Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: If Only We Could Steal the Sword of Gryffindor

   .

  "Woo--!"

After waiting for a moment on the platform, the train blew a melodious whistle.

The Hogwarts Express began to move.

Steam from the chimney drifted backward.

The train pulled out of the station, heading towards the endless plains and fields.

Dylan took in the view from the window. It was the season of vibrant life, and everything seemed full of life.

"Little brother, we're going out to play with some friends."

"Yes, you can read quietly here.

" "It's all your fault, you're so noisy, you keep talking.

" "It's obviously your fault, I was just following your lead."

  Dylan ignored the two clowns.

The two redheads also darted out of the compartment, looking for someone to play with.

Dylan took this opportunity to pull out his wizard robes and put them on.

Along the way, he would occasionally glance out the window at the scenery, then return to flipping through the book in his hand

until the Hogwarts Express slowly came to a stop.

The Weasley twins then reentered the compartment and cleared their belongings from their seats.

"Little brother, is this all you have?"

They were returning to school after the holiday, so naturally they couldn't bring much.

But how could a young wizard like Dylan only have so little?

"I've already sent the heavier luggage to school via owl post."

He was still just a child, and carrying so much stuff wasn't just a hassle.

He wouldn't do anything himself that could be mailed.

In fact, if he weren't worried about his possession of the system being exposed,

he would have stuffed all his belongings into the system's inventory.

  "I see," the twins nodded.

The three of them walked out of the compartment and onto the train.

  Suddenly, a cold wind blew,

the chill seeping into his sleeves.

  Dylan shivered.

"Why is it so cold here?"

He raised his wand and gently shook it.

  "Thermo Enchantia!"

Dylan cast a warming spell on himself.

He had learned quite a few spells during his time at home.

Although he hadn't reached the maximum level yet, it was barely enough.

With the spell's protection, the surrounding cold seemed to vanish instantly, and he felt a warm, comfortable warmth.

Seeing this, George and Fred immediately gathered around Dylan.

"Hey! Junior! Come on, I want one too!"

  "Give me one too!"

Squeezed between the two, Dylan, feeling a bit breathless, waved his wand again helplessly.

  "Thermo Enchantia!"

  "Thermo Enchantia!"

Two spells in quick succession pelted the red-haired twins.

The twins immediately let go of Dylan.

"Thank you for your hospitality... I'll head over to the freshman meeting place."

  "Okay, okay."

"Come on, and remember to meet us at Hogwarts!"

The red-haired twins ran off, mingling with the crowd and showing off their warming spells.

Dylan stared at them, shook his head helplessly, and walked towards Hagrid.

"Oh, are all the freshmen here yet? Let's go then,"

  said Hagrid, a burly figure.

Dylan was a little surprised when he saw him for the first time.     As expected of a half-giant, how tall was he? Nearly three meters, right?

It looked like it could have sat him down to death.

He glanced around, but the darkness and the crowds prevented him from spotting Harry and the others.

Hagrid raised his lantern and turned to walk back, leading the way for the new students.

His lantern couldn't provide enough light for the entire group.

Dylan couldn't understand why there weren't any magical lights in the pitch black.

The chubby wizard in front was already stumbling and almost collapsed.

  "Lumos!"

He waved his wand, and a gentle, non-bright light instantly emanated from the tip.

  The darkness around him dissipated.

He was standing at the end of the group, so his presence allowed the young wizards behind him to see more clearly.

Many people exclaimed in surprise, followed by grateful glances.

Led by Hagrid, the freshmen passed through a forest and stood on the shore of a pitch-black lake.

Many young wizards raised their heads,   their eyes widening

as they gazed at the castle on the other side of the lake.   Dylan looked over as well.   From this angle, Hogwarts Castle looked majestic and imposing, its towering towers seemingly reaching for the heavens.   The stone walls were ancient and heavy, and twinkling lights shone through the castle windows, reflecting the starry sky.   Dylan had to admit that despite his preparedness, he still felt a little shocked.   "This is Hogwarts! It's truly magnificent..."   A somewhat shy voice came from beside him.   Dylan turned and saw a chubby little face.   "Hello, I'm... my name is Neville."   He looked a little embarrassed, his head lowered slightly.   "Well, your Lumos Charm just now really helped me out. Otherwise, I probably would have fallen over several times. Thank you so much."   Neville... the one who played with the toad?   Dylan shook his head, a kind smile playing on his lips.   "It's okay. I was just trying to light my own way."   It seemed as if this timid fellow was the future swordsman who could pull the Sword of Gryffindor from the Sorting Hat .   "But now that I'm here, I'm not sure if I can use that sword."   He's been researching how to control weapons with spells, achieving a feat similar to the "Shushan Sword Immortal. "   If he had the Sword of Gryffindor to study, that would be perfect.   "What's your name?"   "Dylan."   "Hello, Dylan."   "...Hello."   He could sense that the chubby kid seemed to want to make friends with him, or even share a boat trip with him.   But his shy personality made even opening his mouth a struggle, and his round face blushed unconsciously.   Dylan was really afraid that the little fat guy would suffocate himself to death.   He quickly said, "Classmate Neville, I wonder if you can take the same boat with me? You are the first little wizard I know."   Neville's eyes suddenly lit up when he heard that.   "Of course! I was just about to say this."   Dylan smiled.   He continued to move forward with the team.   The Black Lake is scary black.   It feels like falling into the abyss.   The closer to the lake, the more nervous Neville became.   Dylan was not very accustomed to such deep water, but with six full-level black spells, he was not too afraid of the creatures in the water.   If anyone dared to jump out to scare him, he would spend 100 Galleons to change the color of the spell to colorless, and then directly use Avada to bite the big melon!   "It's our turn, get on the boat."   (End of this chapter)
