Over seven centuries ago, the human ruled Kingdom of Hana was the biggest nation on the continent, spanning over 80 miles in each direction with the capital being a little over 8.
The kingdom was peaceful, and a large hub for trading and selling goods thanks to the large and safe areas for merchants and adventurers alike to travel through. The nation was beloved for its freedom and diversity, and smaller nations neighboring it were always on good terms, allowing for the selling and production of goods only found in those smaller areas.
That all changed when a very special human was born.
This human girl was just as ordinary as everyone else born in her time; an ordinary middle-class family, a small village on the outskirts of the kingdom... but this girl had a very odd feature:
Her pitch black hair did not match anybody else's in the area, and her yellow eyes literally glowed every time she opened her eyes.
When brought before a healer, her parents quickly learned that their daughter is a very special case. Her magic aptitude was the highest anyone had seen before, and her physical strength was far too high for a child her age. The healer predicted that she would only get stronger as she aged.
The girl was raised a fighter. She trained day in and day out at the young age of 6 years old to learn how to use a sword and cast magic. It was gruelling, but her parents had to, for the healer also told them of a prophecy.
A legendary hero will be born on the same day as a terrifying calamity. Only the hero can stop this calamity, and only the calamity can stop this hero.
It was just a children's fairy tale. But now it was becoming true. The yellow eyes and black hair are indications of this as they match the story perfectly.
And if this story is true, then something else was born into the world...
When the girl turned 16, disaster struck the kingdom. The capital was in ruins, and both the king and queen were killed. When the hero finally arrived, it was too late: the kingdom was overrun by a tyrant known as The Dragon King.
Elemental drakes circled the sky, each representing the 6 types of magic. They would go down in history as the most dangerous and rare dragons in the world.
After years of preparing, the hero finally confronted the Dragon King. For almost a full decade, they fought non-stop and without rest. How they did so is told differently everywhere, but it is collectively agreed upon that neither needed sleep or rest to continue their battle.
In the end, the Dragon King was trapped in a powerful seal and sent deep into a mountain for all eternity. The only catch was that the hero had to remain sealed as well to ensure it would never break.
Now, hundreds of years later, the seal remains standing... but something strange happened when a young boy was born with abnormally black hair, and his eyes glowed a bright yellow unseen for almost 700 years.
