Morning came
The sun is about to rise
In the morning
We brew tea
A tea so fragrant and sweet
That it makes us forget our woes
And our lips curl up into a smile
As we enjoy the tea
Accompanied by warm bread
And a generous amount of butter
Butter that is so fragrant that it
Makes us salivate with ecstasy
A generous slice of cheese
For those who can afford it
Grateful for every sip
Grateful for every bite
Enjoy the mundane moments
In the morning
When the sun has finally risen
Walking around barefoot
In the dewy grass
Twirling around and feeling
As youthful as a child
Grateful for the fresh grass underneath
Grateful for the mist and morning dew
Grateful for the laughter
That takes away the worries
Of our woes for a moment
In the morning
The air so crisp
The leaves crunching under our feet
A most delightful sound
The birds happily flapping their wings
Jumping around in the little ponds
Readily looking for leftover bread crumbs
To feed themselves and their little babies
Then go about their day
Grateful for another day
Another sunrise
Another morning
In the morning
The cat stretches it's little paws
Fidgeting about in their
Warm little place
Purring about and being all adorable
While the mothers are hurrying to get their children ready for school
In the morning
The children get dressed early
They go about checking if
Their homeworks are done
Hoping for no mistakes to have been made
Hurrying about to school
With their face that carry
The signs of sleep still
Singing about their surroundings
In their carriages that brings them
To their destination
Grateful for every milliseconds of sleep
And grateful for having woken up
To find a new day full of mysteries Welcoming them
