As he was coming up with plans to punish her, everyone started laughing as they realised the girl actually made Hanrui, the mischievous kid, unable to retort.

"So, what is the real reason you left out the details of her story?" Xue Li and Gu Yuena agreed at the same time. They look at each other in surprise.

Gu Yuena seeing Hanrui acting vulnerable for the first time felt flustered and did not know what to do as she sat there staring at him.

Qian Renxue, lost in thought, suddenly came back to her senses. "What's going on, what are these feelings I'm having?" she questioned herself, not understanding her own behaviour.
"Have I fallen for a child?" She muttered in disbelief.
