Chapter 31 - Chapter 31: Luxury, Secrets, and Hidden Ties

They stepped out of the taxi and stood in front of the grand store.

"Bvlgari Jewelry & Accessories," Dior read aloud, her eyes scanning the elegant glass building. She pulled out her phone immediately. "Let me check something."

Her fingers moved quickly across the screen as she searched for information.

"Okay… this is a top-tier luxury brand. One of the biggest names in jewelry and fashion. They're even among the top five globally," she muttered, scrolling. "And… wow, they've had massive success recently thanks to their ambassador—Lisa from BLACKPINK."

She paused, slowly turning to Hazel with narrowed eyes.

"…Wait. Lisa? Is that why you suddenly want to buy jewelry so badly?"

Hazel didn't even try to hide it. "Hmm… yes. I know I'm a little obsessed with Lisa, but she helped promote a new chain design, and her name is engraved on it. I want it… and of course, I'll get something for you too."

Dior sighed, shaking her head. "You're unbelievable. Do you even know how expensive this place is? The lowest necklace here is around $200,000."

Hazel only smiled.

Dior looked back at her phone again, then froze slightly.

"…Wait. This brand is also sponsored by Liam Greco."

Hazel blinked. "Really?"

Hazel nodded slowly. "Yeah… but—" She hesitated. "We're secretly dating, remember?"

"Oh right…" Dior muttered, then smirked. "Still, that means he might have met Lisa in person."

Dior raised a brow. "Why does that even matter to you?"

Before Hazel have could respond, Dior shook her head and slipped her phone back into her bag. "Okay, enough. Let's just go inside."

The moment they stepped in, elegance wrapped around them.

"Welcome to Bvlgari Jewelry & Accessories," a staff member greeted politely. "How may I help you?"

"We'd like to buy jewelry," Dior said confidently.

"Of course, ma. Please follow me."

They were led into the jewelry section, where lights reflected off diamonds and gold, making everything sparkle beautifully.

Hazel's gaze wandered… until something caught her attention.

She pointed. "What's that?"

The assistant smiled. "That is a Bvlgari diamond watch, sponsored by Lisa. It was specially designed with her influence, and her name is engraved on it. It's made with real diamonds."

Hazel didn't even hesitate. "I want it."

"Of course, ma. I'll have it prepared. Anything else?"

Dior was already scanning the displays. After a moment, she stopped at a necklace.

"Can you explain this one?"

"Yes, ma. That is an Andreli Burma Ruby CDC-certified diamond statement necklace, crafted in 18-karat white gold. It is valued at $525,450.04."

Dior nodded. "I'll take it."

The assistant turned to Hazel. "Anything else, ma?"

Hazel was about to decline, but Dior suddenly called her over.

"Hazel, come look at this."

She walked over.

"And this?" Dior asked.

"It's a two-piece heart-shaped 'Best Friends Forever' necklace set," the assistant explained. "Valued at $200,000."

Dior smiled. "We'll take that too."

Hazel glanced at her but didn't argue.

"That will be all," Dior said.

They were led to the cashier.

"The total comes to $1,325,450.04, ma."

Hazel calmly brought out her ATM card.

Dior leaned closer, whispering, "Rich girl behavior…"

Hazel ignored her, inserted the card, and entered the amount without hesitation.

The machine beeped.

Transaction successful.

As the items were being packaged, Dior watched Hazel with a small smile.

"Must be nice…"

Hazel glanced at her. "What?"

"Nothing," Dior said lightly. "Just… thank you."

Hazel rolled her eyes slightly. "Don't make it emotional. You're the one who dragged me here."

But despite her words, there was a faint smile on her lips.

Outside the store, the shopping bags in hand, neither of them noticed the black car parked across the street.

Inside it—

A man watched silently.

And reported everything.
