In the underground bunker where the Agenda's Headquarters is located, civilians lie in wait for news on whether their home would be turned into a hellscape ruled by criminals once more, or if the Agenda would stay true to their words and save the city as promised. Back where the medics are operating, someone stood up from their bed, frightening one of the nurses, Mio stood shocked.
"I'm sure I was shot, but I'm standing here as if nothing happened," she thought.
Chief Newman hearing the commotion decides to check it out and upon seeing Mio he runs over to her.
"Are you alright?" he asked nervously.
"I'm fine, but my head is throbbing."
"That's good, I mean you being fine and all."
"Hey, I was with Taro when I was shot, where did he go?"
"After he dropped you off, he didn't even issue an order, he just teleported away."
"I think I know where he went, I have to let him know that I'm ok."
"No, you're injured, you might feel fine now but once the adrenaline wears off, who knows what will happen."
"Listen, we have to find Taro fast because if we don't, he'll destroy the city himself."
Mio then recalls a conversation she had with Hideki the day she met him.
"Mio was your name right?" Hideki said in a calm tone.
"Yeah, that's right."
"Listen, Taro isn't someone who would just trust anyone off the bat, so the fact that he trusted you enough to introduce you to everyone here tells me that you're special to him."
"Special?"
"I'll tell you this, no matter what, don't get hurt in front of Taro."
"What do you mean?"
"Let's just say Taro isn't entirely 'human'."
Back to the present, Newman decides to let Mio go out to find Taro but decides that he'll go with her just to be safe.
Back on the surface, multiple Agenda members lied lifeless. Their bodies were crushed in various ways. Don has wreaked havoc across Kaze with no one in sight to stop him, until.
"Hey you," Zefra called out before sending a broken wall at Don.
With a grin on his face, Don grabbed a hold of the wall and crushed it with his arms. Looking almost proud of himself, he grinned even harder. Zefra however, wasn't having it and using his ability forced Don to the ground.
Walking towards Don, Zefra gathers a ball of rubble. "I heard you enjoy crushing things, so I want to see how you'll react when you yourself are about to be crushed."
Don, struggling to stand under the weight that Zefra placed on top of him, grunted loudly. In an instant he stood up, hovering above Zefra striking him with devastating force. Catching himself midair, Zefra looks up only to see Don falling onto him and with another attack he leaves a crater in the ground. Don continuously grunting, became pounding the area Zefra was at with his fist.
"You done?" Zefra called out.
Realizing that Zefra was in front of him the whole time, Don looked at his battered and bruised hands and began to shiver.
"Don't tell me, you like crushing things but you get sad at the slightest amount of damage your hands receive, pathetic."
With that Zefra grabs the ball of rubble from earlier and drops it onto Don, finishing the fight.
"Zefra to HQ do you read me?"
"This is HQ."
"I've subdued another enemy, standing by for pick up."
"Roger that, also Mio and the Chief left earlier."
"Mio is alive?" Hideki yelled.
"Hey, you don't have to yell, we can all hear you just fine," Zefra scolded.
"I know, it's just that, now we don't have to deal with that version of Taro."
"Yeah, you're right."
"Faux, Hiram what's your status?"
"Quite busy right now," Faux replied.
Faux ran around the area he was in as he took cover to catch his breath.
"Damn, what's with this guy?"
Suddenly, something sounding like a cannonball shot from a pirate ship is heard flying towards Faux, as he jumps out of the way, the area he was taking cover at suddenly explodes as if it was hit with someone.
"Come now Mr. General, don't run," yells Caesar. He creates a circular motion with his hands before making a pitcher's pose and throwing something at Faux. Trying to block it with his katana, Faux was hit as sent flying backwards.
"Now that won't do, remember you can't block at you can't see."
"Tch… this guy is starting to piss me off."
Jumping back onto his feet, Faux ran towards Caesar unleashing "Rend" , a ranged sword attack he created, however the attack turned away from Caesar hitting a building nearby inside.
"It happened again."
Faux sheathes his katana and rushes towards Caesar jumping into the air, "Fast Draw," he yelled as he prepared his next attack, however, when it came time to deliver that attack, his blade shifted past Caesar and hit the ground instead.
