Chapter 62 - Chapter 62 — Then It’s Fine

Yuzhou carefully set the two elders down. Hayata and Dan Moroboshi stepped forward to stand before the frozen Taro. Even under the thick layer of ice, a faint spark of plasma fire still glowed weakly at his chest.

Crossing their arms before them, the two veterans focused their Ultra psychic power. The frozen layer around Taro's chest cracked and shattered, releasing the last remaining light of the Plasma Spark.

A burst of radiant energy flared. In that glow, their old transformation devices reappeared—Hayata's Beta Capsule and Dan's Ultra Eye.

"From here… I leave it to you all," Taro's dim eyes flickered briefly as the light freed him. After speaking these few words, he sank again into silence.

The two men nodded firmly at Taro, then turned to Yuzhou.

"Belial now has the Giga Battlenizer," Dan said gravely. "With the Plasma Spark in his grasp, he'll almost certainly head to the Monster Graveyard to revive an army."

"To take back the Plasma Spark and save the Land of Light, we must defeat Belial first," Hayata added. "That means our next destination is the Graveyard."

"Wait, hold on—" Yuzhou scratched his Ultra head awkwardly. "Doesn't Belial just need the Battlenizer to revive monsters? He needs the Plasma Spark too?"

He had clearly remembered wrong.

"Yes," Dan confirmed. "The Plasma Spark's energy is vast—without it, even the Battlenizer can't revive so many at once."

Without another word, he slid the Ultra Eye onto his face and transformed into Ultraseven. Beside him, Hayata pressed the Beta Capsule and became the Original Ultraman once more.

Both turned to Yuzhou's Tiga and gave a nod. Still confused, Yuzhou nodded back anyway. The three then launched from the Plasma Spark Tower, soaring into the frozen void of the Land of Light.

No sooner had they left than four revived monsters intercepted them in open space.

Yuzhou frowned. He honestly couldn't put names to them—he'd studied some of their designs before, but without pulling out his phone in human form, he had no way to confirm.

"Looks like Belial has already begun," Seven muttered, halting his flight.

Yuzhou nodded grimly. If Belial had already raided the Graveyard, then those monsters Charija summoned earlier were surely long gone.

There was no choice but to deal with these four first.

Seven and the Original each lunged at a monster, grappling immediately. That left two still charging at Yuzhou.

"Seriously?!" Yuzhou yelped. Compared to the two legends, he felt like cannon fodder. Why did he get stuck with two?

The monsters barreled forward. Yuzhou didn't hesitate—he raised both hands and instantly fired Tiga's aerial-type finisher, the Lumpart Light Bullet.

The blast tore through the first monster before it even expected an attack, lightning crackling over its body until it erupted in a fiery explosion.

Both Ultramen turned their heads at once, startled. This Tiga had just one-shot a monster outright.

Yuzhou himself blinked in surprise—but then reasoned it out. These creatures had just been revived; their power wasn't at its peak. Plus, the Plasma Spark's residual energy was still strengthening him. A clean kill made sense.

Still, one monster remained. As it lunged, Yuzhou rolled aside, charged another Lumpart Light Bullet, and blasted it before it could recover. Once again, arcs of energy surged over its form before it detonated in space.

Another instant kill.

Seven and the Original stared wide-eyed. This wasn't the Tiga they remembered—this one was absurdly strong. Having such an ally raised their hopes of reclaiming the Plasma Spark considerably.

They finished off their own opponents with their signature finishers, then regrouped.

"Tiga, you're incredible," Seven praised, giving him a thumbs-up.

Yuzhou wanted to protest, to insist it was only because these monsters were weak. But then the Original added warmly:

"With that strength, even Belial won't be your match."

Yuzhou flailed both hands in panic. "No, no, no, no, no! Don't pin Belial on me, I swear I'm not that strong!"

He sighed. "Really, it's just that those monsters were fresh out of the Graveyard. Anyone could've done it."

"Don't be so modest," Seven clapped him on the shoulder. "Come on, let's go face Belial together."

"Wait!" Yuzhou yelped as Seven tried to drag him along. "Shouldn't you, uh… leave an Ultra Signal first? To alert the others on Planet K76?"

"Ah, good point," Seven paused, then released a shining Ultra Signal into the void.

Yuzhou exhaled in relief. At least when Zero and the others arrive, we'll have backup. Maybe I'll even survive this.

The three pressed on toward the Graveyard. Along the way, they encountered Mebius—returning with the Earthling Reionyx, Rei.

Now their group numbered four Ultramen and one Reionyx, heading straight for Belial.

The Reionyx were beings—human or alien—infected with the genetic legacy of the Alien Rayblood, giving them the power to control monsters through their Battlenizers. Belial had the Ultimate Battlenizer; Rei wielded his own.

To Seven and the Original, Rei's presence was invaluable. If one Reionyx could battle another, their chances improved.

Rei himself was astonished to meet not just Ultramen, but these Ultramen—legends made real.

Meanwhile, at the Monster Graveyard, Belial had already revived nearly a hundred beasts and sealed them within the Battlenizer. He was reveling in his power when five streaks of light descended from the sky.

"Who's there?" Belial snarled, glaring at the intruders.

The lights resolved into Ultraman, Ultraseven, Mebius, Tiga, and Rei's Gomora.

"Belial!" Seven roared, eyes blazing. "It's time to settle this!"

"So you pests survived," Belial sneered, cracking his neck. Then his eyes fixed on Yuzhou.

"Especially you." He raised one massive claw to point at Tiga. "You dared to defy me and live. Good… I'll enjoy tearing you apart first."

Yuzhou swallowed hard. That glare made it clear—Belial wanted him. The others might as well not exist.

This is it. Either I fight, or I die.

"Maybe I should just… slip away quietly," he thought for half a second. But he instantly crushed the idea. If he fled now, he'd disgrace not only the Land of Light, but himself.

He straightened. "Belial!" he shouted, voice ringing through the void. "Never listen to slander or rumors!"

"…What?" Belial blinked, utterly confused.

Yuzhou nodded sagely. "Then it's fine."
