At that moment, Rei leapt high into the air and landed atop a jagged black boulder.
Belial turned sharply, his crimson eyes narrowing at the sudden arrival of this human. There was something strange about him—an aura that felt almost the same as his own.
"You are…?" Belial's voice carried suspicion as he fixed his gaze on Rei.
"I am a Reionyx from Earth!" Rei declared firmly, gripping his Battle Nizer tightly. His eyes burned with resolve. "My name is Rei!"
"Oh? Hahaha…" Belial chuckled at the answer, amused. "Now this is interesting. That makes us brothers."
"I'm nothing like you!" Rei instantly shot back, refusing the comparison.
Belial sneered. "And how exactly are we different? We both carry the blood of the Reiblood."
"I fight for my comrades—for peace!" Rei's voice rang with conviction.
"Don't spout such pretty lies," Belial said coldly, pointing a clawed finger at him. "You disgrace the name of Reiblood."
His sneer twisted into a grin. "Fine then—I'll do you a favor and erase you along with the Land of Light!"
Belial raised the Ultimate Battle Nizer across his chest. His voice thundered like a curse:
"Go—one hundred monsters!"
Scarlet beams of light shot from the device, scattering in all directions like fireworks before slamming into the ground. Each beam exploded into a massive figure, and within moments, a hundred kaiju had materialized, completely surrounding Yuzhou and the others.
Some of them were familiar, others less so.
Gomora, Goldras, Silverbloon, Golza, and… Yuzhou's eyes bulged. "Wait a second—is that… Gatanozoa?!"
The gigantic, jet-black snail loomed before him, oozing malevolence.
"This can't be real… Even Gatanozoa's soul was buried here? And now Belial has revived it?!"
A chill ran down his spine. This is too much. Maybe running isn't such a bad idea after all…
Before he could voice the thought, Seven turned to him and barked, "Tiga! Your speed is the fastest. The Plasma Spark is behind Belial. Leave these monsters to us—your mission is to get it back!"
"…Fine." Yuzhou exhaled, nodding. If they were telling him not to face the horde directly, then that was good enough. "I'll give it a shot."
"Gomora! Cover Tiga!" Rei commanded, thrusting his Battle Nizer forward.
Yuzhou's face twitched, three black lines forming on his forehead. "Big brother, could you shout that any louder? Belial can't possibly hear you otherwise…"
Still, Gomora obeyed, charging ahead to tackle Red King, locking it in a brutal grapple.
Seeing his chance, Yuzhou leapt, springboarding off Red King's back and hurtling straight toward Belial.
Meanwhile, Ultraman Seven, the Original, and Mebius clashed against the rest of the kaiju army.
With a sharp thought, Yuzhou's wristband transformed, materializing into a blazing red crystal sword.
"Yokoh—Zaiperiou Flame Sword!" he shouted, gripping the blade.
He dove into the fray. Though his swordsmanship was crude, the weapon itself was devastating. Each fiery slash tore through lesser monsters, causing them to explode one after another.
"Not bad at all…" Yuzhou muttered after cleaving through another. Guess Hikari's hacks really are reliable.
Leaving Gomora and Mebius to hold the line, Yuzhou pressed on toward Belial.
But the battlefield was chaos—at one point, he even mistook one of Belial's summoned Gomoras for Rei's own and tried patting it on the shoulder.
"Gomora, how are you holding up?"
The kaiju roared furiously and lunged at him.
"…Oops. Wrong monster."
Blasted backward, Yuzhou retaliated with several powerful energy blasts. They pierced the creature cleanly, detonating it into rubble.
Wave after wave of beasts still surged forward. Frustrated, Yuzhou shifted tactics, firing a freezing beam into the horde. Frost spread instantly, locking dozens of kaiju in ice.
"Not bad at all. Guess Sky-Type has a few tricks worth using."
With another sweep of his flame sword, the frozen monsters shattered like glass.
Elsewhere, Seven and the Original unleashed their finishers, thinning the ranks further.
Finally, Yuzhou broke through the line. The monsters were behind him now—what remained was Belial himself.
Transforming into Power-Type, he gripped the flame sword tightly and confronted his greatest enemy face-to-face.
Belial's grin widened. "Well, well. You've got more skill than I thought. I assumed you'd just run away."
Yuzhou steadied his breathing, keeping his voice calm though his heart was racing. "Belial… have you eaten yet?"
"…What?" Belial blinked, stunned.
"Do you have parents?" Yuzhou asked with complete seriousness.
Belial scowled. "My parents left this world long ago."
Yuzhou sighed softly, shaking his head. "How pitiful."
Belial's rage boiled. "Enough nonsense! I'll give you one last chance to speak before you die!"
"Then listen well." Yuzhou's expression hardened. "I'll be your father from now on. And I'll make sure you feel my fatherly love."
Belial exploded in fury, raising the Ultimate Battle Nizer high. "Insolent wretch! You dare rebel against me?!"
The weapon came crashing down. Yuzhou roared back, swinging his flame sword with equal force.
Steel clashed with steel, sparks and shockwaves ripping through the battlefield. Even in Power-Type, the sheer force drove Yuzhou back several steps. His blade cracked under the impact, a jagged chip missing from its edge.
"My brand-new cheat sword…" he muttered bitterly. "Once Belial's down, I'm definitely going back to Hikari for another one."
And so the true clash with Belial began.
