I hated the way they had treated Zoe.
There were bruises on her face, and her lip was bleeding.
It seemed like she had put up quite a fight, but my brother, being the monster he was, had eventually overpowered her.
Kash's fists clenched in anger. At the same time, Wilson smiled at the tension among us.
"Let go of my sister," Kash hissed.
"My brother—" she cried before dropping to her knees.
Walkin suddenly arrived, stopping beside us.
"ZOE!!!!"
My heart broke when I saw the way he yelled and tried to reach her. Kash had to hold him back to stop him.
We could already tell there was some kind of trap beneath those petals.
"Leave her and talk to me," Kash hissed.
"Whatever you want, tell me. I'll give it to you," he added.
"Whatever I want?" my brother asked, a smile playing on his lips.
"Yes, whatever you want," Kash repeated.
"Wealth, lands, servants–" My brother spoke in a malicious tone, his smile widening whenever his eyes met mine.
I was seething with rage.
