughout the area as Norrak pulled his extended hand back, a glare in his eyes as he looked at the surrounding people.
"Everyone, stand down now! We will be out of your hair soon," Norrak shouted as he bent the blood inside the benders. Causing their brains to shut down and die.
Norrak was not in the mood for any more fighting. It's not like these weak benders can give him an upgrade in power anyway. In fact, barely anyone in the world could.
The people of the town backed off, looking at Norrka with a hint of fear. Norrak shook his head before enveloping Toph in his Chi. Katara took Ty Lee, and the four flew into the air.
[Appa...]
Moooo!
Appa struggled with the ropes around his body as the benders tried to take him. The benders used sandbending to dig underground through the ice, taking Appa out.
Norrak in the air glared down at the group, bending their blood to have them float. Norrak landed on the ground, his eyes cold as he severed the ropes on Appa with an ice blade.
Boom!
Bodies broke the sound barrier as a flash of red was swung towards the distance.
Norrak used his bloodbending to fling the blood in the gbandits bodies with his full power. The group barely let out a gasp before their blood shot out of their bodies. Their bodies turned into blurs, following their blood before being flung hundreds of meters away.
Norrak moved to Appa, and he rubbed his head to comfort him.
"It's alright, big guy," Norrrak said with a smile.
