"Cut to the chase. I'm here for business," Liam said coldly, his sharp gaze fixed on Robbert. "You got the package?"
"Of course," Robbert replied with a smile, signaling one of his men. A briefcase was brought forward and placed on the table. When it was opened, stacks of drugs were revealed neatly arranged inside. Liam didn't react; he simply gestured to Ian. Another briefcase was placed on the table and opened, this one filled with cash. Venom stepped forward and took the case of drugs while Robbert's men collected the money.
The deal was done.
Liam stood up, ready to leave, but just as he turned—
Click.
The sound of guns being cocked filled the room. Dozens of weapons were suddenly pointed at him and his men. Robbert smiled, leaning back slightly like he had already won.
"Liam… I'll be taking that back," he said calmly. "And killing you. If I eliminate you, I'll finally rise as a mafia lord."
For a moment, the room fell silent.
Then Liam smiled.
"You're right," he said.
Before anyone could react—
BANG!
He pulled out a hidden gun from his chest holster and shot the nearest man dead.
"Always search your guests before inviting them," Liam added coldly.
Chaos erupted instantly. Gunshots rang out as bodies dropped one after another.
"L-Liam! Please—spare me!" Robbert suddenly fell to his knees, panic written all over his face. "Take the money, take everything—just let me go!"
Liam walked toward him slowly, his expression unreadable.
"…Such a shame," he said. "You wanted to kill me… and now you're begging?"
"Please—!"
"I'll let you go."
Relief flooded Robbert's face. "Th-thank you—"
BANG!
The bullet went straight through his forehead. His body collapsed lifelessly onto the floor.
"Greet your men for me," Liam said calmly, stepping over him.
Outside, gunshots echoed continuously, but within minutes, everything went quiet. Robbert's men were completely wiped out.
"Boss, where to next?" Ian asked.
Liam's eyes darkened slightly.
"…Lorenzo."
They arrived at an abandoned building not long after. Liam stepped out of the car with Ian, Hale, Eric, Shiro, and Ronald following closely behind him.
"Lorenzo!" Liam's voice echoed through the building. "Get out here!"
Immediately, men began to surround them from all directions—about forty of them, armed with pipes, knives, and crude weapons. Liam glanced around once, unimpressed.
"…Forty?" he muttered. "What a waste."
He drew his gun.
Gunshots rang out rapidly as bodies dropped one after another. Ian moved with deadly precision, every shot accurate. Hale unsheathed his blade, cutting through enemies effortlessly.
The fight turned brutal.
A man rushed Liam with a pipe, but Liam dodged smoothly and shot him at point-blank range. Without hesitation, he holstered his gun and pulled out a knife.
"This," Liam said coldly, "is how you use a blade."
He grabbed a man and slit his throat in one swift motion, blood spilling instantly. More men rushed in, but his expression didn't change.
"Boss, go ahead—we've got this!" Ian shouted.
Liam didn't hesitate. He moved upstairs.
A man charged at him, but Liam threw his knife without slowing down.
THUD.
The blade sank straight into the man's head. Dead.
Liam retrieved his gun and continued forward, shooting down anyone in his way. Five more men fell before he finally reached the top floor.
Lorenzo was waiting.
"You bastard!" Liam shouted. "You think you can run after killing my men?!"
Lorenzo turned, pulling out his gun with a sneer. "If I kill you here… your empire ends."
Lorenzo fired, but Liam dodged easily and shot his leg.
"AHHH!"
Another shot followed, hitting his hand and forcing the gun to drop. Lorenzo collapsed, groaning in pain.
Liam walked toward him slowly… then sat down in front of him.
"…You want to torture me before killing me?" Lorenzo spat weakly.
"No," Liam replied calmly. "I want to return the favor."
Lorenzo froze.
"You shouldn't have sent that video."
Fear filled his eyes.
Liam brought out a knife and a lighter, heating the blade slowly.
"No… no… don't—" Lorenzo shook violently.
Liam grabbed his head firmly.
"No one touches what's mine."
Then—
He slit his throat.
Silence followed.
Moments later, Ian and Hale arrived. Ian handed him a cloth, and Liam calmly wiped the blood off his favorite knife.
"Clean everything," he ordered.
"Yes, boss."
"Reserve the entire first-class cabin," Liam said as they walked out. "We're heading back to London."
He didn't wait. His thoughts were already elsewhere.
At the airport, everything was cleared instantly. Within minutes, Liam was seated inside his private jet.
"Prepare for takeoff," the attendant announced.
Two hours later, the plane landed.
Liam stepped out, his men already waiting for him.
His first words were cold and direct.
"Where is she?"
Hazel's POV
"Thanks for coming," Vorden said.
Dior suddenly checked her phone. "Oh shoot! I have a cheerleader sleepover. Bye guys!"
She quickly hugged Hazel and Vorden before rushing off.
Hazel waved lightly as she left.
A few minutes later, Dior reached the dorm. She was just about to open the door when suddenly a hand grabbed her from behind and covered her mouth.
Her eyes widened in shock.
"Mmm—!!"
She struggled, but they were too strong. They dragged her into a car, and the door slammed shut.
At an unknown location, she was thrown onto a bed.
Click.
The door locked.
"Hey! Let me go!" she shouted, banging hard on the door.
No response.
Minutes passed.
Slowly, she stopped struggling and sat on the floor, tears filling her eyes.
"…I can't believe I got kidnapped again…"
Then—
Footsteps.
She froze instantly.
Someone was coming.
Quickly, she stood up and hid behind the door.
The door opened.
A man stepped in, scanning the room carefully.
"…Someone's here," he muttered.
He walked forward slowly.
In that instant—
Hazel grabbed an umbrella—
WHACK!
—and struck him hard.
