Chapter 8 – Three Thousand Years with the Earth Goddess
The Earth Goddess Ximi appeared behind Fanan, graceful and dignified. Her melodious voice made him slowly turn around.
"Greetings, beautiful Sovereign of the Earth, Goddess Ximi."
Though Fanan's divine power was far weaker than Ximi's, he was the God of Consciousness. The instant she appeared behind him, he felt a subtle, unique perception of her presence.
"You may call me by name, Fanan," he said with a smile.
"Fanan, receiving the grace of the Primordial Brahma, it is no wonder you are the first life of the Primordial Brahma Era," Ximi said, immediately discerning his identity.
As a Primordial Element God and master of a thousand human realms, Ximi possessed inexpressible divine power.
Fanan feigned shock: "Nothing escapes your gaze, Goddess Ximi. Please conceal my presence from the Creator God Brahma—I do not wish to be discovered."
It was not that Brahma lacked the perception to detect Fanan. In his eyes, only a handful of infinite-consciousness supreme gods across the three thousand realms were worth observing.
He deemed it beneath him to notice someone like Fanan.
Yet if Brahma knew of Fanan's existence and his true identity, he would resent him deeply. What right did a mere ant-like minor god have to be the first life of the Primordial Brahma Era?
"Great? Or is it arrogance?"
Ximi offered no respect to Brahma in her words, her sincerity bordering on alarming.
At that moment, Fanan realized why Ximi would lose her supreme authority—and even her life—in the near future.
Her name as a Primordial Element God would be forgotten.Mortals and future beings would only know Parvati, with one of her many titles being Mother of the Earth.
The Primordial Element God Ximi was personally struck down by Brahma during the first turbulence among the gods, for aiding Dayus, the Sky God.
"Whether Brahma is great or arrogant is not for us to judge. Goddess Ximi must not be remembered in his heart for this," Fanan reminded her.
Any god possessing a lingam could not resist the beauty of Ximi. Fanan was no exception. Perhaps for this reason, he did not want the beautiful Earth Goddess to vanish tragically in the future.
"Primordial Element Gods possess power beyond ordinary authority, but all will weaken with time," he continued."When the worlds stabilize and the universe emerges from the Primordial Era, even Primordial Element Gods will lose Brahma's protection."
Seeing that Ximi remained unmoved, Fanan revealed the future evolution of the universe to her.
"You mean… my supreme authority will be weakened? How is that possible, dear Lord Fanan?"
Ximi showed disbelief, yet Fanan spoke so clearly and logically that it did not feel like a lie.
"The Primordial Element Gods have supreme authority because the other gods have not yet been born. Once they are born, their powers will disperse the supreme authority," Fanan explained.
Hearing this, Ximi fell into a moment of contemplation.
Indeed. Once the other gods were born, their powers would fragment the supreme authority. For example: the Gods of Mountains, Plants, Animals—all would share portions of the supreme authority over Earth.
"Thank you, Lord Fanan, for your reminder. Praise to your wisdom," Ximi said.
Fanan smiled slightly. "Wisdom? I am simply born early, and have gained a little insight. Even without my reminder, Goddess Ximi would gradually understand these truths."
She knew herself too well to think it would be so easy to grasp.
"By the way, Lord Fanan… you haven't told me what the 'unexpected event' is," Ximi suddenly recalled Fanan's early mutterings.
It seemed to involve Creator God Brahma and his children.
"Uh… well…"
Fanan hesitated, unsure of how to explain. He could not tell Ximi that Brahma had fallen in love with his daughter and planned to marry her.
Such words would reveal heaven's secrets, sensed immediately by Vishnu, the Maintainer of the Universe.Even though Fanan's essence was Brahma, he could not control Supreme Spiritual Karma, and would not survive under Vishnu's scrutiny.
As for Ximi herself? Brahma dared not harm her, but Vishnu, the Guardian of the Three Thousand Realms, could kill her without hesitation if she posed a threat.
Of course, once the Trinity of Gods set universal rules, direct execution was no longer allowed.(In the future, the power of blessings surpasses universal rules—those blessed by ascetics cannot be killed directly by the Trinity.)
Fanan smiled silently, giving no answer.
Ximi did not press further. Instead, she invited him to visit her palace.
Fanan, who had no fixed residence, naturally did not refuse and followed her to Mount Sumeru.(Also called Mount Sumilu, or Mount Myoguang; it contained 460 million micro-worlds.)
Fanan was the first scholarly deity Ximi had met, and the first life of the Primordial Brahma Era.
Thus, she invited him to build a palace nearby, but Fanan politely declined. He did not wish to establish a "dojo" here.
Mount Sumeru connected a thousand human realms to a thousand celestial realms, making it not only a sacred mountain of the human realms but also a sacred mountain in the celestial realms.
In the celestial realm, it was called Mount Myogao, destined to become the dojo of the future Celestial Emperor. Many divine and demon battles were fought there.
Fanan enjoyed tranquility and wished to avoid the intrigues of the third, fourth, and fifth generations of gods.
Arriving at Ximi's Myoujin Palace, he became a guest for three thousand years.
During this time, Fanan and Ximi spoke freely, discussing philosophy, exchanging ideas, and exploring the primordial essence of Brahma.
In these three thousand years, Fanan personally experienced the beauty of the lingam being touched, embraced by the earth, which overwhelmed him like a volcanic eruption.
One day, a guest arrived at Myoujin Palace.
It was Moriqi, Brahma's eldest son. Though not a god, he possessed another extraordinary kind of power—magic, vast and majestic.
"Greetings, respected Primordial Element God of the Earth… and Lord of Consciousness. Three days hence is the wedding of my great father, Creator God Brahma, and my dear sister Saroshivadi," he said."Please, your Highnesses, attend the ceremony in the celestial realm!"
