Chapter 64 - Chapter 64 – Dyna Appears

Before Yuzhou could revert his sword back into a bracelet, Belial's staff came crashing down again. Yuzhou barely managed to raise his blade in defense. Steel rang against steel, sparks flying.

Crack!

The crimson crystal sword shattered in his hands. The follow-through of Belial's swing hurled Yuzhou through the air like a ragdoll.

Without pause, Belial pointed the Giga Battlenizer at Mebius. A surge of lightning burst forth, blasting Mebius away. He repeated the same with Ultraman, then with Seven—both collapsing heavily to the ground.

At the same time, Rei summoned his second monster, the primitive bird Litra, and himself transformed into his Reionix form. He fought against several alien foot soldiers with the ferocity of a cornered beast, quickly dispatching them.

But when he turned, he saw the fallen Ultramen. Desperate, he ordered Gomora forward. The kaiju charged Belial head-on—only to be swatted aside in one blow. Litra, soaring in the skies, fared no better; Belial smashed it into the ground with a single strike.

Belial's crimson eyes narrowed as he regarded Rei.

"So this is the Earth's Reionix? Interesting… Why not join me? Fight at my side, and the universe will be ours."

"Keep dreaming!" Rei shot back, his voice like ice.

Belial sneered. "Your tongue is sharp. But can you deny the blood of Reiblood that flows within you? Show me your true power."

With that, Belial's massive claw swatted Rei aside as if he were an insect. Rei crashed hard, groaning in pain. Yet his fury ignited. Red energy surged wildly from his body, his eyes and skin glowing the same ominous crimson as Belial's.

Even Gomora, bound to him, was overtaken by the madness—its body glowing blood-red, roaring uncontrollably.

Belial laughed darkly. "Yes… that's it! The instinct of Reiblood, awakened at last. Now spill Ultraman blood with that power!" He leapt onto a high outcrop, crouching there like a dark overseer. With a flick of the Battlenizer, he ordered his army of monsters to stand down, leaving the battlefield to Rei and Gomora's rampage.

"Rei!" Ultraman, Seven, and Mebius staggered into position before him, worry etched across their battered frames. None of them had imagined Belial could twist Rei's bloodline so completely.

Meanwhile, Yuzhou quietly shrank to human size, slipping into the shadows, inching toward the Plasma Spark hidden behind Belial.

Gomora, now berserk, lunged at the three Ultras. The First Ultraman grappled its horns, only to be violently flung aside. Seven rushed next, reaching for its head, but was smacked away before he could even make contact. Mebius grabbed its arm, and was hurled across the battlefield by a single twist.

Belial cackled from his perch. "Good! Go madder still! Tear them apart for me!"

Yuzhou nearly rolled his eyes. If you can't overpower the beast, then why fight it head-on? Dodge, people! But he didn't dare shout—he was already weaving between the legs of Belial's monster horde, creeping closer to his true objective.

Seven tried once more to restrain Gomora, but the monster's horn glowed ominously. A shockwave of vibrating energy blasted point-blank into his chest. Seven fell immediately, unconscious.

Belial's voice carried like a whip. "Finish him! Destroy Seven!"

Rei, consumed by rage, directed Gomora forward. But at that moment, a flash of light streaked across the sky. A spaceship pierced through the gloom, descending toward the Monster Graveyard.

Belial looked up, frowning. "What now?"

Mebius, half-propped on his elbow, gasped. "That's… Dyna!"

From his hiding spot, Yuzhou squinted through the gaps between towering beasts. So, it's really him… just like in the original timeline. Dyna has come, bringing Rei's teammates with him.

He thought further: If this Dyna came from the same world as Tiga… then maybe he knows me. Or maybe not. Depends which version of Dyna this is.

Before he could finish that train of thought, a strong voice echoed across the field:

"Leave this one to me!"

Dyna shot forward like a comet, slamming directly into Belial.

Yuzhou's jaw dropped. Are you kidding me? Straight headbutt at Belial? The guy the entire Land of Light couldn't handle in a group fight?! Brother, you've got guts. Mad respect, but guts.

With mock solemnity, he clasped his hands and bowed toward Dyna's back. "A true warrior. I salute you." Then he turned away, resuming his crawl toward the Plasma Spark.

In the sky, Dyna grappled Belial fiercely, clinging to him until the dark overlord shoved him off. They both landed hard, squaring up. Dyna launched into a fighting stance and unleashed twin spinning kicks. Belial dodged with ease, counter-swinging the Battlenizer.

Dyna absorbed the blow, seizing the weapon with one hand and slamming his other fist into Belial's abdomen. Thud! Thud!

No effect. Belial merely stared down at him as though being tapped by raindrops. Then his massive fists hammered Dyna's chest, sending him tumbling.

Yet Dyna rose again, defiant, charging once more.

Meanwhile, Rei's teammates finally reached him, calling out with desperate voices. Bit by bit, their words pierced his madness. Rei's crimson glow faded, his eyes clearing, and Gomora dissolved back into light, retreating into the Battlenizer.

Belial snarled, furious. "Damnable Earthlings—you dare ruin my fun?!" His rage blazed as he leveled the Battlenizer at Rei and his companions, energy surging for a lethal strike.

Yuzhou froze mid-step. He had been just about to slip past Belial for the Plasma Spark. But if Belial blasted Rei and Dyna now, all would be lost. Even if he grabbed the core, Belial would take it back.

He clenched his fists. "Looks like… I'll have to bet it all."
