Superman's scream was so loud that guests attending the charity banquet nearby all heard it, turning their curious gazes.
"Superman?"
Superman's figure was often seen in Metropolis, but opportunities to get close to him were rare, so these people were very excited.
Don't assume the wealthy don't idolize celebrities; many rich women, seeing it was Superman, immediately rushed forward.
Pandora, seeing Superman in such pain, immediately wanted to take the Magic Box back, but how could her power compare to Superman's?
She couldn't pull it away, and as a result, when the ordinary people rushed forward, Pandora was directly pushed out by the surging crowd.
Pandora was stomping her feet in frustration outside, almost pulling out her pistol to physically disperse the crowd.
But fortunately, she finally remembered that she was also a sorceress, and immediately used her magic power to pull away the crowd surrounding Superman.
Superman was in great danger now!
In Pandora's eyes, the red energy within the Magic Box had already permeated Superman's heart, seducing him and leading him to fall.
"Superman! Don't be misled, fight it with your mind!"
Pandora's shout caught Superman's attention. He looked up, red light flashing in his eyes, looking very much like he was about to use his heat vision.
The surrounding people inexplicably felt a chill run down their spines. Superman's eyes were not as gentle as they appeared on television.
They instinctively retreated, as if fearing that this Superman in front of them would unleash heat vision at any moment.
But Pandora faintly saw a red eye on Superman's forehead—it was a demon eye!
As the demon eye gradually appeared, the painful expression on Superman's face slowly faded.
It was replaced by a face revealing a wild, evil grin: "Why not? I feel great!"
"Oh no!" Pandora finally realized she had caused a huge disaster, but she was now unable to retrieve the Magic Box.
Superman scanned his surroundings, then turned his gaze towards the hotel behind him, as if searching for someone.
"I found you!"
With that, Superman's body flew into the sky with a "thump" and then directly crashed through the building.
Seeing this, Pandora immediately pushed through the crowd and ran towards the hotel.
She had already made one mistake; she absolutely couldn't make a second!
Inside the hotel, the clinking glasses and lively atmosphere of the banquet were suddenly interrupted by a loud noise.
They looked up and saw Superman flying in, having broken through the wall.
"Superman? What is he doing here?" Rex felt a little strange.
He subtly glanced at Lois beside him and saw that she also looked bewildered.
Looks like it's not her.
Rex frowned slightly, but then he noticed something even stranger: Superman's eyes were fixed on him, and the message conveyed in his gaze seemed malevolent.
"Are you kidding me?"
Rex saw the red light in Superman's eyes and suddenly felt a chill all over, cursing inwardly.
Even if you saw Lois and me together, is there any need to be so angry?
But he quickly discovered the problem: in Superman's hand, he was holding a golden skull.
Before Rex could continue to ponder what that thing meant, a voice suddenly came from beside him: "Careful! Rex!"
He only heard that one sentence, and then he was kicked in the waist by a high heel, the pain twisting his entire face.
But because of that, Rex avoided a heat vision blast from above. The two red lights pierced through the floor where Rex had just stood, going straight through to the floor below.
He didn't know what happened downstairs, but he only knew that he had almost died under Superman's heat vision!
Rex looked up in disbelief. He couldn't believe this was something Superman would do!
He actually tried to kill him in broad daylight!
This completely went against Superman's usual style. Rex was almost certain now that he must have been controlled by something.
Immediately after Superman fired that heat vision, the people in the room suddenly understood what was happening and instantly descended into chaos.
Men rushed towards the nearest exit, while women screamed loudly. In the blink of an eye, the formerly dignified people were in a complete mess.
"Superman! What are you doing!"
In the center of the room, Lois, who had just kicked Rex away and saved his life, looked at Superman in mid-air and felt he was very unfamiliar.
Superman dispersed his heat vision, but an eerie red light still flickered in his eyes. He gave Lois an evil grin.
"Doing what I should have been doing all along."
Saying that, he landed on the floor like a gust of wind, creating a violent air pressure that almost made Lois unable to open her eyes.
Before she could fully react, Superman had already bypassed Lois and gone straight to Rex, grabbing him by the neck with one hand and lifting him up.
"Rex, you should pay for the lives of the people who died in St. Roch and Canada!"
Rex was caught by him, his face contorted in discomfort, but he still sneered.
