"What I'm going to talk about today is the fourth layer of the Supernatural Realm."
On the podium, Professor Holland's gaze swept over the students, and seeing that no one was absent, he then spoke.
"This Supernatural Realm layer is very special. It is a fantasy technological realm where chaos reigns."
"Most importantly, you will not enter this Supernatural Realm layer with your physical body, but with your consciousness. Your physical body will remain in this world."
Upon hearing this, many students were taken aback.
Someone immediately asked, "Entering with our consciousness? Professor, how can pure consciousness kill monsters?"
Professor Holland explained, "After your consciousness enters the Supernatural Realm, you will arrive at a waiting and preparation area, where the Supernatural Realm will present you with a panel where you can create your bodies, called Avatars, and make other preparations."
"It's like full dive virtual reality game scenes in some movies and TV shows."
"Therefore, the fourth layer of the Supernatural Realm is also referred to by some supernatural individuals as the Game Layer."
The students were amazed.
"Professor, does that mean we will lose our abilities and skills?" a student couldn't help but ask.
"Yes, because it is consciousness that enters the Supernatural Realm, your ability and skills are unusable. You cannot bring them into the Supernatural Realm."
Upon hearing this, the students' expressions changed drastically.
They had become accustomed to being supernatural individuals and to the power that came with their abilities, so it would undoubtedly be tough for them to return to being ordinary people.
The supernatural world, in particular, was a dangerous place, and without strength, one would certainly feel insecure.
Seeing that the students seemed frightened, Professor Holland continued, "Of course, the Supernatural Realm will not strip you of your strength as supernatural beings... After entering the fourth layer of the Supernatural Realm, you will lose your abilities and skills but will gain other powers."
"The Supernatural Realm will convert all the attribute points you have gained from training over the past few months into Attribute Coins, including the attribute points you obtained in the first three layers of the Supernatural Realm. Even if they have already been used, they will all appear as Attribute Coins."
"Therefore, after entering the Supernatural Realm, you will be able to see these Attribute Coins in the panel that appears. Furthermore, you can view and use this panel as long as you remain on the fourth layer. You will need this panel for many situations."
"These Attribute Coins will be an important resource for you to become stronger in the Supernatural Realm quickly."
"After entering the layer and creating your avatar, you can use these attribute coins to purchase various skills and weapons through the panel. This is the only way for you to become stronger in the Supernatural Realm."
"The fourth layer of the Supernatural Realm is a Battle Royale Planet where a wide variety of skills, weapons, and technological gadgets are freely available. It's complete chaos there, so you need to plan carefully with your team about which skills, weapons, and equipment to acquire."
The students were somewhat surprised upon hearing this.
They probably didn't expect the fourth layer of the Supernatural Realm to be so different and chaotic.
A student asked, "Professor, since the fourth layer of the Supernatural Realm is a Battle Royale world, will our mission after entering the Supernatural Realm now be to kill other supernatural beings instead of monsters? How many people can survive a Battle Royale game?"
Professor Holland nodded his head. "That's a good question. But don't worry. Yes, you'll be participating in a Battle Royale match. But here, the last one standing doesn't win. The goal of Battle Royale is to obtain the Artifact offered by the Supernatural Realm."
"But as you said before, to obtain this Artifact, you'll need to fight and kill supernatural beings and NPCs from the fourth tier. But the reason I say don't worry is because every supernatural being who enters this layer automatically receives an Extra Life Coin."
After a pause, Professor Holland continued, "With Extra Life Coins, you can revive yourself in Battle Royale after dying, with your initial skills and equipment. Or you can choose to be a spectator for the rest of the Battle Royale."
"However, after you die, your Kill Count will remain the same, but you will lose all the Currency Coins you have earned. Therefore, it would be better for you to try to complete this layer without dying."
"So, is this a layer where we're guaranteed to return as long as we don't take unnecessary risks?" a student asked.
"That's right, even if you die once, you can return safely unless you choose to be revived. Moreover, you can even purchase additional Extra Life Coins during the preparation phase. However, the price isn't low. You need to pay 100 Attribute Coins for one, and each person can purchase a maximum of 3." Professor Holland explained.
And many students breathed a sigh of relief after hearing this. At least their return was practically guaranteed at this layer.
Many ambitious students were also considering buying at least one more Extra Life Coin, even though it was expensive.
"Professor, you just mentioned Kill Count and Currency Coins. Are these mission objectives at this layer?" someone asked.
"Yes, but that's not all your mission objectives. You'll encounter many more missions once you enter this layer."
"Your first mission is to survive a twelve-and-a-half-hour Battle Royale event. After 5 hours of avatar creation, preparation, and testing your new powers, you will be teleported to the Battle Royale Planet, where you must survive as a player or observer until the time runs out."
"Your second mission is to kill as many other players as possible. Killing anyone, whether they are players or NPCs, will add one score to your Kill Count. This Kill Count will be one of the key factors in determining your final grade. If you kill 5,000 people, you will achieve an S-grade."
"Your third mission is to collect as many Currency Coins as possible. When you kill other players, you earn a minimum of 1,000 coins, and you also take all of the other players' coins. If you manage to collect 100 million Currency Coins, you will achieve an S-grade. The Supernatural Realm will base its grade on whichever gives you a higher score: your Kill Count or your Currency Coins."
After Professor Holland finished explaining this, he paused to take a sip of water from his glass.
Meanwhile, a student asked, "Professor, isn't the balance between Kill Count and Currency Coins a bit skewed? One hundred million Currency Coins is equivalent to killing 100,000 players."
"If you calculate it based on the minimum 1000 coins you get for killing a player, then this is true. But the player you killed might have killed many others and collected their coins, or you might ambush a wealthy person towards the end of the Battle Royale. Additionally, some NPCs drop large amounts of coins when killed. But most importantly, these coins can later be used for other purposes, but we'll get to that later." The professor explained.
"Professor, are there any other missions besides these three?"