"Crap."
Faux is then blasted across the battlefield as Caesar just jumps around and laughs at him.
"That's it, I'm using all seeing eye."
"Don't, we can't afford to waste our energy on grunts like these," Zefra claims.
"Easy for you to say, you guys can fight without using too much energy." " Fine, I'll think of something."
Faux then stabs his blade into the ground sending out three decoy attacks towards Caesar. Realizing Faux's plan he swiftly dodges the three decoys that were sent to distract him while keeping his eyes on Faux. As he readies himself to tackle Faux, he is suddenly cut from behind and being distracted from the surprise attack, Faux pierces his chest with his blade.
"You got me, however I can simply make it so that this small mistake never happened."
"You'll try."
Caesar then tries to channel energy throughout his body, but to no avail he was left powerless.
"How?"
"My blade has the ability to cut off natural and soul energy if it makes contact with your body."
"This is Faux reporting to HQ, enemy subdued."
Hiram walks through a narrow alleyway reloaded his M9 pistol. Darius, sneaking around in the shadows, sneaks up behind Hiram attempting to land an attack. Hiram, however, swiftly and effortlessly dodges the attack and shoots three bullets into his back. Confused by how he was shot from the front and ended up getting hit in the back, Darius hides once more.
"This guy is confusing to fight," Darius thinks to himself. Hiram then holds his gun at the side of Darius's head.
"What?' "When did he find me?" "When did he get here?"
Desperate, Darius yells and swings his arm seemingly hitting Hiram as he pulls the trigger shooting Darius in the other side of his head.
"This is Hiram to HQ, the enemy has been subdued." "Also can someone get me an energy drink, I'm a bit thirsty."
Taro, now with the Mayor's office in sight, is suddenly alerted by the sound of thunder moving towards him. Without even looking or changing his expression he raises one of his arms and absorbs the attack that was sent towards him. Turning his head to see who it was, Taro stood and stared at Spazz, the last of the criminals that wreaked havoc across Kaze and turned away from him. Annoyed Spazz dashing over to Taro.
"Hey, it's rude to ignore people when they tal-"
Before Spazz could finish Taro decapitates him and moves into the yard of the Mayor's office.
Inside of the building the doctor smirks.
"You feel that Mr. Lucas, all that negative energy waiting outside your office."
"You're not getting away with this, doc."
"I don't know about that."
Taro opened the door of the office and slowly started climbing the stairs. Before anyone could notice, Sarah was released from her restraints and Taro lands a blow powerful enough to blow the roof of the office off on the doctor sending him flying out into the yard.
"You're the one behind the attack on my city, now I'll make you suffer."
"Hello Taro, it's a pleasure to meet you finally." "I wanted to meet you once I was Mayor, but at last here we are."
Taro, not listening to the doctor, steps forwards towards him unaware of his trap. Taro is suddenly trapped by a cube that slowly starts to shrink.
"Stay there for me will you, I'll deal with you later."
As the cube covered Taro completely, his eyes started to glow a reddish color and as the cube closed, it began shaking violently as a red aura burst from inside of it. The pressure that comes from this aura was suffocating from everyone within range, all the generals, Mio and Newman, the doctor, the mayor and Sarah. Even a few of the civilians in headquarters shivered in fear of this presence. As everyone looks towards the sky of Central Kaze, they are met with a red dragon staring down at them. Suppressing his energy, Taro returns to his human form, however his eyes still glowed red with his pupil having a reptile-like shape.
"Seriously, What even are you?"
The doctor could only stand in shock at first from what he just witnessed, but that shock changed into excitement quickly.
"Very well, I guess I'll have to become Mayor after I dispose of you."
The Doctor then takes out a switch from his coat pocket and flicks it on. In an instant, all the major grunts that were either defeated in battle or killed started to glow.
Everyone nearby them was caught off guard as their enemies started to scream in pain and agony. Just as they first appeared, beams of light erupted from the ground of Kaze killing the grunts and anyone nearby.
The Doctor then took a deep breath and smiled. "That takes care of everyone else, now it's just me and you, Taro Akuma."
