Episode 25 – My Sister… What Are You Hiding?
Scene from the previous episode:
Ren was carrying his bag to buy some things from the supermarket, while Elia was crying alone in her room.
The night was quiet, and darkness covered the streets. Ren walked under the dim house lights, thinking about Elia.
Ren (to himself):
"What is Elia hiding from me? Why doesn't she want to tell me the truth?"
Lost in thought, Ren continued walking until he reached the supermarket and went inside.
He started buying the items he needed: rice, pasta, vegetables, and other essentials.
While reaching for something, he accidentally bumped into someone.
He turned to look… and it was Hina.
Ren: Hina? What are you doing here?
Hina: What do you think? Buying things for my family. And also… where's your apology?
Ren: Apology? For what?
Hina: Didn't you bump into me a moment ago?
Ren: Oh—right… I'm sorry, I forgot.
Hina looked at Ren and immediately felt something was off.
Hina: Ren… is something bothering you?
Ren: I won't lie… yes.
Hina: What is it?
Ren: It's my sister.
Hina: Elia? What happened to her?
Ren: Today was her first day at her new school, and when I went to pick her up she was soaked—her clothes and hair were wet. When I asked her, she said she fell into the pool.
Hina: Okay… so what's bothering you?
Ren: I know Elia. She said it while shaking. Like she was hiding something.
Hina: True… I saw her when I visited you earlier, she was nervous… You're right, it's suspicious.
Ren: I don't know what to do.
Hina: Listen, Ren… try talking to her.

Ren: What?! I can't do that.
Hina: I know… but get angry because she lied. That way she'll tell you everything. My sister used to do this, and when I tried this method she started telling me the truth. Try it… you won't lose anything.

Hina: I'm done shopping, I'll go now. Do you need anything?

Hina leaves with her groceries, and Ren finishes buying his items—including some snacks for Elia—then heads home.

Elia While Ren Is Away
Elia whispers to herself:
"How am I supposed to tell my brother that kids bullied me on the first day? What should I do, Mr. Teddy Bear?"
She goes looking for Ren.
She checks the kitchen… he's not there.
The living room… not there.
His room… also empty.
She tells herself:
"He's angry at me and left… he must be upset with me… I'm terrible… I'm stupid…"
She bursts into tears and runs back to her room, crying on her bed until she falls asleep.

Ren Returns
Ren enters the house and calls for Elia twice.
He puts the groceries in the kitchen and starts searching for her.
He reaches her room, opens the door… and finds her asleep.
Tear marks stain her cheeks, and her teddy bear is damp.
Ren (to himself):
"Elia was crying? Why? What happened? Was she scared?"
He thinks of waking her, but then says:
"I'll let her rest… I'll prepare something for us to eat."
He goes to the kitchen and starts cooking.
He remembers Elia loves ramen… so he decides to make her favorite meal.

Elia Wakes Up
While sleeping, she hears the sounds of cooking—the pan, the ladle, the utensils.
She gets up and walks to the kitchen.
When she sees Ren cooking happily, she runs to him and hugs him tightly.
Ren: Elia?
Elia: Where did you go?!
Ren: I went to buy some groceries.
Elia: Don't leave without telling me… I was worried about you.
Ren: I'm sorry, little sister.
Elia: Anyway… what are you cooking?
Ren: Your favorite meal.
Elia: Don't tell me… ramen?!
Ren: Yes, ramen.
Elia: Ramen!! Thank you, big brother!!
Then Ren remembers the school incident…
Ren: Elia… I want you to tell me what really happened at school. Tell me the truth… you know I won't do anything to hurt you. And… why were you crying earlier?
Elia becomes tense and looks down.
Ren: Elia… you're the most precious person to me. Just tell me.
She gathers her courage and says:
Elia: Brother… you won't get mad at me, right?
Ren: I won't.
Elia: When I entered the classroom, some students started bullying me and making fun of me. It continued for three classes… and during break, I went to eat lunch and could only find a spot near the pool. I was about to sit down when a group passed by. One of them said:
"Hey you, the new girl, be careful not to fall in the pool!"
Then someone pushed me… and I fell into the water. That's what happened.
Elia kept her eyes lowered. When she finally looked at Ren, she feared he would hit her… but instead, he hugged her tightly.
Elia (thinking):
He didn't hit me… why?
Ren: Elia… you should've told me. I'm going to talk to the principal tomorrow, and I'll go with you to school. I won't let some idiots make fun of my beautiful little sister.
Elia looks up, crying again.
Elia: I'm sorry I hid it from you, brother… I won't do it again… I promise.
Ren: It's okay… calm down.
Elia: I'm sorry…
Ren: Still apologizing? Come on… who wants ramen?
Elia: Me! Me!
Ren serves the ramen, and they sit together to eat.
Elia: Brother… can I ask you something?
Ren: Sure.
Elia: How did you know I was crying?
Ren: Your cute face told me… and also Mr. Teddy Bear.
Elia: WHAT?! Mr. Teddy Bear?! I'll get you for this!
The episode ends with Ren and Elia enjoying their ramen together.

هينا: ماذا أفعل برأيك؟ أشتري بعض الأشياء لعائلتي. وأيضًا… أين اعتذارك؟
رين: أي اعتذار؟ ولماذا؟
هينا: ألم ترتطم بي قبل لحظات؟
رين: أجل… أنا آسف، لقد نسيت.

