"Do you think she's still alive?"
"Wha- How could you say that about an injured person?"
"I mean she's been asleep this entire time."
"Yea, but that doesn't mean she's dead."
In the room with Mio were two maids who were tasked with taking care of her until she awoke. One of them was a blonde and the other was a redhead.
The two unfamiliar voices spoke back and forth waking Mio from her slumber. Immediately after waking up she jumped up scaring the maids that were in her care.
"Oh, she's awake," one of the maids shouted.
"I'll go grab the master," said the other as she bolted out of the room.
Mio was confused and didn't know where she was at the time. But one thing was clear to her, her head ached like crazy.
"Don't move around so much."
"You took a beating that left you asleep for almost two days."
"Where am I?" Mio asked.
Before the maid could answer her, Taro walked into the room now dressed in a black tuxedo with a bowtie, "You are in one of my hotels, how do you feel?"
Upon hearing his voice, Mio jumped out of bed and took on a fighting stance.
The maid covered her mouth and Taro immediately looked away from her before coughing, "Before you do anything crazy, please get dressed."
Mio then looked down to see that she wasn't wearing anything and screamed.
While Mio was getting dressed one of the maids addressed her, "Master Taro brought you here and asked for us to tend to your wounds, you're not fully healed yet but seeing that you're able to move around you should be fine."
"Also I apologize for not letting you know that you were undressed, but the last thing I expected was for you to suddenly jump out of bed like that," the maid said as she giggled.
"Ah- it's ok, I should have been paying more attention," Mio responded.
After getting dressed, Mio met with Taro in the lobby of the hotel.
"Let's go," Taro said.
"Ahem, don't you have anything to say before you walk away?"
Taro froze and turned to Mio before giving her a smile and a thumbs up.
"Nice Tits."
Taro and Mio then left the hotel with Taro's right cheek bright red and pulsing.
The two then started to walk down the street with not even a word to each other.
Taro then suddenly spoke up, "Sorry for not stepping in sooner," he stated.
"I had to make sure that I could trust you and that you weren't a threat to the Utopia I was trying to recreate."
Taro bowed his head to Mio, completely surprising her.
"You don't have to apologize, because I've been badmouthing you and your group ever since I got here, so I should be the one to apologize to you," Mio replied.
Taro smiled and grabbed her hands, "Then we're equal."
"Since you've gained my trust, allow me to introduce you to everyone else."
"Everyone else?"
Taro brought Mio to a coffee shop and inside was a young man leaning up against the counter with a bored look on his face.
"Yo Zef, I'm here to pick you up," Taro yelled.
As he walked into the coffee shop, a stool was sent flying towards him, but Taro reacted quickly and caught it.
"Hey, is that how you greet your boss?"
"Boss?"
"When did you become my boss?"
"Huh?"
"You were the main one who voted for me to lead 'The Agenda'."
"No, I said you should be the one responsible for all the paperwork because I don't want to do it, I never said you would become my boss."
"Well, I am the boss so deal with it."
Zefra sighs before turning to Mio.
"So is she the girl you kept talking about?"
"Yeah."
"This is Mio Takamira, she's the one who requested to come here to investigate us."
"Ah, my name is Zefra. Pleased to meet you. I hope my idiotic friend hasn't bothered you too much since your arrival."
"Ah no it's fine."
Taro glared at Zefra before shaking his head.
"Ok, you two, let's not keep everyone else waiting."
Zefra waved his arm to another young man who was sitting nearby as Taro happily greeted him.
"Tony, I didn't even realize you were here."
"Hello Mister Taro."
"Hey, Tony keep watching over the shop while I'm gone, will ya," Zefra requested.
"Sure Boss."
Taro reached out and grabbed Mio's and Zefra's arm, "Alright you two, don't blink."
In an instant the three of them were inside of a metallic room with a bunch of Agenda soldiers running around.
Upon catching sight of Taro the whole room froze and greeted him.
"Good morning Boss."
"Good morning everyone," Taro waved.
"See that Zef, take notes."
Zefra rolled his eyes before walking past Taro.
Taro and Zefra then walked into a room with a large table with Mio following behind them. Inside this room there were five other people, four of them were generals and the other was the police chief.
"Ah Miss Mio, you're awake," the chief said.
"Chief?"
"Please call me Newman, enough with the honorifics."
As Taro sat down in his chair, the whole room turned against him as if he had committed a serious crime.
"Hey buddy, if you're gonna call a meeting, how about you show up on time instead of keeping everyone waiting," said one of his generals.
"I expected you to be late but damn 30mins, yea no you're pushing your luck," said another.
"Wait, is this how they treat their boss?"
"Enough," Taro yelled angrily, "You bastards are embarrassing me in front of guests."
The whole room then turned to Mio and then back to Taro.
"Ah crap, my fault, but you know we gotta give you some trouble every now and then."
Taro sighed and signaled Mio to sit beside him.
"Everyone allow me to introduce Miss Mio Takamira, she'll be with us for a while so treat her as if she's one of us."
"Roger."
"Anyways Mio, allow me to fully introduce 'The Agenda' to you," Taro said.
"As you already know, I am Taro Akuma."
"The person next to you is Hideki, he may be on the chubby side but that's how he looks when he's over fueled."
"Next to him is Zefra whom you already met."
"Going down the line is Adonis, don't let his innocent face fool you, he's quite the womanizer."
"Next is Hiram, don't pay attention to the stuff he says most of the time, he's a bit crazy."
"And last but not least, is Faux, quite nonchalant but he can be a bit of a show off from time to time."
"Hey, I thought you said there were six generals, but there's only five of them," Mio stated.
"Oh, that's because the other general is on a secret mission, in his absence Faux is taking care of his squad which makes his squad at the moment the biggest."
"Ok, Taro now that the greet and meet is over, why did you call us here?" Zefra asked.
"I'll handle that for you Taro," said Chief Newman.
He stood up from his seat and uttered a single line that shook the whole room.
"Our new mayor is arriving in town today."
On a plane enroute to Central Kaze…
"Say doctor, you never told me why you wanted to come to Kaze."
"No reason, I'm just curious about these Agenda people running around playing hero."
"I see."
"I think it's quite interesting, a group pretending to be criminals to the outside world but are actually saviors to that whole city, just thinking about it makes me excited."
"Hmmm…"
I can't wait to meet them either, after all they are amongst the first few to be affected by the black bullet.