"Look at you, Superman, you're finally showing your true colors, aren't you? Are you going to exercise your right to vigilante justice and kill me?"
Lois finally reacted and quickly ran to Clark, grabbing his arm.
"You can't do this! You never take anyone's life!"
Clark's expression showed a moment of struggle, but it was fleeting: "Actually, I can, and I think I should have done it a long time ago."
Lois was even more anxious, and in order to stop Superman, she couldn't help but blurt out Superman's real name: "Stop! Stop, Clark!"
A glint flashed in Lex's eyes. At that moment, the confusion spell lost its effect on him, and he finally connected the face in front of him with Clark Kent.
"So it's you! No wonder, no wonder, I should have thought of it sooner. It's strange, you two look exactly alike..."
But Lex couldn't continue. Superman's large hand completely squeezed his windpipe, and Lex felt he couldn't breathe at all.
Seeing that Clark wouldn't listen to her and was determined to kill Lex, Lois could only use her last resort. She shouted to Superman: "I'm pregnant!"
Superman's hand stopped. He released his grip in a daze, and Lex and the pandoras box simultaneously dropped to the ground.
Freed from the Magic Box's enchantment, Superman finally broke free from its control. He immediately turned his head to look at Lois's abdomen.
He tried to see inside with his X-ray vision, but Clark lacked relevant medical knowledge, and Lois was still far from showing, so he couldn't see anything.
He couldn't help but ask: "Is this true?"
Seeing the red light in his eyes disappear and him seemingly returning to normal, Lois couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. Then, with a hint of anger, she said:
"Of course it's true, but it's only been three weeks. You can't see anything now."
Three weeks?
Wasn't that the last time they... you know?
It was on that day that the two of them fell into a cold war.
Clark suddenly felt very guilty. He opened his mouth, and in the end could only say: "I'm sorry, Lois."
"I'm so sorry..."
Lois looked around and saw many people watching in horror, and some were even secretly filming with their phones. She quickly pulled Clark.
"Clark, you must leave here. No, we all must leave here quickly."
"Uh, okay, of course, if you wish."
Clark carefully picked up Lois, surrounded her with his bio-field, and then the two flew up and out towards the balcony.
After they left, the people in the venue could finally breathe a sigh of relief. Although it was only a few minutes, it felt like a narrow escape from death.
Only Lex Luthor, after Superman and Lois left, kept his eyes on the golden skull that had fallen from Superman's hand.
"Let me see what you really are..." Lex was bold. Knowing that Superman's mind was very likely affected by this object, he still dared to reach out and touch it.
He only thought that if this thing could bewitch Superman, then it could certainly be used by him.
But before his hand could touch it, he was stopped by someone.
"You can't touch him!" The person was Pandora. By the time she arrived, Superman had already left.
Fortunately, Superman was affected by the Magic Box for only a short time and didn't cause any very serious consequences. Otherwise, Pandora's Sin would have been even greater.
"Who are you?" Lex stood up and straightened his appearance.
Although Superman's handprint had not yet faded from his neck, it did not affect his demeanor.
"I am Pandora." Pandora looked Lex up and down, seemingly evaluating something. "Unfortunately, you don't meet the requirements."
The Magic Box requires a person who is'supremely good' or'supremely evil' to open it. Her original'supremely good' Superman had already failed.
So next, she could only try to find a'supremely evil' person.
But Lex was clearly not qualified enough. He was 'evil', but far from'supremely evil'.
Lex frowned slightly, his brain quickly analyzing the meaning of the woman's words. A moment later, he gently narrowed his eyes, looking at the skull in Pandora's hand.
"pandoras box?"
This was a very familiar name in the Western World. Lex had made the connection when Pandora stated her name.
No wonder even Superman couldn't resist such power. The power of Sin, one could say, is something no human can resist.
Clark only possessed power comparable to a god, but in essence, he was still a mortal.
This discovery made Lex much happier. He looked at the box in Pandora's hand, trying to figure out how to snatch it back from her.
But Pandora didn't give him such an opportunity at all. She put away the Magic Box, her figure flickered, and she disappeared directly from Lex's sight.
Lex's expression instantly turned gloomy. This was another freak with strange abilities.
However, thinking of another matter, he became happy again.
"So you are Superman, Clark Kent!"