رين: لا أعرف ما الذي عليّ فعله.
هينا: اسمع يا رين… حاول أن تكلّمها.
رين: لقد فعلت، كلمتها عدة مرات.
هينا: ليس هذا قصدي… كلمها بغضب.
رين: ماذا؟! لا يمكنني فعل ذلك.
هينا: أعلم… لكن اغضب عليها لأنها كذبت، هكذا ستخبرك. لقد كانت أختي تفعل أشياء هكذا، وعندما طبّقتُ هذه الفكرة أصبحت تخبرني كل شيء. حاول… لن تخسر شيئًا.
رين: حسنًا… شكرًا يا هينا.
هينا: إذًا أنا انتهيت من شراء الأشياء، سأغادر. هل تحتاج شيئًا ما؟
رين: لا، شكرًا يا هينا. وداعًا.
تخرج هينا من السوبر ماركت وهي تحمل الأغراض، ورين يكمل شراء حاجياته ويشتري أشياء من أجل إلِيا أيضًا.
ثم يخرج ويعود إلى البيت.

إلِيا أثناء غياب رين
إلِيا تقول لنفسها:
"كيف سأقول لأخي إن أطفالًا تنمّروا عليّ في أول يوم لي؟ ما الذي عليّ فعله يا سيد دبدوب؟"
تذهب إلِيا لتبحث عن رين، تنزل إلى المطبخ… لا تجده.
تذهب لغرفة المعيشة… ولا تجده.
ثم غرفته… ولا تجده.
تقول لنفسها:
"لقد غضب أخي مني وذهب… إذن هو زعلان مني… أنا سيئة… أنا حمقاء…"
وتذهب تبكي إلى غرفتها، وتكمل بكاءها على سريرها حتى نامت.
---
عودة رين
يصل رين إلى المنزل، ينادي إلِيا مرتين.
يضع الأغراض في المطبخ ويبحث عنها.
يذهب إلى غرفتها… يفتح الباب… يجد إلِيا نائمة، يرى آثار الدموع على خدّيها والدبدوب مبتلًا.
يسأل نفسه:
"إلِيا تبكي؟ لماذا؟ ماذا حصل؟ هل كانت خائفة؟"
يفكر أن يوقظها… لكنه يقول:
"سأدعها ترتاح حتى أعد بعض الطعام لي ولها."
ينزل إلى المطبخ ويبدأ بتحضير الطعام. يتذكر أن إلِيا تحب الرامن… فيبدأ بتحضيره.

استيقاظ إلِيا
وهي نائمة، تسمع صوت المقلاة والمغرفة وصوت أدوات الطبخ.
تنهض من سريرها وتذهب للمطبخ.
عندما ترى رين يطبخ وهو مستمتع… تركض نحوه وتحضنه.
رين: ماذا، إلِيا؟
إلِيا: أين كنت؟
رين: ذهبت لأتسوق بعض الأشياء.
إلِيا: لا تذهب دون أن تخبرني… لقد كنت قلقة عليك.
رين: أنا آسف يا أختي.
إلِيا: المهم… ماذا تطبخ؟
رين: وجبتك المفضلة.
إلِيا: لا تقل لي… رامن؟
رين: أجل… أعدّ رامن.
إلِيا: رامن!! شكراً يا أخي!
ثم يتذكر رين موضوع المدرسة…
رين: إلِيا… أريد منك أن تخبريني ماذا حصل معك في المدرسة. أخبريني الحقيقة… أنتِ تعرفين أني لن أفعل شيئًا لك. وأيضًا… لماذا كنتِ تبكين عندما ذهبت؟
إلِيا تتوتر وتنظر للأسفل…
رين: إلِيا… أنتِ أعز شخص عندي. أخبريني فقط.
تستجمع شجاعتها وتقول:
إلِيا: أخي… أنت لن تغضب مني، صحيح؟
رين: لن أفعل.
إلِيا: عندما دخلتُ الفصل، بدأ بعض الطلاب بالتنمر عليّ والسخرية مني. استمر الأمر ثلاث حصص… وعندما جاءت الاستراحة ذهبت لأكل غدائي ولم أجد مكانًا إلا بجانب المسبح. كنت على وشك الجلوس… عندما مرت مجموعة، قال أحدهم:
"هي أنتِ أيتها الجديدة، انتبهي كي لا تقعي في المسبح!"
ثم دفعني أحدهم… ووقعت في المسبح. هذا ما حصل.
كانت إلِيا تنظر للأسفل… وعندما نظرت إلى رين وخافت، ظنت أنه سيضربها… لكنه عانقها.
إلِيا (في نفسها): لم يضربني… لماذا؟
رين: إلِيا… كان عليك أن تخبريني. سأخبر المدير غدًا، وسآتي معك إلى المدرسة. لن أسمح لبعض الحمقى بالسخرية من أختي الجميلة.
ترفع إلِيا رأسها وتبدأ بالبكاء:
إلِيا: أنا آسفة لإخفاء الأمر عنك يا أخي… لن أفعلها مرة أخرى… أعدك.
رين: أجل… هيا اهدئي.
إلِيا: حسنًا… أنا آسفة يا أخي.
رين: أما زلتِ تعتذرين؟ هيا… من يريد الرامن؟
إلِيا: أنا أنا!
رين يحضر الرامن ويضعه على الطاولة ويبدآن بالأكل.
إلِيا: أخي… ممكن أسألك؟
رين: أجل.
إلِيا: كيف عرفت أني كنت أبكي؟
رين: وجهك الجميل أخبرني… وأيضًا السيد دبدوب.
إلِيا: ماذا؟! السيد دبدوب؟! سـأنتقم منك!
تنتهي الحلقة بإلِيا ورين وهما يأكلان الرامن ويستمتعان.
