Naruto looked down at the Mangekyō Sharingan in his hand.
These were Shisui's eyes.
His first goal had been to obtain them, and now he had succeeded.
Danzo never imagined that Naruto—a mere brat—could sneak up on him.
And Naruto also knew exactly how to strike his eyes.
Looking around, Naruto muttered helplessly, "There's no nutrient solution, no bottles… if I put these on myself, my own eyes will be ruined."
If he implanted them in himself, his original eyes would be useless.
Temporarily giving them to someone else was also risky, because he feared others would cast Distinguished Heavenly Gods on him.
It was a real hot potato.
Naruto hesitated briefly, then gripped the eyes tighter.
Danzo stretched out a hand to stop him. "Kid! Do you even realize what you're destroying?!"
"Let me see…"
Naruto frowned slightly, treating Danzo perfunctorily—but his hand moved quickly and decisively.
That Mangekyō Sharingan, the eye capable of casting the most powerful genjutsu, the Distinguished Heavenly Gods, was now being shattered.
"It seems… very important," Naruto said, his voice betraying a hint of uncertainty.
But his expression remained calm, showing no confusion.
Danzo saw Shisui's Mangekyō Sharingan shattered and felt a chill run through him.
It was as if Shisui's eyes had belonged to him personally.
His anger surged further when he noticed Sarutobi Hiruzen hesitating and not acting.
He made a secret hand gesture, signaling for his subordinates to intervene—but no matter what he did, the usually obedient and loyal Root ninja never appeared.
Danzo frowned, thinking furiously.
Suddenly, Naruto's voice rang behind him: "Careful behind you!"
Danzo turned instinctively and saw a Shadow Clone of Naruto holding a ninja sword, ready to strike.
He tried to react, but it was too late.
Danzo drew a kunai and swung at the clone, stabbing toward the ceiling—but the Shadow Clone bypassed it effortlessly.
Puff!
The kunai slashed across Danzo's arm, instantly severing it.
The figure behind him wasn't a mere clone, but a real Shadow Clone transferring the damage to the main body.
Danzo glared at Naruto, enraged. "When… when did this happen?!"
Naruto shrugged innocently. "I heard you wanted to harm me. When you turned around, I didn't expect you wouldn't notice. I was really surprised."
Combat experience mattered.
And Naruto was a ninja by profession—skilled in every dirty trick imaginable.
So Danzo, a man of decades of experience, suffered a loss at the hands of a seemingly bratty boy.
As for Danzo's Root subordinates—Naruto had already eliminated them with Shadow Clones before turning back.
This was why Danzo had remarked that Hiruzen shouldn't intervene.
Horrified, Danzo realized how cunning and despicable Naruto truly was.
And worst of all, his innocence made him impossible to read.
Danzo yelled at Hiruzen, "Sarutobi Hiruzen! What on earth are you waiting for?!"
"Alas…" Hiruzen sighed, rising from his seat.
Naruto quickly put on an innocent smile, raising his hands in a mock salute. "I'm sorry, Master Hokage. I seem to have made a mistake."
"But it's only because he wants to control me. I hope Hokage-sama can distinguish right from wrong."
Polite, yet cruel.
Hiruzen looked at Naruto.
Blood smeared his hands. One of his arms had been severed—but Naruto's smile seemed to heal it better than anything else.
"Naruto… are you angry too?" Hiruzen asked.
Naruto knew that if he chose, he could kill Danzo.
It wasn't certain whose side Hiruzen would take.
He wasn't afraid to leave Konoha completely—but there were people he cared about there.
So now wasn't the time for outright rebellion.
Crushing Danzo's arm, Naruto nodded obediently. "I'm done, Hokage-sama."
Hiruzen's voice was serious. "Naruto, I know the village has wronged you, but I also know you are a good boy. I hope you won't let today's events weigh on your heart. No one in Konoha will harm you again. I promise this with everything I have."
"Thank you, Grandpa Hokage," Naruto said politely. "Now I can live in Konoha at peace."
A few words were enough.
Hiruzen would restrain other high-level officials from interfering in Naruto's life.
And Naruto, too lazy to adapt to a new environment, could continue living in Konoha without trouble.
Danzo, furious at Hiruzen's leniency, shouted, "Sarutobi Hiruzen! Is this all because of my eye and arm?!"
"Stop! Stop! Stop!" Naruto interrupted, feigning surprise. "My lord, what are you talking about? Isn't everything I destroyed… already yours?"
"Your eyes can't see, your arm can't move. I didn't destroy your normal eyes or your arm! I just helped you clean up the excess… waste meat. You even saved on surgery fees."
"Huh? Surgery fees? So you owe me money?!"
Danzo: "????"
At that moment, he felt completely humiliated.
He hadn't expected that Naruto would act so suddenly—
destroy his eyes, trick him, and leave him no chance to use Izanagi.
Now, with Shisui's Mangekyō gone, the Distinguished Heavenly Gods were lost too.
With his Sharingan arm gone, many lives would be endangered.
Even more, most of the Hashirama cells were in that arm—he could no longer use Wood Style, and future backlash was inevitable.
But he couldn't complain.
Naruto had a point.
To outsiders, Danzo had lost an arm and an eye.
Naruto had simply "cleaned up the waste."
And now, the Mangekyō Sharingan was destroyed.
Danzo had no choice but to bear the secret loss—and it made him furious.
After all these years, he had always taken advantage… never suffered one.
And now, he had been outsmarted.
Seething, Danzo shook.
Naruto laughed softly. "My lord, don't be so angry~ Isn't it just a useless arm and an eye? If it's gone, it's gone. At worst, you can get a prosthetic. They're useless anyway, right?"
Danzo ground his teeth, furious—because he couldn't explain the truth.
The suffocating humiliation was unbearable.
All these years… he had never met someone so shameless.
Seeing Danzo silent, Naruto pouted. "Sir, speak up. Are these a useless arm and useless eye?"
"Hiss! Do you know the secret of my arm and eye?!"
"Yes!" Danzo said quickly, his face contorted. "They are useless!"
Naruto nodded slightly. "Good. Then I won't disturb you anymore. I'm leaving~"
