Sunday morning, the trio goes to inspect the house. .
Nnamdi: "So this is the house, I told you it's small. Please watch your head"
Reina: (tries to step in, hits her head in a wooden beam) "ouch. Ahh is this how I'll be hitting my head"
Grace: "Ehn you'll bend your head. Don't you usually see those Nollywood ancient houses where they'll bend to enter their huts"
Reina: "it's not even wide. I'm sure if I stand in the center and stretch my arms it will touch the walls. Oya see nau" (proceeds to stretch her arms) "you see . Almost"
Nnamdi: "please you'll manage it like that it's just for now" (turns to Grace) "Nne please help us get drinks from that bar"
Grace: "Alright" (exits)
Nnamdi: (to Reina) "sit down"
Reina: "looks around and finally positions herself on a mat"
Nnamdi: (moves closer to her and tries to touch my thighs she moves farther from him but he urges her to remain calm)
Reina: "(hesitating) so this is why you sent her to buy drinks abi. Leave me oo. I'll shout now"
Nnamdi: "Shout if you like. Nobody can hear you. Everybody has gone to church" (proceeds to touch her breasts and she pushes his hand feeling uncomfortable) "just relax, why are you doing like this"
Suddenly they hear footsteps approaching and they learn Grace is back . Nnamdi let's her go and returns to his former position
Nnamdi: (after emptying his bottle of Heineken he motions to Reina to lie down this time in Grace's presence. With disgust written on her face she turns to Grace for answers but she looks away.
After much futile persuasion eventually Grace speaks up)
Grace: "if she no gree free am na. It's not by force. Me I'm coming" (with that she goes over to Nnamdi's side and they start cuddling and giggling. Reina gently turns away and concentrates on her phone)
Few hours later....
Grace: "Nkem we have to start going oo. It's almost 12 I don't want her grandmother to start looking for her"
Reina : "Yes let's go please I need to get home and cook"
Nnamdi: " okay no problem" (gets up, pick up the keys and they all move outside)
Reina: (to herself) "I really regret having anything to do with this people. I don't even know why I agreed to follow them. My ancestors should have warned me about a day like this. Just imagine that kind of house, did I come to this world to suffer, oh God I'm tired of this life oo. Is this how I'm going to end up? I'm just going backwards while my mates are making progress (hisses) . How do I get myself out of this situation now" (she continues to ponder until they get home)
Grace: "Ngwanu bye bye. Nkem see you later, I'll call you in the evening"
Nnamdi: "(Smiling like he just won the lottery) okay see you later"
